A Study on the Application of RFID Technique for Improving Small Vessel Safety Management System (소형선박 안전관리 개선을 위한 무선인식 (RFID)기술적용 시스템 구축방안 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 2톤 미만 소형선박에 대한 효율적인 안전관리를 위하여 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification)시스템의 실제 해양환경에서의 도입타당성을 검증하였다. 이를 위하여 FRP Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic 선박을 중심으로 목선과 알루미늄선에 태그를 부착하고 이동형 Reader를 활용하여 태그정보를 확인하는 실제 해양환경 인식실험을 실시하였다. 해양환경 인식실험을 위하여 4종의 태그를 선정하였으며 다양한 각도에서 인식률 및 인식거리를 측정하여 그 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 특히, 선박에 설치된 무선설비로 인한 전파장애, 염분, 수분, 온도 등 열악한 해양환경에서 무선인식(RFID)기술의 기술적 환경적 문제점 유무를 분석하였으며, 2톤 미만 소형선박 소유자의 편의성 제고를 위하여 유관기관과의 관련정보 공유를 통한 연계방안으로 무선인식(RFID)기술을 적용한 효율적인 선박안전관리체계 구축방안을 강구하여 선박등록 및 검사업무에서의 활용방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 YOLOv3 기반의 차량 인식 및 계수 방안 연구를 진행한다. 이를 위해, 단일 단계 방식의 구조를 가진 YOLOv3 를 활용하여 영상 속 차량 인식 및 계수 하는 실험을 수행한다. 위의 실험을 통해 영상 속 차량의 수와 밝기에 인식률 정도와 차량 계수 평균 값 추출을 하였다. 실험 결과, 영상 속의 차량의 수와 밝기에 상관없이 90%이상의 차량에 대한 높은 인식률을 보였으며 1초 당 약 20 번씩 인식되는 차량의 수에 대한 계수의 평균 값을 추출하여 텍스트 파일 형태로 저장하여 시간에 따른 차량 계수를 확인하였다. 본 기술은 현대 사회의 교통 체증을 해결하기 위한 교통 흐름 예측에 활용될 수 있다.

  • Proportionately with a rapid development of mobile instrument technology, the number of mobile contents utilizing computing environment's graphic technology or image processing is increasing. In this paper, I designed a middleware which supports facial detection and recognition system based WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability), the Korean standard mobile platform. The facial recognition middleware introduced the object oriented concepts, to apply to recognition security and other contents by using mobile camera. This can reduce the development time and cost by dividing process while developing software. Therefore, it would be applied to content security or technology transfer with other company. Facial recognition middleware system is composed of face detection module and face recognition module, and proposes the application contents design method based on WIPI platform.

  • This paper is aimed to survey threats of employment in Korean shipping industry, review the importance and speciality of women power, and diagnose its sexual discrimination and the actual condition of that. Therefore, this survey research will provide substantial data concerning issues in the employment and the significance of women power in the shipping firms, and give solutions for problems in managing women resource in the shipping companies. In conclusion, this study is able to identify the fact that threats of female employment are social costumes and prejudice, the speciality of work in shipping firms, and the shortage of occupations for women. This result of survey shows that the exclusive recognition about female employment in unique shipping industry should be revised as soon as possible.

Research on pre-service teachers' perceptions of smartphones for educational use and suggestions for school policy (스마트폰의 교육적 활용에 대한 예비교사의 인식 및 학교정책 개선방안 연구)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the pre-service teacher's perception of the possibility of using smartphones in the classroom, moreover, to confirm the policy related to using smartphones in schools. For the objectives, this study, firstly, investigated the pre-service teacher's awareness of having cellphones in the classroom, secondly, analyzed the pre-service teacher's opinion of using smartphones for educational objectives and elements for those investigated objectives, finally, investigated the school policy for educational objectives of using smartphones. The participants of this study were 146 pre-service teachers among three universities in Seoul. The results showed that the pre-service teachers opposed using cellphones in the classroom. Next, it was found that most of them had smartphones and they knew how to use them effectively. For the aspects of educational use of smartphones, they recognized that smartphones could be used as a smart educational tool, an efficient teaching and learning tool, and an assistant tool for teaching and learning. In order to use smartphones for the investigated educational tools, the learning contents, the ways of teaching and learning, and the technical support of the school should be prepared. Finally, the pre-service teachers thought that the school policy should be changed in order to use smartphones for educational objectives, and the school policy with regard to using smartphones in the classroom should be decided by the teachers. Most of all, for the educational use of smartphones, the pre-service teachers believed that the change of the students' perception was the most significant.

A Study on the Improvement of Utilization through Recognition of Virtual Training Content Operating Institutions (가상훈련 콘텐츠 운영기관 인식을 통한 활용도 제고방안 연구)

  • In order to understand how to increase the use of virtual training content at K University's online lifelong education institute, this study examined the use experience, content recognition, field practice replacement, and requirements, focusing on the examples of operating institutions. To this end, 12 institutions that operated virtual training contents distributed by the K University Online Lifelong Education Center in 2020 were selected for in-depth interviews and qualitative analysis was conducted on the interviews of 11 institutions. As a result of the analysis, first, the experience of using the contents of the virtual training operating institution was aimed at changing the educational environment, supplementing theoretical learning, and improving the sense of practice. Second, according to a survey on the recognition of virtual training content, if the importance and utilization of the content are high, it can be replaced by on-site practice in non-face-to-face classes, such as experiences of facilities and equipment, attracting interest and attention. Third, in many cases, the perception of replacement for field practice is not unreasonable to use as a pre-training material for field practice, but it is difficult to replace field practice. Fourth, content quality improvements can be summarized as content quality improvement, content access and manipulation improvement, dedicated device development, training for instructors, and curriculum systematization. Fifth, institutional requirements include improving the quality of virtual training content itself, equipment support, curriculum systemization and characterization, systematic curriculum and detailed content sharing, detailed guidance on using virtual training content, introducing how to use content, and recruiting instructors. This study is meaningful in that it sought ways to improve the utilization of virtual training content based on the perception of virtual training content operating institutions.

The Structural Relationship among the Usefulness, Ease of Use, Intention to Use, and Learning Utilization of Smart Learning Devices Recognized by College Students (전문대학생이 인식한 스마트 학습기기의 유용성, 용이성, 사용의도 및 학습 활용의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship among the usefulness, ease of use, use intention, and learning utilization of smart learning devices recognized by college students. In order to achieve this, the following problems were addressed: first, how do college students' recognition of ease and usefulness of smart learning devices? second, how do college students' recognition of ease and learning utilization? third, what mediating effects od use of smart learning devices and learning utilization? As for the research method, a survey of 350 students who participated in smart learning was conducted to conduct a home review, confirmatory factor analysis, and bootsrapping for structural equation estimation and mediating analysis. As a result of the analysis on this, first, it was found that the usefulness and ease of smart learning devices recognized by college students had an effect on the intention of use. Second, it was found that the perception of the usefulness and ease of smart devices perceived by college students had an effect on the use of smart learning device learning. Third, it was found that the intention to use smart devices perceived by college students mediated the relationship between usefulness and learning utilization, and it was found that it mediated the relationship between ease and learning utilization. The implications are that instructors can recognize and utilize the intention of using smart learning devices properly by allowing college students to recognize the usefulness and ease of using smart learning devices in the classroom, thereby increasing the learning utilization of smart learning devices in class. In addition, efforts are needed to enable college students to recognize the usefulness of smart devices and to expand the use of learning.

  • 4차 산업혁명이 언급되면서 3D 프린터, 로봇, 인공지능, 빅데이터 등 신기술이 발전하고 이는 사회 구조를 변화시킬 것으로 예상된다. 이에 새로운 디지털 기기, 기술들을 이해하는 디지털 리터러시가 중요해지고 있다. 2015 OECD PISA에서 ICT 배경조사 중 한국은 접근성, 활용성 부분과 2018 국가수준 디지털 리터러시 수준 측정연구, 학생들의 디지털 기기의 인식 여부 및 활용 여부 실태조사를 바탕으로 디지털 기기 활용 공간 구성 및 디지털 기기 활용 콘텐츠를 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 먼저 구체적 조작기인 초등학생임을 고려하여 디지털 기기 위주 프로그램으로 선정하였다. 디지털 기기 활용 공간은 기반 기기로 컴퓨터(노트북), 유 무선 인터넷, 디지털 기기로 3D 프린터 및 3D 프린팅 펜, 스마트폰 기반 VR기기, AR마커, 블록코딩 기반 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구 등을 이용해서 구성하였다. 활용하는 콘텐츠는 학생들의 인식 여부 및 수준에 맞춰 체험 위주의 프로그램과 학습, 콘텐츠 제작, 문제해결 프로그램으로 제시하였다.

The Present Status of Picture Book Reading Activities and Utilization of Picture Book Peritexts of Early Childhood Teachers (유아교사의 그림책 읽기활동 현황 및 주변텍스트에 대한 인식과 활용)

  • Objective: The purpose of the study was to investigate the current status of early childhood teachers' picture book reading activities and their knowledge and utilization of the picture book peritexts. Methods: The subjects were 276 early childhood teachers in Seoul metropolitan area. The survey was conducted to investigate early childhood teachers' current status of picture book reading activities as well as their knowledge and utilization of picture book peritexts. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 21.0 program to analyze descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentage. Results: As results, most early childhood teachers recognized that reading picture books to young children was very important and responded that the purpose of reading picture books was to develop children's imagination and creativity. In terms of early childhood teachers' knowledge on 12 peritexts, some peritexts such as 'title', 'cover' and 'title page' were recognized at high level but other peritexts such as typography and layout were at low level. In addition, early childhood teachers' utilization level of peritexts were shown as relatively low compared to their knowledge level. Conclusion/Implications: The study results imply that early childhood teachers need to be informed of the concepts of picture book peritexts and encouraged to utilize peritexts while reading picture books to young children.

Research and Development of Document Recognition System for Utilizing Image Data (이미지데이터 활용을 위한 문서인식시스템 연구 및 개발)

  • The purpose of this research is to enhance document recognition system which is essential for developing full-text retrieval system of the document image data stored in the digital library of a public institution. To achieve this purpose, the main tasks of this research are: 1) analyzing the document image data and then developing its image preprocessing technology and document structure analysis one, 2) building its specialized knowledge base consisting of document layout and property, character model and word dictionary, respectively. In addition, developing the management tool of this knowledge base, the document recognition system is able to handle the various types of the document image data. Currently, we developed the prototype system of document recognition which is combined with the specialized knowledge base and the library of document structure analysis, respectively, adapted for the document image data housed in National Archives of Korea. With the results of this research, we plan to build up the test-bed and estimate the performance of document recognition system to maximize the utilization of full-text retrieval system.
