인용문헌을 이용한 검색 성능 향상에 관한 실험적 연구

  • 정보검색시 전문(full-text)의 사용이 늘어남에 따라 다의어나 철자오류와 같은 문제점으로 인해 내부적인 정보원의 사용에 한계를 보이면서 외부적인 정보원, 즉 문헌간의 관계와 같은 링크 또는 인용정보에 대한 관심이 높아지게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 인용링크나 피인용링크, 서지결합링크, 동시인용링크 둥과 같은 인용정보와 적합성 피드백 검색을 이용하여 검색 성능을 향상시키는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • 인용문은 인용자와 피인용자의 연구행태와 독성을 간접적으로 확인할 수 있는 중요한 매개체이다. 본 연구에서는 인용문을 매개로 하여 국내정기간행물의 필요성과 중요도를 측정하였다. 또한, 정기간행물의 피인용행태를 분석하므로서 문헌정보학의 학문적 특성과 영역을 간접적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 학회에서 간행된 학술지보다 기관발행 정기간행물의 연구효용도가 높았다.

  • 한국학술지인용색인 KCI의 인용지표가 본격 서비스된 것은 2008년 이후로서 최근 2014년 인용지수가 발표되었다. 7년 동안의 영향력 지수를 비롯하여 KCI가 제공하는 IF 지수와 자기인용율 등의 인용지표 변화 추세를 인문학, 사회과학, 예술체육, 복합학의 4개 인문사회 계열과 자연과학, 공학, 농수해양, 의약학의 4개 공학 계열로 나누어 분석하여 국내 학술지 생태계의 변화를 부분적으로 살펴보고자 하였다.

Producing Top LIS Journal Paper List Based on the Yearly Citation Growth Rate (연간 인용 횟수 증가율에 기반한 문헌정보학 학술지 논문 목록의 순위화에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes a novel method to rank highly-cited papers that incorporate the likelihood of receiving future citations. Instead of using the total citation count, the proposed method ranks most-papers based on the yearly citation growth rate (YCGR). The rank of YCGR can be obtained by calculating the average ranks of five individual citation related variables: 1) Total Citation Count, 2) Leftside-Slope, 3) Publication Year, 4) Peak Year, and 5) Rightside-Slope. To empirically test the proposed method, yearly citation counts with other relevant bibliographic records of the 50 most-cited papers in Library and Information Science (LIS) journals used in the study conducted by Walters and Wilder were collected from the Scopus database for the years 1996 to 2016. The result indicated that the YCGR appears to reflect the degree to which the paper is likely to receive future citations, and the ranked list based YCGR offered an alternative viewing feature of the highly-cited papers in LIS. Although more empirical analyses are needed, the rank based on YCGR in conjunction with variables related to YCGR can be used as an alternative method in recognizing influential papers in LIS.

Analysis of SCI Journals Cited by Korean Journals in the Computer field

  • It is very important to analyze and provide information resources for research output produced in the computer field, the core science of the 4th Industrial Revolution. In this paper, SCI journals cited from domestic journals in the computer field were identified and the citation rankings and their co-citation networks were generated, analyzed, mapped and visualized. For this, the bibliographic and citation index information from 2015 to 2017 in the KSCD were used as the basis data, and the co-citation method and network centrality analysis were used. As a result of this study, the number of citations and the citation ranks of SCI journals and papers cited by korean journals in the computer field were analyzed, and peak time(2 years), half-life(6.6 years), and immediacy citation rate(2.4%) were measured by citation age analysis. As a result of network centrality analysis, Three network centralities(degree, betweenness, closeness) of the cited SCI journals were calculated, and the ranking of journals by each network centrality was measured, and the relationship between the subject classifications of the cited SCI journals was visualized through the mapping of the network.

  • In this study, we analyze out citing and cited references among researchers, using KSCI (Korean Science Citation Index) database that is developed by KISTI. we generate and analyze that impact factor and immediate index with same method in JCR's. KSCI's impact factor and immediate index compared to JCR's, and with this basis, this study propose the need of development KSCI database and present new service model for evaluate of domestic journals.

Analysis on the Foreign Journals Seeking Behaviors through Citation Analysis (인용문헌 분석을 이용한 외국학술잡지 이용행태 분석)

  • The Utilizing patterns of the library were grasped by the citation analysis of the foreign academic journals. From 2002 to 2003, the professors of J University in J city referred to 4,749 foreign journals in their 258 articles published in the domestic journals. Among them, 1,030 pieces on engineering. 741 on natural science, 2,286 on social sciences, 636 on human sciences and 56 on arts and sports were analyzed. The Result of the analysis showed that more journals were cited than the monographs in the fields of engineering, natural science and social science. In addition. $68.2\%$ of the citations were out of the journals listed in SCI. The Journals within 6-10 years in their publication were the most preferably cited.

A Study on the Citation Analysis of korea science journal based on Digital Object Identifier (이학분야 국내학술논문의 DOI기반 인용분석 연구)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 이학분야 국내학술지 중 DOI를 기반으로 하여 인용정보를 제공하고 있는 학술지를 대상으로 피인용정보를 분석하고 WoS, Scopus와 비교를 통해 유사점과 차이점을 찾는 것이다. DOI를 등록하고 있고 WoS, Scopus에 공통으로 등재되어있는 5종의 이학분야 학술지의 CrossRef 피인용정보를 분석한 결과 논문수가 많은 2개 학술지의 인용률이 높았으며 모두 낮은 자기인용률을 보이고 있다. 전체적으로 CrossRef의 고유논문은 논문수와 인용수가 가장 큰 학술지 1종만이 11%이고 나머지 4종의 학술지는 5% 미만으로 대부분 WoS, Scopus 논문에 포함되었다. DB별 비교를 위해 3년간(2008~2010) 발행된 논문의 피인용도를 확인한 결과 모든 학술지에서 WoS의 인용률이 가장 높았고 CrossRef의 경우 레코드 수는 많지만, 전문색인DB가 아니고 참고문헌 등록이 모두 이뤄지지 않아 인용률이 가장 낮았다. 하지만 CrossRef 고유논문비율이 11%인 학술지의 경우 Scopus 보다 인용률이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Semantic Network Analysis of 'Young-Kl(panic buying)': Focusing on News Source Diversity ('영끌' 보도에 대한 언어망 분석: 뉴스 정보원 다양성을 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed news articles about 'Young-Kl' reported by 11 media outlets, identifying news frames and quotation frames. Using a semantic network analysis, this study inspected the quotations frames and measured the frequency of the quotes and sources types. Also, the concentration index of the frames was measured. The results showed that news frames consisted of 10 topics and quotation frames consisted of 14 topics. Although the differences among quotation frames by media as well as by source types were observed, the concentration index of sources such as government, political arena, and business appeared high. Therefore, this study suggested that numerical diversity of news sources would not establish the diversity of news frames.

A Study on the Development of New Patent Index Used the Citation Information (인용정보를 이용한 신 특허지수 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This research suggested a new patent index based on patent citation technique using cited information, For this purpose, comparison research on library and patent information related citation database providing citation index was done. The information quality and meaning on the impact factor of JCR and the technology factor of CHI were reinterpreted. The former emphasizes the quality of continuous publication using relative citation frequency. The latter only emphasizes the information itself because it assesses the quality of patent characteristics. To overcome these difficulties, the latter re-authorized a relative quality to the organization possessing the patent using technology impact factor. Three new patent index were proposed on the basis of cited information to complement this. However, the comparative object was limited to American patent information that presented cited information of patent applied cases, and the comparison and research of domestic patent information could not be done.
