블록체인 기술은 '새로운 산업을 만드는 구조'는 아니다. 오히려 과거 인터넷이 도입되면서 사회, 경제 모델 전반이 바뀐 것에 비하면 작은 변화에 가깝다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 블록체인은 높은 보안성과 투명성을 기반으로 기존 산업의 기대 효용을 높여 주고, 다양한 시도를 가능하게 만들어 줄 것이라는 점에서 매우 기대되는 분야이기도 하다. 블록체인은 인터넷 이후의 다른 기술과는 확연히 다르다는 주장을 유심히 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 왜냐하면 블록체인이 인터넷과 우리 사회구조를 어떻게 혁신 시킬 수 있는지, 인터넷 이후의 마케팅 세계가 어떻게 변해왔는지, 소비자는 또 어떻게 변해 왔는지 우리는 쉽게 알 수 있기 때문이다. 이처럼 현재 우리 사회는 "새로운 것을 만들기보다는 효율성과 사회의 신뢰성, 콘텐츠 가치의 투명성을 높여 주는 것이 블록체인의 기술이다"라고 정의할 수 있다. 그렇다면 블록체인 기술의 혁신이 미디어 산업 분야에도 접목되어 새로운 동력으로 작용 할 수 있을 것인가? 이같은 질문과 함께 본 고에서는 블록체인과 콘텐츠 산업, 블록체인과 미디어 서비스 구조, 새로운 서비스 사례 및 기존 스트리밍 서비스, 콘텐츠 제작 및 유통 분야 변화, 그리고 유료 콘텐츠 거래, 디지털 콘텐츠의 효율적인 저작권 관리 분야에서 그 역할과 비중이 어떻게 적용되어 효과가 나타나게 될 것인지에 대해 방송 현업 종사자의 시각에서 살펴보았다. 결국 이러한 신기술을 적극 활용하기 위해서는 블록체인 기술이 갖는 신뢰와 가치라는 근본적인 사항과 미디어업계 종사자들의 긍정적인 인식 변화와 함께 블록체인 미디어 비즈니스 생태계 조성을 위한 연구와 파일럿 적용 등 실험적 여정들이 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

This paper explored the development factors influencing the high growth of internet media industry recently in Korea. Both theoretical model and analytic model were formulated and tested by the results of questionnaire analysis. The factors extracted from five fields were as followings: policy, technology, market, firm, and profitability. Factor analysis was used to test the fitness of the given model, and the hypothesized model was found to be useful to explain the development factors of the internet media industry. The results showed that industry's development was explained by 41.3% for firm level, 37.6% for IT technology and policy, and 21.00/0 for market condition and competition.

The importance of Internet banking has been emphasized due to the spread of Internet and the potential advantages of Internet banking. In case of Korea, Internet banking users have been risen dramatically since 1999 after its introduction. The purpose of this study is to draw the antecedent variables that affect the adoption of Internet banking and show their effects empirically. In this paper, influencing factors are proposed to distinguishing Internet banking users from non-users. And nine hypotheses are empirically tested using logistic regression. The results show that most of hypotheses are supported except for complexity and IT innovativeness. And compatibility was found to have a strong positive effect on the adoption of Internet banking. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.

In this study, a research model is constructed based on the theory of technology adoption. Independent constructs are largely grouped into two: (1) virtual bank characteristics (responsiveness, ease of use, economic benefits, and security), and (2) individual characteristics (innovativeness, self-efficacy and Internet experience). On the dependent side, user satisfaction is posited to influence the loyalty via intention to continuous use. PLS analysis of 194 data points collected revealed that economic benefits, security, innovativeness, and Internet experiences are significantly and positively associated with user satisfaction, intention to continuous use and loyalty. Paths among satisfaction and intention towards the loyalty are also validated. Details of results are discussed with practical and academic implications.

현재의 인터넷 기술들은 수십 년 전에 설계된 구조와 프로토콜을 근간으로 점점 늘어나는 사용자들의 요구를 충족시키기 위해 부분적으로 개선하는 방식으로 진행되어왔다. 향후 $1{\sim}20$년 뒤의 미래를 고려한다면 현재 인터넷의 약점들을 극복하는 혁신적인 방식으로 미래 인터넷 구조와 프로토콜들을 재설계할 필요가 있다. 이러한 미래인터넷 기술에 대한 연구는 미국, 유럽, 일본 등 국제적으로 본격적인 활동에 돌입하였으며 국내에서도 2007년 정보통신부 신성장동력사업의 일환으로 미래인터넷 핵심기술 연구 사업이 선정되어 연구기획, 원천기술연구, 표준화 분야 등에서 국제 협력 및 한국의 미래인터넷 연구를 이끌어 나가고 있다. 국제적으로 경쟁력을 가지는 미래인터넷 연구를 위해서는 국제 협력을 기반으로 지속적인 지원 및 실험환경 구축이 필수적이며 미래인터넷 연구 인력의 양성이 뒷받침되어야만 할 것이다.

FCC는 2010년 12월 21일 인터넷의 개방성 유지를 위한 고시(Order)를 발표하였다. 2005년에 FCC가 망중립성 4원칙을 발표한 이래 5년에 걸친 노력 끝에 최종적으로 법적 효력을 갖는 고시 제정에 이르게 된 것이다. FCC는 인터넷의 개방성 확보가 소비자 선택권, 표현의 자유 및 이용자의 통제권 보장에 필수적이며, 경쟁 촉진 및 자유로운 혁신 환경 조성을 가능케 하는 원동력이라 판단하고 있다. 본 고에서는 FCC의 인터넷 개방성 유지를 위한 고시 제정 배경, 고시에 포함된 주요 규칙(Rules)의 세부 내용과 의의, 고시 제정에 따른 영향 및 향후 전망 등을 제시하고자 한다.
