  • Mobile payment system has many problems in real mobile payment networks because of the characteristics of mobile device and the security of mobile payment process. Specially, the previous suggested mobile payment protocol can not verify a trust of issuing bank. Therefore, this paper has analyzed the efficiency of a mobile payment with a delegating authority for an issuing bank to trust issuing bank. As a result, the mobile payment protocol with a delegating authority for a payment verification of an issuing bank has improved the time complexities for key computation and communication resilience.

  • In this thesis, first, we propose I-frame encryption techniques of video data for video data itself encryption and propose license agent that processing user's certification and decryption in client system automatically when user execute encrypted video data in system server. License agent runs user's certification, encryption and decryption of video data based on PID(Public Key Infrastructure) using shared key-pool when execute of video data. Also, compose duplex buffer control and propose real time decryption method using efficient buffer scheduling to reduce much playing delay times that happen processing decryption when execute of videoa data of high-capacity.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the suity of key distribution protocol based on discrete logarithm for the purpose of designing key distribution protocol systematically. We also propose the efficient key agreement protocol with direct authentication. In comparison with Station-to-Station protocol, it provides the direct authentication using the Diffie-Hellman problem without signature.

  • Recently, due to the increase in the use of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, the amount of data transmitted and processed to cloud computing servers has increased rapidly. As a result, network problems (delay, server overload and security threats) are emerging. In particular, edge computing with lower computational capabilities than cloud computing requires a lightweight authentication algorithm that can easily authenticate numerous IoT devices. In this paper, we proposed a key-agreement protocol of a lightweight algorithm that guarantees anonymity and forward and backward secrecy between IoT and edge devices. and the proposed algorithm is stable in MITM and replay attacks for edge device and IoT. As a result of comparing and analyzing the proposed key-agreement protocol with previous studies, it was shown that a lightweight protocol that can be efficiently used in IoT and edge devices.

  • The spread of mobile devices, PDAs and sensors has enabled the construction of ubiquitous computing environments, transforming regular physical spaces into 'smart space' augmented with intelligence and enhanced with services. However, unless privacy concerns are taken into account early in the design process of various ubiquitous devices(e.g. mobile devices, PDAs, sensors, etc.). we will end up crating ubiquitous surveillance infrastructure. Also, it may inappropriate to use public key techniques for computational constrained devices in ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, we propose efficient user authentication and ky agreement protocol not only to preserve anonymity for protecting personal privacy but also to be suitable for computational constrained devices in ubiquitous computing environments.

  • Information and network technology become the rapid development, so various online services supplied by multimedia systems are provided through the Internet. Because of intrinsic open characteristic on Internet, network systems need to provide the data protection and the secure authentication. So various researchers including Das, An, and Li&Hwang proposed the biometric-based user authentication scheme but they has some security weakness. To solve their problem, Li et al. proposed new scheme using fuzzy extraction, but it is weak on off-line password attack, authentication without biometrics, denial-of-service and insider attack. So, we proposed security enhanced user authentication scheme with key agreement to address the security problem of authentication schemes.

  • Password authentication schemes (PAS) are the most common mechanisms used to ensure secure communication in open networks. Mathematical-based cryptographic authentication schemes such as factorization and discrete logarithms have been proposed and provided strong security features, but they have the disadvantage of high computational and message transmission costs required to construct passwords. Fairuz et al. therefore argued for an improved cryptographic authentication scheme based on two difficult fixed issues related to session key consent using the smart card scheme. However, in this paper, we have made clear through security analysis that Fairuz et al.'s protocol has security holes for Privileged Insider Attack, Lack of Perfect Forward Secrecy, Lack of User Anonymity, DoS Attack, Off-line Password Guessing Attack.
