Analysis of Addiction Risk Factors in the Internet Softwares Used by Elementary School Students (초등학생이 사용하는 인터넷 소프트웨어의 중독위험요소 분석)

  • There are lots of studies going on about internet addiction in a point of view of psychology and sociology. The purpose of this paper is to examine the relation between the internet addiction and the services and functions of internet softwares in a point of view of developing softwares. For this, the first goal is to see the type of the software that used most by elementary school students addicted to internet, and the second is to examine the risk factors of addiction and their priority orders in the services and functions offered by that kind of software. The results of this paper can give instructive informations to every children who use internet and their parents and teachers and software developers.

English Writing Education based on Internet Tools and Software (인터넷 도구와 소프트웨어 활용 쓰기 학습 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore how effectively can learners improve their written skills in English language classrooms with the application of internet tools and software. First, the study compares and analyzes existing research on English writing and describes research background. Second, the study describes how internet tools can be used effectively in the English writing classrooms. For example, learners pick up vocabulary on the internet bulletin board and create sentences using the vocabulary. Third, the study analyzed changes in learners' in-class attitudes towards software and internet tools using comparative measures of performance. Unlike with offline instrumented classes, the in-class application of diverse software and internet tools such as websites and IRC (Internet Relay Chat) had a major impact on the improvement of learners' writing skills.

  • 과거 인터넷을 사용하지 않는 시스템의 경우 소프트웨어의 안전성과 강건성은 철도, 국방, 우주, 항공, 원자력 등 오류 없이 수행되어야 하는 임베디드 소프트웨어에 국한되어 있었다. 그러나 인터넷의 발전으로 인터넷을 통한 정보의 교류 및 서비스가 증대하면서 소프트웨어의 보안품질은 개인, 사회, 국가 모두에게 정보보호의 중요성을 더욱 강조하고 있다. 특히 오류 없이 수행되어야 하는 고안전성 소프트웨어의 개발 기법은 이제 응용 소프트웨어의 보안강화 활동에 활용 되고 있다. 시큐어 코딩 (Secure Coding)은 방어적 프로그램(Defensive Programming)을 포함하는 개념으로 소프트웨어의 안전성과 보안성을 향상 시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 C 언어의 취약가능성 유발 명령어를 예를 들고 시큐어 코딩 기법을 적용하여 취약한 코드를 개선하였다. 이러한 개선을 통해 보안 취약성 유발 가능한 코드 부분을 손쉽게 수정하여 소프트웨어 보안품질을 개선할 수 있다.

  • 모바일 기기의 급속한 발전과 고성능 콘텐츠 보급으로 모바일 소프트웨어 시장이 발전하고 있다. 유선에서 무선 인터넷으로 무선 인터넷에서 모바일 인터넷으로 환경이 바뀌면서 모바일 소프트웨어의 중요성이 날로 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 모바일 소프트웨어 품질의 질적 향상과 지속적인 평가를 위하여 모바일 소프트웨어 특성을 축출 분석하고 ISO/IEC 9126을 기반으로 품질모델을 제시하였다. 모바일 소프트웨어가 가지고 있는 복합적인 요소들을 평가하기 위한 5가지 외부 특성과 이에 따른 15가지 내부 속성으로 구성된 품질 모델을 다면적 의사결정기법의 하나인 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)기법을 이용하여 관련요소의 주관적인 특성을 객관적으로 평가하였으며 이러한 품질모델은 고품질의 모바일소프트웨어를 개발하고 평가 하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The rapid development of IoT leads new kinds of services which does not existed. And, it requires several changes on existing network. Software Defined Network is one of the future network technology which can deal with problems from these kinds of changes. The strong point of Software Defined Network is flexibility and scalability. However, In some cases, these factors could be the security vulnerabilities. In this paper, we present adaptation of F(I)MEA technique for the security analysis on Software Defined Network Technology for IoT services.

  • Internet telephony is an Internet service which supports voice telephone using VoIP technology on the IP-based Internet. It has some advantages in that voice telephone services can be accompanied with multimedia services such as video communication and messaging services. Recently, the introduction of smart phones has led to a growth in social networking services and thus, the research and development of Internet telephony has been actively progressed and has the potential to become a replacement for the telephone service that is currently being used. In this paper we designed and implemented an Internet telephony network system which is developed by using Asterisk and open source softwares. It is developed on the linux system and has some features such as VoIP telephony service between SIP phones, voice mail, and call recording. It also supports web-based functions such as SIP users and server system management that is implemented by Apache web server and PHP programs. Afterwards, this system will be applied as VoIP network base technology for small sized companies and organizations. It will paly a role for encouraging companies to use open source softwares.

  • The surrounding environments in which we live are changing from time to time due to the influence of ICT. At the heart of this change is not only the industrial sector, but it appears in most areas of everyday life. At the center of information and communication technology are software, intelligence, and sensing technology. The government and related organizations are promoting policies to foster various software, and with these policies, the software-related industry is steadily developing. There are positive aspects about software development, but also negative ones. The problems of duplication and progress due to software development have been increasing as the software industry has increased in quantity. In this study, we proposed a more objective method based on software engineering as a solution to problems when problems related to development progress occurred during the software development process.

  • We study the dynamic geometry software suitable for the Internet Environment. First, we look into the necessity of dynamic geometry software and compare the functions and the features of commercial softwares, GSP, Cabri and Cinderella. Secondly, we introduce the process of development and the structure of the new software DRC(Digital Ruler and Compass) designed by authors and discuss the learning program with DRC and Internet, and view the upgrade of the software in the future.

Development of Metrics to Measure Reusability of Services of IoT Software

  • Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which provides services by connecting various objects in the real world and objects in the virtual world based on the Internet, is emerging as a technology that enables a hyper-connected society in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Since IoT technology is a convergence technology that encompasses devices, networks, platforms, and services, various studies are being conducted. Among these studies, studies on measures that can measure service quality provided by IoT software are still insufficient. IoT software has hardware parts of the Internet of Things, technologies based on them, features of embedded software, and network features. These features are used as elements defining IoT software quality measurement metrics. However, these features are considered in the metrics related to IoT software quality measurement so far. Therefore, this paper presents a metric for reusability measurement among various quality factors of IoT software in consideration of these factors. In particular, since IoT software is used through IoT devices, services in IoT software must be designed to be changed, replaced, or expanded, and metrics that can measure this are very necessary. In this paper, we propose three metrics: changeability, replaceability, and scalability that can measure and evaluate the reusability of IoT software services were presented, and the metrics presented through case studies were verified. It is expected that the service quality verification of IoT software will be carried out through the metrics presented in this paper, thereby contributing to the improvement of users' service satisfaction.
