  • At the current camera-based technology level, sensor-based basic life pattern recognition technology has to suffer inconvenience to obtain accurate data, and commercial band products are difficult to collect accurate data, and cannot take into account the motive, cause, and psychological effect of behavior. the current situation. In this paper, radar technology for life pattern recognition is a technology that measures the distance, speed, and angle with an object by transmitting a waveform designed to detect nearby people or objects in daily life and processing the reflected received signal. It was designed to supplement issues such as privacy protection in the existing image-based service by applying it. For the implementation of the proposed system, based on TI IWR1642 chip, RF chipset control for 60GHz band millimeter wave FMCW transmission/reception, module development for distance/speed/angle detection, and technology including signal processing software were implemented. It is expected that analysis of individual life patterns will be possible by calculating self-management and behavior sequences by extracting personalized life patterns through quantitative analysis of life patterns as meta-analysis of living information in security and safe guards application.

An analysis of emotional English utterances using the prosodic distance between emotional and neutral utterances (영어 감정발화와 중립발화 간의 운율거리를 이용한 감정발화 분석)

  • An analysis of emotional English utterances with 7 emotions (calm, happy, sad, angry, fearful, disgust, surprised) was conducted using the measurement of prosodic distance between 672 emotional and 48 neutral utterances. Applying the technique proposed in the automatic evaluation model of English pronunciation to the present study on emotional utterances, Euclidean distance measurement of 3 prosodic elements such as F0, intensity and duration extracted from emotional and neutral utterances was utilized. This paper, furthermore, extended the analytical methods to include Euclidean distance normalization, z-score and z-score normalization resulting in 4 groups of measurement schemes (sqrF0, sqrINT, sqrDUR; norsqrF0, norsqrINT, norsqrDUR; sqrzF0, sqrzINT, sqrzDUR; norsqrzF0, norsqrzINT, norsqrzDUR). All of the results from perceptual analysis and acoustical analysis of emotional utteances consistently indicated the greater effectiveness of norsqrF0, norsqrINT and norsqrDUR, among 4 groups of measurement schemes, which normalized the Euclidean measurement. The greatest acoustical change of prosodic information influenced by emotion was shown in the values of F0 followed by duration and intensity in descending order according to the effect size based on the estimation of distance between emotional utterances and neutral counterparts.   • This study was to identify HCl design factors for increasing information processing and attention for mentally retarded children. Several factors such as size, location, moving distance were varied for three experiments operated by the amount of information. The results showed that the larger size of target, the greater moving distance of target, and the less amount of information increased mentally retarded children's sensitivity. Also, when the target was displayed at upper left of computer screen, sensitivity of mentally retarded children was high, compared other locations of screen.

  • This paper proposed a new transponder detection method to reduce tag recognition time and simplify anti-collision process in RFID systems. In conventional systems, a transponder in detectable area is passively recognized by responding to a reader command. In addition, if there are multiple tags in the area, a collision between tags occurs by responding at the same time to a command and anti-collision process begins. In the proposed method, tags are actively recognized without any command from a reader which results to reducing a tag recognition time and simplifying anti-collision process. To compare transponder recognition time, the process of transponder recognition in conventional systems is analysed. A circuit to detect transponder directly is developed and antenna voltage variation of a reader in the appearance of multiple transponders is analysed for the implementation of the proposed method.

  • 본 연구에서는 항로표지(aids to navigation) 배치를 효율화하기 위한 정량적인 성능 지수(performance index)를 제시한다. 제안된 성능 지수는 항로표지에 대한 항해자(navigator)의 시각적 인식에 기반하였다. 인지 성능 지수는 시각적 인식의 구성요소로서 관찰자, 환경, 그리고 광원에 해당하는 선박 특성, 해상환경, 그리고 항로표지 특성을 반영하여 모델링되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 효과적으로 항로표지를 배치할 수 있는 수치적 지표를 획득할 수 있을 것으로 판단한다. 향후 항로배치에 대한 현실적 데이터를 바탕으로 제안된 모델링의 유효성을 검증할 계획이다.

A Study on the Benefit of Driving Amenity Based on Highway Density (도로 밀도에 따른 운전쾌적성 편익에 관한 연구)

  • Normally the benefits concerned in the feasibility study for highway constructions are travel time saving, vehicle operation cost, etc. which can be calculated using the simulation tool(EMME3). However, there must be extra benefits of driving amenity improvement that drivers can perceive through decreasing driving fatigue and improving driving comfortability. In this study, the definition of driving amenity was established and a method of estimation for the benefit of driving amenity improvement was developed. Highway type (urban/rural highway) and highway density was considered to estimate the driving amenity. And Double-bounded Dichotomous Choice among Contingent Valuation Method(CVM) was applied to survey the willingness-to-pay of drivers when highway density decreases. Finally the value of driving amenity was estimated using the results of survey and logit medel. As the existing highway density is high, willingness-to-pay increases in both urban and rural highways. Even though the changing rates of highway density are same, willingness-to-pay is different based on the existing highway density.

  • 본 논문은 국소문맥을 사용하여 만들어진 Decision List를 통해 단어의 형태적 중의성을 제거하는 방법을 기술한다. 최초 종자 연어(Seed Collocation)로 1차 Decision List를 만들어 실험 말뭉치에 적용하고 태깅된 결과를 자가 학습하는 반복과정에 의해 Decision List의 수행능력을 향상시킨다. 이 방법은 단어의 형태적 중의성 제거에 일정 거리의 연어가 가장 큰 영향을 끼친다는 직관에 바탕을 두며 사람의 추가적인 교정을 필요로 하지 않는 비교사 방식(대량의 원시 말뭉치에 기반한)에 의해 수행한다. 학습을 통해 얻어진 Decision List는 연세대 형태소 분석기인 MORANY의 형태소 분석 결과에 적용되어 태깅시 성능을 향상시킨다. 실험 말뭉치에 있는 중의성을 가진 12개의 단어들에 본 알고리즘을 적용하여 긍정적인 결과(90.61%)를 얻었다. 은닉 마르코프 모델의 바이그램(bigram) 모델과 비교하기 위하여 '들었다' 동사만을 가지고 실험하였는데 바이그램 모델의 태깅결과(72.61%)보다 뛰어난 결과(94.25%)를 얻어서 본 모델이 형태적 중의성 해소에 유용함을 확인하였다.

A psychological study of determinant factors on drunk-driving judgements (음주운전 결정요인에 관한 심리학적 연구)

  • 본 연구는 운전자가 음주 후 운전여부를 결정할 때 가장 중요하게 고려하는 음주운전결정요인에 대해 탐색하고, 이들 요인들에 대해 음주운전자와 비 음주운전자 간 차이를 보이는지를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 집단심층면접과 기존 문헌 고찰을 통해 얻은 음주운전에 영향을 미치는 인지적·사회심리적 요인들을 종합하여 설문지를 작성하였다. 전체 조사대상자는 음주운전 경험이 있는 운전자 136(남자 122명, 여자 13명)명이었다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 우선 운전자들은 음주 후 운전여부를 결정할 때 1) 음주정도, 2) 음주 후 경과시간 정도, 그리고 3) 다음날 이동시의 불편함, 4) 집과의 거리 정도를 가장 중요하게 고려하는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 음주 후 운전여부를 결정할 때 중요하게 고려하는 요인들에 대해 음주운전자와 비 음주운전자 간 차이를 검증해 본 결과, 크게 세 가지 차원에서 차이를 보이고 있다. 첫째, '잘못된 신념'에 해당하는 요인들로 음주운전자들이 비 음주운전자들에 비해 음주단속에 걸리지 않을 것이라는 신념을 가지고 있으며, 음주단속과 교통사고 발생가능성을 낮게 평가하고, 자신의 운전실력을 과신하는 경향이 있다. 둘째, '목전단기이익 추구 경향성'에 해당하는 요인들로 음주운전자들이 비 음주운전자들보다 음주 후 차를 두고 갈 경우 야기되는 비용부담, 다음날 이동시의 불편함 그리고 집과의 거리 정도에 더욱 민감한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 음주운전자들이 비 음주운전자들보다 마신 술의 양(음주량)에 대해 더욱 과소평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 연구결과들을 바탕으로 향후 음주운전에 대한 개선 방안을 함께 제시하고자 한다.

Analysis on the cause inducing an uncorrected disparity and distorted depth information by the image distance in stereo camera system (상거리에 따른 시차량의 변화 및 깊이 정보의 왜곡에 대한 연구)

  • In stereoscopy using stereo camera system, the representative factors inducing stereoscopic depth distortions have been reported such as the inter camera distance, the convergence angle and the depth resolution. The image distance is just known to us as a factor related in optical system. In a point of view of depth distortion, it will be a factor inducing a stereoscopic depth distortion. In this paper, we focused on the proof of our opinion that the image distance is one of the weighted factors inducing depth distortion under orthostereoscopic condition.

  • This study examines the effects of children's play activities through forest experience on their parents' expectation and multiple intelligence improvement. To achieve this, an empirical survey was conducted by applying a structural equation model to 152 parents with children. As a result, first, physical and cognitive factors were adopted, and social factors were rejected in the factors that influence the physical, social, and cognitive factors of children's forest experience play activities on parents' expectation of children's safety activities and concern about fine dust. Second, their physical, social and cognitive factors affected their sociality among sub-factors of multiple intelligence improvement. Their social and cognitive spontaneities significantly affected their sensitivity and creativity improvements. Third, parents' expectation did not appear to play a significant mediating role in the effect of play activity through forest experience on multiple intelligence improvement. This study has confirmed that their physical and cognitive factors of play activities through forest experience are directly affected by their parents' concern about fine dust and expectation of their safe activities, and has suggested that their sociality can be thoroughly learned through various educational programs in daycare centers, which is somewhat far from their parents' expectation of their play activities through forest experience.
