A Comparison of the Freshmen's Cognitive Frame about the 'Crisis of Earth' ('위기의 지구'에 대한 인지프레임 비교: 대학교 신입생들 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare of freshmen's cognitive frames about the 'Crisis of the Earth' upon taking the Earth science I course in high school to confirm if they reflect the goal of the curriculum reasonably. Data were collected from 67 freshmen who graduated from high school. All participants were asked to express about the 'Crisis of the Earth' in painting with explanation, then we picked meaningful units from paintings. We analyzed the words and frames presented in the paintings using the Semantic Network Analysis. Result are as follows. First, when both groups' (one that took the course vs. the other that did not take it) built their cognitive frames for the 'crisis of the Earth', they reasonably connected areas that are composed of the global environment and they understood that their relation was constantly changing by interacting each other. Second, when configuring a cognitive frame about the 'crisis of the Earth', both groups reflected the characteristics of interrelationship with human activities. In particular, the group that took the course of Earth Science I fully reflected the goal of the curriculum. It is suggested that students recognize the 'crisis of the Earth' not only from a cosmic perspective bot also from the Earth's interior since most of students have strongly connected it to the phenomenon of the Earth's interior rather than the Earth's outward symptoms. In addition, it is recommended that the Earth science curriculum put more emphasis on understanding the importance of problem-solving of the Earth's crisis.

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis the cognitive frame of the expert on musically talented in the Pop music audition program. Consequently, this article found that each expert has difference priority. Myself(PA), voice(YA), tune(YO) are used frequently. In comparison with standard frame, all experts refer to creative area in priority. But, they lack in motive area. Also, there are areas which don't treat in standard frame. And to conclude, pop music audition program has creative and personal characteristic. If not, it doesn't give prominence to differentiated messages and last in the global market. Based on the result of this study, this paper suggests the following: Firstly, it needs devices that support areas which fall short of selection. Secondly, it requires new frame which modifies the details of standard frame.

  • 선박운항을 위해 선원들이 수행하는 인지작업은 다양한 요인에 의해 영향을 받는다. 개인의 능력 뿐만 아니라, 주어진 작업, 항해장비, 해양환경 그리고 조직의 특성/문화와 관련 제 규정 등이 밀접한 연관관계를 갖고 있으며 이러한 요인들이 선원의 인지작업에 영향을 주고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 복잡한 요인들을 고려하면서, 선원들을 인지작업을 분석할 수 있는 인지작업분석 프레임�p을 개발하였다.

Characteristics of High School Students' and Science Teachers' Cognitive Frame about Effective Teaching Method for High School Science Subject (고등학교 과학 교과의 효과적인 수업 방법에 대한 고등학생과 과학교사들의 인지프레임 특성)

  • We investigated the cognitive frame of high school students and inservice high school science teachers about effective teaching method, and we also explored how they understood about the teaching methods suggested by the 2009 revised Science Curriculum. Data were collected from 275 high school science teachers and 275 high school students. We analyzed data in terms of the words and the cognitive frame using the Semantic Network Analysis. The results were as follows. First, the teachers perceived that an activity oriented class was the effective science class that helped improve students' problem-solving abilities and their inquiry skills. The students had the cognitive frame that their teacher had to present relevant and enough teaching materials to students, and that they should also receive assistance from teachers in science class to better prepare for college entrance exam. Second, both students and teachers retained the cognitive frame about the efficient science class that was not reflected 2009 revised Science Curriculum exactly. Especially, neither groups connected the elements of 'convergence' as well as 'integration' embedded across science subject areas to their cognitive frame nor cognized the fact that many science learning contents were closed related to one another. Therefore, various professional development opportunities should be offered so that teachers succinctly comprehend the essential features and the intents of the 2009 revised Science Curriculum and thereby implement it in their science lessons effectively.

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트 홈과 홈 자동화 시스템을 위한 개인화된 헬스케어 서비스를 자동으로 선택하여 제공하기 위한 온톨로지 기술 및 OSGi 플랫폼 기반의 스마트 홈 상황 인지 서비스를 제안한다. OSGi와 같은 표준 프레임워크와 온톨로지와 같은 정교한 모델링 기술의 채택은 단순한 홈 자동화를 뛰어 넘어 가정 내에서의 추론 기반 지식 정보를 통해 헬스케어와 같은 개인화 서비스를 가능하게 해준다. 이를 위해 정보가전 기기와 RFID 및 센서 기기들로 구성되는 유비쿼터스 홈 네트워크 테스트 베드를 구축하고, 구축된 테스트 베드 상에서 상황 인지 개인화 서비스를 제공하는 프레임워크를 구현한다.

Optimal Frame Length Control for Throughput Enhancement in Cognitive Radio Systems (인지 무선 시스템에서 전송률 향상을 위한 최적의 프레임 길이 제어 방법)

  • We propose a new frame length control scheme for cognitive radio systems. In the proposed algorithm, the property that the probability of a primary packet arrival continually increases as time elapses during the primary user's idle period is utilized. When reducing the secondary frame length in accordance with the increasing primary packet arrival probability, spectrum sensing is conducted more frequently as time elapses and the primary packet arrival is detected more quickly. We obtain the optimal frame lengths by maximizing the secondary throughput while satisfying the interference constraint. Numerical results show a significant throughput enhancement via the frame length control.

  • The aim of this paper is to develop a framework of weather information services which is for processing contents and providing proper contents to new-media such as outdoor electronic display, DID (digital information display), and terrestrial multi-channel broadcasting, etc. By introducing the analysis of media use and perception science of human intelligence, the contents producing method to improve recognizing rate for weather information is provide and the layered framework of weather information services for new-media is designed. It integrates many different services to the framework. It can prevent duplicate investment for services and serve a major momentum to technical progress.

  • 강인성을 포함한 비인지성(imperceptibility)과 계산량(complexity)은 비디오 워터마킹 시스템에 있어서 중요한 항목으로, 이러한 항목은 워터마킹 시스템의 설계시 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 적절한 비인지성과 계산량을 제공하기 위해 3개의 연속된 프레임을 이용하는 비디오 워터마킹 시스템을 제안한다. 특히, 워터마크를 삽입할 영역 R을 3개의 프레임 f(t), f(t+1), f(t+2)로부터 구성하고, 워터마크를 구성된 영역 R의 DCT 계수들에 삽입한다. 제안 방식은 프레임 간의 특징을 이용 워터마킹 삽입 영역 R을 구성함으로써, 좋은 화질을 제공함과 동시에 MPEG-2 압축 및 프레임 공격에 대한 강인성을 제공함을 실험에 의해 확인한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to design an instructional framework and cognitive learning environment for AI education based on computational thinking in order to ground the theoretical rationale for AI education. Based on the literature review, the learning model is proposed to select the algorithms and problem-solving models through the abstraction process at the stage of data collection and discovery. Meanwhile, the instructional model of AI education through computational thinking is suggested to enhance the problem-solving ability using the AI by performing the processes of problem-solving and prediction based on the stages of automating and evaluating the selected algorithms. By analyzing the research related to the cognitive learning environment for AI education, the instructional framework was composed mainly of abstraction which is the core thinking process of computational thinking through the transition from the stage of the agency to modeling. The instructional framework of AI education and the process of constructing the cognitive learning environment presented in this study are characterized in that they are based on computational thinking, and those are expected to be the basis of further research for the instructional design of AI education.

  • 비디오 프레임 오류는 스트리밍 클라이언트에서 프레임을 표출할 때 정상적인 영상이 아닌 손상된 프레임이 표출되는 현상이다. 프레임 오류가 발생하는 빈도는 높지 않지만 긴급하거나 중요한 상황에서 발생한다면 업무에 지장을 초래할 수도 있으므로 신속한 대처가 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 또한 프레임 오류를 인지하고 해결하기 위해서는 인간의 개입이 불가피하지만 사용자가 24시간 스크린을 모니터링 하는 것은 사실상 불가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전이학습을 이용하여 스트리밍 클라이언트에서 비디오 프레임 오류가 발생하는 것을 자동으로 감지하는 모델을 제안한다.
