Coworker Social Loafing and Knowledge Sharing: The Moderating Role of Gender Effects (동료의 사회적 태만과 지식 공유: 성별의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study examined the peer and gender effects in knowledge-sharing behavior. More specifically, this paper examined how coworker social loafing is related to knowledge sharing and how gender differences moderate the relationship between coworker social loafing and knowledge-sharing behavior. Drawing on economic and social exchange theory, this study predicts that coworker social loafing will decrease the knowledge-sharing behavior. In addition, this paper hypothesized that men will be more likely to withdraw knowledge-sharing behavior than women when they faced coworker social loafing. To test these hypotheses, this paper conducted a hierarchical regression test with the supervisor-employee dyad samples. The empirical results showed that in the relationship between coworker social loafing and knowledge-sharing behavior, coworker social loafing decreased the knowledge-sharing behavior, and the negative effect was larger in the case of men rather than women. In the discussion section, this paper proposes the theoretical and practical implications based on theoretical arguments and empirical findings.

Education for Sustainable Development within School Geography: A Proposed Model (학교 지리에서 지속가능발전 교육: 모델 구안)

  • The purpose of this research is to propose a model for education for sustainable development (ESD) within the geography curriculum. The study consists of two parts. The first part discusses the normal view of a model to assess the curriculum, namely the content and the cognitive dimensions. The ESD component necessitates an action program with skills and citizenship considered as the Objective Dimension. The second part of the paper examines the means for adding the Objective Dimension which follows a taking action approach through knowledge, skills, and citizenship that are consistent with ESD goals. The research procedure applied the methodology of the Delphi process. The theoretical model was initially developed by the researchers based on current practices in geography assessment in South Korea and the U.S. The model was tested using the Delphi technique by high school geography teachers and geography education faculty members in both countries who were recognized experts in their field. The research complements the curriculum and instructional activities that have been under way with the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (UNDESD). The model may be used to deliberate proposals for building an ESD component into existing assessment practices.

A Study on Relationship among Recognized by Tourism Gentrification and Urban Image (지역거주민의 지각하는 관광 젠트리피케이션과 도시이미지간의 관계 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between physical factors, economic factors, and cultural factors of tourism gentrification (TG) in urban areas. Based on the results of an empirical analysis, we provide the basic theory and practical implications of the relationship between tourism phenomena and city image. This study used a questionnaire for residents of the Jeju area. From September 1, 2018, to October 3, 2018, the survey was conducted in Nuemori Street, Yeongdong Street, Gucheong Eup, and Moon Town. Thus, we use 479 samples for analysis out of 500 samples obtained. This study produced two important results. First, the physical, economic, and cultural factors of tourism gentrification have significant effects on cognitive image and emotional image. Second, economic factors have statistical significance in cognitive image and emotional image. These results and implications can be useful for practical implications of the theoretical implications of tourism gentrification and regional specialization promotion policies. In addition, from the economic point of view, what should be considered is that development-centered area development can have a negative impact on urban image. Despite these research results, there are limitations in the research, such as cross-sectional studies and short-term studies, and we look forward to a longitudinal study in the future from a long-term perspective.

Brain Activation During False-Belief Task Performance in Korean Healthy Adults: An fMRI Study (한국 정상 성인의 틀린 믿음 과제 수행 시의 뇌 활성화: fMRI 연구)

  • We applied fMRI to examine brain activation during false-belief task in Korean healthy adults. In the first experiment, brain areas including bilateral precuneus, temoporo-parietal junction, left inferior parietal lobule, posterior cingulate, middle frontal gyrus were found during first -order false-belief task. In the second experiment, the left middle frontal gyrus, medial frontal gyrus and right precuneus, middle frontal gyrus, temoporo-parietal junction were activated during second-order false-belief task. These results are compatible with the suggestions that the ways in which adults understand theory of mind stories are universal.

  • 국제적으로 관심이 증가되고 있는 지구 온난화와 환경문제는 제조업체, 유통업체, 서비스업체 뿐만 아니라 교육현장에 있어서도 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 창의성 증진에 대한 기대로 성장하고 있는 로봇교육은 OECD 및 EU 국가정부의 환경영향 카테고리인 유독성, 비에너지 자원고갈의 문제와 연결된다. 본 논문에서는 r-Learning을 위한 교구로봇교육에서 환경이슈를 고려하는 미래지향적 Green UCR(User Created Robots)에 대한 이론적 개념을 정립하고자 한다. 그리고 교과부에서는 '친환경 그린스쿨 조성사업'을 추진하고 있는데, 창의성 증진뿐만 아니라 환경보호에 대한 인지적 교육 효과가 매우 큰 초등학교의 Green 로봇교육은 제대로 조명받고 있지 못하는 실정이다. 이에 국내외 Green 로봇 제품 및 교육 현황을 살펴보고, 국내의 초등 방과후학교 로봇교실에서의 연간 전국 건전지 사용실태 추정수치와 교사의 Green UCR에 대한 이슈를 조사하여 제시하고자 한다. 마지막으로 이를 토대로 업체, 교육기관, 정부를 위한 그린 UCR 교육 서비스를 위한 가이드라인을 제시한다.

Structural Equation Modeling Intention of Revision Facial Cosmetic Surgery in Female College Students (여대생의 얼굴미용성형 재수술 의도 구조모형)

  • The purpose of this study was to construct a hypothetic model for the influential theoretical variables for the facial cosmetic resurgery intention of female college students with cosmetic surgery experience and to examine the compatability of the re-surgery intention model with real data. The subjects in this study were 320 selected female college students who had undergone cosmetic surgery. After a survey was conducted from July 15 to September 20, 2014, the answer sheets from 300 respondents were gathered, and the answer sheets from 295 respondents were analyzed except for the five ones that included uncertain answers. As a result, it's ascertained that cognitive dissonance was under the direct influence of post-surgery satisfaction with appearance, self-esteem, subjective norm and lookism.. Self-esteem, subjective norm and lookism had a direct impact on resurgery intention, and self-esteem and lookism affected resurgery intention both in direct and indirect ways through the medium of cognitive dissonance. The findings of the study are expected to provide useful information on the development of nursing intervention programs geared toward promoting physical and mental health.

The Event Structure of Korean Unaccusative Verbs (한국어 비대격 동사의 사건구조)

  • 자동사의 두 하위부류, 비대격(unaccusative) 동사와 비능격 (unergative)동사는 Perlmutter(1978)의 비대격 가설 (Unaccusative Hypothesis) 이후 여러 관점에서 활발히 노의 되어왔다. 한국어에서는 사건구조적 측면에서 두 부류가 차이를 보이며, 이런 사실은 인간의 인지작용과 밀접한 관련을 맺는다. 사건구조를 과정(process)사건과 상태(state)로 가정할 때 비능격 동사는 과정사건이, 비대격 동사는 상태사건이 부각된다. 비대격 동사도 두 가지 부류로 나뉠 수 있는데, '도착하다'처럼 과정사건이 언어표현에서 중시되지 않고 결과적인 상태부분만 중요시 되는 유형(unacc_type_1)과 '녹다'처럼 과정사건도 중시되는 사건 구조를 지닌 유형(unacc_type_2)이다. 결국 비대격 동사는 결과상태를 중시하는 사건구조를 중요시 하지만 과정사건의 지각 정도에 따라 다른 양상을 보인다. 한편 비대격 동사는 사동사와도 밀접한 연관 관계를 지닌다. 많은 논의에서 비대격/사동의 교체를 논리적 다의어로 보고 분석을 시도해 왔다. 따라서 사동사를 중심으로 분석한 경우와 비대격 동사를 중심으로 분석한 경우가 있다. 본고에서는 사동분석(causative analysis)은 한국어 기술에는 적절치 않다고 판단한다. 사동분석에서 도입하는 행동주의 사건유발부분이 반드시 비대격 동사의 표현에 필수적인 것은 아니기 때문이다. 끝으로 Pustejovsky(1995)의 생성어휘부(Generative Lexicon) 이론을 한국어에 맞게 확장·수정한 이정민·강범모·남승호(1997)의 모형에 따라 두 가지 유형의 비대격 동사의 어휘 의미구조를 표상한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the contents and process of sexual harassment experience in digital games. We interviewed 12 Female gamers and analyzed their experiences through grounded theory. In the paradigm model, the core phenomenon was psychological confusion and influence. Various causal, contextual and interventional conditions have been identified. The strategies were 'direct and passive action', and 'anger expression'. The consequences were 'decreasing the value of game' and 'negative perception of Korean society and men'.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the cognitive theory of Multimedia learning in a Smart Pad environment. Specifically, the viability of the multimedia principle and individual difference principle was tested for this study. To accomplish this, participants were divided into two groups based on their prior knowledge level (high/low), and members of each group were given one of two Smart Pad based programs, one text-based and the other text and image based. Results indicate that the use of images and the interaction between image use and prior knowledge did not have a significant effect on cognitive load levels. However, there were significant effects on learning achievement. This study implies that when developing Smart Pad based learning content, the small screen size compared to PC monitors, types and functions of images, and learning objectives should be considered.

Effect of Health Belief Factor on Oral Health Related Behavior in Pregnant Woman (임신부의 건강신념요인이 구강건강관련행위에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is conducted with the aim of providing basic data for oral health improvement of pregnant woman and development of oral health education program by analyzing factors influencing the oral health related behavior of pregnant woman applying health belief model which is theoretical model of explaining individual's behavior change. For 217 expectant mothers who visited 8 obstetrics and 1 maternity class located in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon from August 1 to 31, 2014, data analysis was implemented using self-administered questionnaire. Before the completion of self-administered questionnaire, the subjects were fully informed of explanatory note and consented on taking part in the research for the consideration of ethical aspect. Collected materials were treated by PASW Statistics ver. 18.0 program and following results were acquired. Health belief factor which infuences oral health related behavior of pregnant woman resulted that perceived severity influences on oral examination during pregnancy and dental treatment during pregnancy, and perceived benefits influences on oral examination during pregnancy, and perceived barriers on toothbrushing after having a snack, toothbrush with rotation method and oral examination during pregnancy, and self-efficacy influences on use of oral hygiene products after toothbrushing and oral examination during pregnancy. With these research results, I suggest that perceived severity of health belief factor, perceived benefits, perceived barrier and self-efficacy influence oral health related behavior of pregnant woman. And specific oral health education program for pregnant woman is necessary to increase perceived severity of pregnant woman, perceived benefits and self-efficacy and to reduce perceived barriers.
