  • ID/Password 방식은 노출 및 예측 공격에 대한 위험성을 안고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 OTP(One time Password)를 인증 시스템에 적용할 수 있다. OTP는 매번 다른 패스워드를 생성하여 사용하는 사용자 인증 방식이다. 전자금융감독규정에 의해 OTP는 인터넷뱅킹, 모바일뱅킹, 텔레뱅킹 등 전자 금융 거래 시 보안카드를 대체하는 1등급 보안매체로 지정되었지만 OTP 단말기는 배포 및 사용의 편의성의 문제로 대중화의 어려움과 동기화 실패의 문제점이 존재하게 된다. 본 논문은 통신 기술의 발달로 현재 많이 대중화되어 있고 하나의 개인 컴퓨터와 같이 정보를 저장하고 연산이 가능한 Mobile 장치를 이용하여 HOTP기반의 OTP를 생성하여 사용자 인증을 제공함으로써 OTP 단말기의 배포 및 편의성의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방식을 제한한다.

  • 인터넷의 확산에 따라 온라인 뱅킹, 온라인 경매, 메신저 등과 같이 이전에는 상상할 수 없었던 사이버스페이스상의 서비스가 활성화되고 있으며, 사용자들은 다양한 서비스를 이용하기 위해 개인 정보를 제공하고 사용해야 한다. 그러나 이런 유/무선 통합 환경에 적합한 본인확인 정보의 관리 부재 및 오남용으로 많은 문제가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 본인 인증기술, 그 중에서도 모바일 환경에서의 인증 기술 및 적용 현황에 대해서 분석한다.

An Exploratory Study on Consumer Behavior of Digital Banking Deposits: Focusing on Bank Loyal Customers (디지털 뱅킹 정기예금의 소비자 행동 실태에 관한 탐색적 연구 -은행 충성고객을 중심으로-)

  • The digital transformation of finance is accelerating, and digital banking has already become a major banking channel. Banks have traditionally placed importance on CRM(Customer Relationship Management) and have tried to retain their loyal customers, who contribute significantly to the bank, such as long-term transactions, holding accounts with a certain balance or more, and holding loans. In this situation, this study exploratorily analyzed the consumer behavior of digital banking deposits in a major bank of Korea(1,145 samples). Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS. The main findings of the study are summarized as follows. It was found that there were differences of consumer behavior in digital banking deposits by generation, and the MZ generation used digital banking more on holidays than other generations. As a result of analyzing the behavior of existing loyal customers and regular customers of digital banking deposit, there was a significant difference in both the amount and period of the deposit. It was confirmed that the existing loyal customers of the bank also engage in consumer behavior that contributes to the bank in digital banking. In addition, the interaction between the customer type and the date of sign up for the deposit period, which is the goal setting of financial consumers, it was found that there was a significant effect. This study empirically analyzed the consumer behavior of digital banking in a situation where decrease of bank branches and encounters with digital banking. The major concepts of the consumer behavior theory are Loyal Customer, Goal Pursuit, and Habit, which were confirmed in an example of digital banking. The results of this study can suggest practical implications for existing banks and Internet-only banks, including the importance of customer management in digital banking.

인터넷 전문은행의 국내도입에 관한 연구

  • 정보기술의 발전은 전통적인 개념의 은행산업 구조에도 변화를 주고 있다. 인터넷을 주요 영업채널로 하는 인터넷 전문은행의 출현도 그 중의 한 예이다. 오프라인 지점 없이 은행자체가 온라인에만 존재하는 인터넷 전문은행은 세계적으로 100개 가까이 영업 중에 있으며, 많은 은행들이 도입초기 적자에서 벗어나 최근 몇 년을 기준으로 흑자를 달성하고 있다. 우리나라에서는 여러 가지 이유로 인하여 도입이 유보되고 있지만 지난 2002년에는 SK텔레콤 컨소시엄을 중심으로 V뱅크라는 인터넷 전문은행의 추진이 있었고, 2007년 2월부터 HSBC에서 유사한 형태의 다이렉트뱅킹서비스를 선보이는 등 도입 움직임이 가시화 되고 있다. 지금까지 발표된 연구자료들은 해외사례와 함께 우리나라의 인터넷 전문은행 도입 필요성을 언급하면서 제도개선 측면을 많이 강조하였다. 인터넷 전문은행 도입에 장애가 되는 각종 법규제를 완화하고 활성화를 위한 환경을 조성해야 한다는 주장이나, 아직까지 관련 조치는 이루지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미국 EU와의 FTA, 자본시장통합법 등 급변하는 금융환경에서 외국의 인터넷 전업은행이 국내에 진출할 경우, 또는 비은행 기관들의 진출에 의한 시장영향 등을 고려하여 현행 제도하에서 국내 환경에 맞는 도입방안을 시장방어적인 측면에서 생각해 보고자 한다.

  • With the advancement of internet and mobile communication devices, mobile banking such as internet banking, internet loan and smart phones related to the people's economic activities using mobile communication devices is becoming increasingly more popular. Various security systems to prevent such new crimes are being introduced and the security system market is anticipated to continuously increase substantially in the future. Accordingly, qualitative advancement of the security systems are also in continuous demand. Therefore, this thesis proposes the method and system for quality evaluation of the network access control system by proposing testing and evaluating method for the relevant system through surveying and analyzing the tend in the foundation technologies and standards in the area of network access control system, which is one of the security systems, in order to cope with the demands for the evaluation of the quality of the security system as the security system product market is anticipated to grow continuously.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference of performance between banks with electronic-based banking service and banks without electronic-based banking service in Korea. The performance indicators we use are DEA efficiency and profitability such as NI, ROA and ROE. The findings are that the performance of bank with electronic banking service are significantly different from that of bank without electronic banking service in DEA efficiency, financial efficiency(cost and revenue) and profitability. But there are some differences among the type of electronic-based service channel that banks provide. The banking channels comprise two major groups: the traditional channels and e-channels. E-channels provide cost-saving for banks and their clients. Among them, only card-related ATM significantly affects the profitability of banks in the positive direction, and technical efficiency also affects the bank's profitability. But the others do not affect.

  • Electronic payment system using Internet banking is a very important application for users of e-commerce environment. With rapidly growing use of fintech applications, the risk and damage caused by malicious hacking or identity theft are getting significant. To prevent the damage, fraud detection system (FDS) calculates the risk of the electronic payment transactions using user profiles including types of goods, device status, user location, and so on. In this paper, we propose a new risk calculation method using relative location of users such as SSID of wireless LAN AP and MAC address. Those relative location information are more difficult to imitate or copy compared with conventional physical location information like nation, GPS coordinates, or IP address. The new method using relative location and cumulative user characteristics will enable stronger risk calculation function to FDS and thus give enhanced security to electronic payment systems.

  • Fostering trusting belief in financial transactions is a challenging task in Internet banking services. Authenticated Certificate had been regarded as an effective method to guarantee the trusting belief for online transactions. However, previous research claimed that this method has some loopholes for such abusers as hackers, who intend to attack the financial accounts of innocent transactors in Internet. Two types of methods have been suggested as alternatives for securing user identification and activity in online financial services. Control transparency uses information over the transaction process to verify and to control the transactions. Outcome feedback, which refers to the specific information about exchange outcomes, provides information over final transaction results. By using these two methods, financial service providers can send signals to involved parties about the robustness of their security mechanisms. These two methods-control transparency and outcome feedback-have been widely used in the IS field to enhance the quality of IS services. In this research, we intend to verify that these two methods can also be used to reduce risks and to increase the security protections in online banking services. The purpose of this paper is to empirically test the effects of the control transparency and the outcome feedback on the risk perceptions in Internet banking services. Our assumption is that these two methods-control transparency and outcome feedback-can reduce perceived risks involved with online financial transactions, while increasing perceived trust over financial service providers. These changes in user attitudes can increase the level of user satisfactions, which may lead to the increased user loyalty as well as users' willingness to pay for the financial transactions. Previous research in IS suggested that the increased level of transparency on the process and the result of transactions can enhance the information quality and decision quality of IS users. Transparency helps IS users to acquire the information needed to control the transaction counterpart and thus to complete transaction successfully. It is also argued that transparency can reduce the perceived transaction risks in IS usage. Many IS researchers also argued that the trust can be generated by the institutional mechanisms. Trusting belief refers to the truster's belief for the trustee to have attributes for being beneficial to the truster. Institution-based trust plays an important role to enhance the probability of achieving a successful outcome. When a transactor regards the conditions crucial for the transaction success, he or she considers the condition providers as trustful, and thus eventually trust the others involved with such condition providers. In this process, transparency helps the transactor complete the transaction successfully. Through the investigation of these studies, we expect that the control transparency and outcome feedback can reduce the risk perception on transaction and enhance the trust with the service provider. Based on a theoretical framework of transparency and institution-based trust, we propose and test a research model by evaluating research hypotheses. We have conducted a laboratory experiment in order to validate our research model. Since the transparency artifact(control transparency and outcome feedback) is not yet adopted in online banking services, the general survey method could not be employed to verify our research model. We collected data from 138 experiment subjects who had experiences with online banking services. PLS is used to analyze the experiment data. The measurement model confirms that our data set has appropriate convergent and discriminant validity. The results of testing the structural model indicate that control transparency significantly enhances the trust and significantly reduces the risk perception of online banking users. The result also suggested that the outcome feedback significantly enhances the trust of users. We have found that the reduced risk and the increased trust level significantly improve the level of service satisfaction. The increased satisfaction finally leads to the increased loyalty and willingness to pay for the financial services.

  • The purposes of this study are following. First, we want to review the relationship between trust and precedent variables including shared value, communication and opportunistic behavior in the on-line and off-line channel. Second, building the relationship among variables from previous research, we develop the research model. Third, based on the empirical analysis, we want to build the relationship among variables. Fourth, based on results of analysis, we want to elicit implications for marketing management from the trust in on-line channel in order to enhance the relationship commitment and customer loyalty. Theoretical implications of this study are following. First, under the multiple channel retailing environment, trust in on-line channel is influenced by the trust in off-line channel that the company is operating. Previous researches couldn't found this result because these researches divided on-line and off-line channel separatedly, Second, under the multiple channel retailing environment, on-line or off-line relational attributes including shared value, opportunistic behavior and communication have a effect on trust or relationship commitment So, shared value, opportunistic behavior and communication are very important variables having a effect on trust and relationship commitment in not only off-line channel but also on-line channel. Third, trust and relationship commitment were important mediate variables in multiple channel environment. This result goes with previous researches in single channel.

  • 인터넷은 컴퓨터와 네트워크의 가상공간을 통하여 그 개방성과 뛰어난 확장성으로 전자상거래의 기본수단이 되고 있으며 경이로운 발전을 거듭하고 있다. 이에 따라 현재 전세계는 전자상거래가 폭발적으로 성장하는 시기를 맞이하고 있다. 일본에서도 최근 일본정부가 2005년까지 초고속인터넷을 3000만 가구에 보급할 계획을 세우고 있는 등 인터넷의 고속화가 빠르게 진전되고 있고, 이용자의 인터넷 접속요금도 저가격화로 변화함에 따라 전자상거래 이용지도 급속도로 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 그리고 TV를 이용한 게임기나 인터넷 전용머신이라는 컴퓨터 이외의 디지털기기로 인터넷을 이용하는 등 전자상거래 이용수단도 다양화될 것이며, 또한 디지털 텔레비전과의 제휴를 통하여 디지털데이터방송을 활용한 전자상거래도 활발히 이루어질 전망이다. 이에 따라 일본의 전자상거래시장의 급속한 성장과 함께 결제수단도 다양화되고 있다. 전자상거래의 결제수단으로서는 현금, 우편환, 은행입금, 수표 외 전자상거래의 특유의 결제수단이라고 할 수 있는 전자화폐, 인터넷뱅킹, E-Debit 등이 있다. 이 가운데 전자화폐는 일반적으로 유통성, 양도가능성, 범용성, 익명성 등 현금이 가지고 있는 기능을 갖추고 있을 뿐만 아니라 원격지송금성, 수송상의 비용절감, 금액의 분할 및 통합의 유연성, 전자성 등의 특징을 갖고 있으며 현금의 단점을 보완하는 기능도 있기 때문에, 앞으로 신용카드를 대체하는 차세대 전자결제수단으로 등장할 것이 확실시된다. 따라서 본고에서는 현재 일본 내의 다양한 주체들에 의하여 개발 실험되고 있는 전자화폐에 의한 결제시스템을 개관함으로써 우리나라에서도 일본과 같은 다양한 전자화폐에 의한 결제시스템의 개발 실험 도입이 절실함을 제안하였다.
