최근 인터넷 서비스의 폭발적인 증가로 기존에 사용하고 있던 통신망은 용량과 속도 등에서 한계에 부딪치며 개별 사용자가 이용하는 서비스 품질이 점점 나빠지고 있다 실시간 인터넷 서비스의 등장은 이러한 상황을 더욱 악화시켜 새로운 고속의 통신망 하부구조를 도입하여 이를 해결하려는 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위한 인터넷 연동기술에 대한 발전 추이와 ATM망 기반의 초고속 정보통신망 환경에서 ATM 망과 인터넷간의 실시간 인터넷 서비스를 제공하기 위한 연동장치인 Eagis의 구조와 기능을 소개한다. 또한 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하기 위한 Eagis의 서비스 브로커 기능 중에서 통합 Navigation Agent에 대한 기능과 설계를 제안한다.

인터넷의 활성화로 많은 사람들이 인터넷을 이용하고 이에 따라 인터넷을 이용한 서비스도 홍수를 이루고 있다. 이에 따라 인터넷을 상업적 목적으로 사용하는 서비스도 증가하고 있다. 그러나 많은 인터넷 서비스들이 고객들에게 획일적이고 일률적인 서비스만을 제공한다. 각각의 고객에게 취향과 관심분야에 따른 차별화 된 서비스가 필요로 한다. 각 고객에게 1대 1로 차별화 된 service를 제공하기 위해서 먼저 각 고객을 구별하고 그 고객의 취향과 관심분야의 파악을 위해서 인터넷에서의 행동을 관찰한다. 또한 고객의 관리를 위해 고객을 필요에 따라 그룹화하고, 고객과 직접 접촉을 통해 고객 정보를 파악할 수도 있다. 파악된 고객 정보의 효율적 저장과 분석을 위해서 decision tree를 이용해 학습을 한다. 고객의 행동의 특성상 incremental한 학습 알고리즘을 사용하며 고객의 선호도를 이용한 decision tree를 이용한다. 학습된 결과를 이용해서 1대 1 서비스를 제공함으로써 고객에서 편리성을 제공하고 서비스에 대한 친밀감과 고객의 흥미를 유발할 수 있다.

IPTV, 인터넷 전화 등 인터넷 가입자에게 제공되는 서비스가 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 서비스 종류의 증가와 동시에 통신 사업자가 제공하는 네트워크 속도의 향상에도 불구하고 서비스 사용자의 불만이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 불만의 원인은 인터넷을 이용하는 모든 서비스가 네트워크 자원을 공유하기 때문에 특정 서비스의 품질을 확보하지 못하는 현상의 발생에 기인한다. 따라서 인터넷 사업자의 입장에서는 인터넷을 이용하여 다양한 서비스가 이루어지지만, 해당 서비스의 품질을 확보하는 것이 중요한 과제로 등장하였다. 본 논문에서는 IPTV 서비스 환경과 유사한 실험망 환경을 구축하고, HD급 영상 데이터를 멀티캐스트스트리밍 방송 서비스를 통해 네트워크상에서 트래픽 부하에 따른 IPTV 수신영상품 질의 변화를 살펴보고, 영상품질에 따른 네트워크 측정요소의 임계치를 도출한다.

2.3GHz 대역을 활용하는 초고속 무선 인터넷 서비스는 국가적으로 미래 통신인프라의 방향을 제시한다는 점에서 현재 크게 관심을 갖게 하는 서비스이다. 휴대 인터넷 서비스는 무선랜과 이동통신 무선 서비스를 보완하는 서비스로써 높은 주파수 효율을 가지고 있으며 저렴한 가격으로, 이동 중에도 $1{\sim}4Mbps$의 빠른 속도를 지원할 수가 있는 서비스를 제공한다. 또한 간단한 망 구조로 투자비를 낮출 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 초고속 휴대인터넷 서비스에 대하여 개괄하고, 휴대인터넷 서비스의 종류와 현재 동향 그리고 LG 전자에서 설치한 어레이콤사의 i-Burst시스템의 특징 및 장점을 고찰하고 향후 발전 방향을 알아본다.

최근 유무선 인터넷의 급성장과 유비쿼터스라는 용어의 등장으로 새로운 인터넷 비즈니스 모델에 많은 관심을 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경을 수반한 유. 무선 인터넷 비즈니스 모델 분야 중 실시간 여행정보 서비스 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 기존의 여행정보 서비스는 각 시,도 구청에서 운영하고 있는 관광안내소에서의 인적 서비스, 책이나 팜플렛 등에 의한 문헌정보 서비스, 인터넷 홈페이지를 통한 웹 서비스로 분류되어 있다. 그러나 이러한 여행정보들을 이용하려면 사용자가 스스로 여행안내 책자나 인터넷에 접속하여 자신에 맞는 정보를 스스로 검색하여야 하므로 실시간 여행정보를 받아보기란 어려웠다. 본 논문에서 제안하고자 하는 실시간 여행정보 서비스 시스템은 기존 여행정보 서비스의 문제점을 보안하고 통합하여 사용자의 요건에 맞는 여행정보를 정확한 시간, 정확한 장소로 실시간 서비스 해 주는 것을 목적으로 한다.

21세기에 접어들면서 통신서비스의 새로운 조류는 단연 "Convergence"이다. 기존의 서비스들은 개개의 서비스 매체에 따른 개별망을 통해 제공되어왔으나, 광대역 인터넷의 대중화로 인해 IP 기반으로 발전하고 있으며, 궁극적으로는 가입자 단말기, 유무선 액세스망, 서비스 핵심망, 서비스 플랫폼이 IP기반으로 발전될 전망이다. 이러한 통신 패러다임의 변화에 따라, 급변하는 통신환경의 변화에 적응하고 보다 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 하나의 공통된 Network하에 제공하고자 하는 움직임이 Broadband Convergency Network(BCN : 이하 BCN)이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 궁극적인 광대역 통합망을 통한 멀터미디어 서비스 제공의 시발점은 광대역 IP망을 통한 음성 및 데이터 통합 서비스(이하 인터넷전화)라 볼 수 있으며 인터넷전화와 BCN은 분리시켜 생각할 수 없는 이유 중의 하나이다. 그러면 "인터넷전화로 시작되는 BCN은 사업자 및 이용자측면에서 어떠한 의미를 갖는가\ulcorner"를 살펴보기로 한다.(중략)

This study aims at the fundamental factors needed to make the policy for internet reference service of public records were presented, considering the methods for improvement of internet reference service of national assembly records. For this purpose, reference service theory of recorded informations and examples of foreign congress reference services were analyzed. From the result of analysis, three tasks were proposed as an improvement plan for internet reference services of national assembly records: establishment of access policy, improvement of reference service programs, and activation of communication with users.

We are looking at the two different kinds of IT on this paper. One is VoIP and the other is VR (voice recognition). We are more interesting at the evolving techniques and services produced by combining the two techniques mentioned above. Recently, there are so many services and products appeared in the market using voice recognition technique. Now the technique has progressed on the level that can even replace the user interfaces using the QUI or general DTMF. Therefore, we are expecting so many various new services showed UP In the market which is combination of the VoIP and VR. Up until now, three models are available in the field which are wired telephone, wireless telephone, and wireless internet. We know the effectiveness of the VoIP is maximized more when this technique is combined with others rather than used alone without other techniques.

According to explosive increasing of internet users, efforts and competitions for development of internet industry has been accelerated. In recently the VoIP service is on the rise with the best interesting field among the present internet application services. In this paper, we proposed a desirable VoIP service activation plan in the cases of technic, politcy and so on by considering on VoIP service and current VoIP service problems.

The purpose of the study is to suggest and measure the ways to activate the use of wireless internet services in university libraries. For this, 1 reviewed the concepts and characteristics of wireless internet and investigated both local and foreign cases on wireless internet service of university libraries, library users' usage status, and their demands. Based on the case study and survey results, I suggest the strategic consideration and active publicity of university libraries, the introduction of the services students more prefer, the development of differentiated menus from ordinary wire internet services, and the consistent financial support of the university authority.
