The Development of Interactive Artificial Intelligence Blocks for Image Classification (이미지 분류를 위한 대화형 인공지능 블록 개발)

  • There are various educational programming environments in which students can train artificial intelligence (AI) using block-based programming languages, such as Entry, Machine Learning for Kids, and Teachable Machine. However, these programming environments are designed so that students can train AI through a separate menu, and then use the trained model in the code editor. These approaches have the advantage that students can check the training process more intuitively, but there is also the disadvantage that both the training menu and the code editor must be used. In this paper, we present a novel artificial intelligence block that can perform both AI training and programming in the code editor. While this AI block is presented as a Scratch block, the training process is performed through a Python server. We describe the blocks in detail through the process of training a model to classify a blue pen and a red pen, and a model to classify a dental mask and a KF94 mask. Also, we experimentally show that our approach is not significantly different from Teachable Machine in terms of performance.

A Comparative Study on the Usability by the Platfrom of Artificial Intelligence Chatbot Service in Library (도서관의 인공지능 챗봇 서비스의 플랫폼에 따른 사용성 비교 연구)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of the artificial intelligence chatbot service of the library and compare the usability of the chatbot service applied to the library, and to propose a plan to improve the usability of the artificial intelligence chatbot service in the library. In order to achieve this research purpose, usability comparison factors were extracted through previous studies on the usability evaluation of artificial intelligence chatbot services, and based on case studies, artificial intelligence chatbot services applied to libraries were classified into their own website-based and SNS-based chatbot services according to the platform. Experiments, questionnaires, and interviews were conducted to evaluate the usability of website-based and SNS-based chatbot services applied to the library. Based on the results of the usability evaluation, implications and improvement plans for the artificial intelligence chatbot service of the library were derived.

  • 이상기후로 인한 강우패턴의 변화는 상류 유역에서의 토양 유실, 비점오염물질의 발생을 가속화시켜 하류 수계의 수질 및 수생태 건강성에 악영향을 미치고 있다. 낙동강 수계에 위치한 내성천 유역에서는 토양 침투율이 높은 토양군으로 구성되어 있어, 강우 시 유출량 및 유사유출량의 비율이 높아 비점오염 저감을 위한 대책 수립의 중요성이 지속적으로 제기되어 왔다. 특히, 내성천 유역 내 상류에 위치한 토일천 및 낙화암천 소유역에서는 다양한 영농활동과 대규모 및 소규모 축사의 영향으로 강우 시 다양한 비점오염물질이 많이 발생하고 있다. 하류 하천에서의 수질을 효율적으로 개선하기 위해서는 비점오염 발생량이 높은 상류 소유역을 대상으로 적절한 최적관리기법 선정과 이에 대한 정량적인 평가 방법이 필요하다. 최근 식생여과대, 침사지 등과 같은 다양한 최적관리기법 중 인공습지에 대한 점오염원 및 비점오염물질 처리 효과가 국내·외 여러 모니터링 연구를 통해 증명되었다. 그러나 아직까지 유역 내 다양한 토양 및 토지이용상태와 그리고 오염원 유출 특성을 고려하여 인공습지의 조성에 따른 유역단위에서의 수질 개선 효과를 정량적으로 분석한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 장기 강우-유출 유역단위 모형인 SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool) 내 인공습지 모의가 가능하도록 모형 소스코드를 수정하였으며, 내성천 상류 소유역(토일천, 낙화암천)에 위치한 인공습지 조성 전후에 따른 유역 말단에서의 유사 및 비점오염물질의 저감 효율을 비교 분석하였다. 향후 본 연구의 결과는 내성천 유역을 대상으로 인공습지를 통한 유사 및 비점오염 저감 대책 수립 시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

Method for improving video/image data quality for AI learning of unstructured data (비정형데이터의 AI학습을 위한 영상/이미지 데이터 품질 향상 방법)

  • Recently, there is an increasing movement to increase the value of AI learning data and to secure high-quality data based on previous research on AI learning data in all areas of society. Therefore, quality management is very important in construction projects to secure high-quality data. In this paper, quality management to secure high-quality data when building AI learning data and improvement plans for each construction process are presented. In particular, more than 80% of the data quality of unstructured data built for AI learning is determined during the construction process. In this paper, we performed quality inspection of image/video data. In addition, we identified inspection procedures and problem elements that occurred in the construction phases of acquisition, data cleaning, labeling, and models, and suggested ways to secure high-quality data by solving them. Through this, it is expected that it will be an alternative to overcome the quality deviation of data for research groups and operators participating in the construction of AI learning data.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the educational effect by developing and applying a decision tree-based artificial intelligence convergence education program. To achieve the purpose of this study, the study was conducted through a three-step process of preparation, development, and improvement. In addition, it consisted of four stages of the creative problem-solving process: 'Understanding the problem', 'Idea search and development', 'realization' and 'evaluation'. In particular, the artificial intelligence convergence education program developed in this study is an unplugged activity that does not include programming. Therefore, it is very noteworthy that artificial intelligence convergence education was implemented in subjects other than technology and home economics education, and information education, which are part of junior engineering education, and practical arts education in elementary education, which is a subject that learns Artificial Intelligence technology including programming during class time. In other words, it shows that AI technology can be integrated and taught in most subjects, not specific subjects and has great significance in that it can utilize the concepts and principles of artificial intelligence technology when teaching the concept of classification, which is included in the curriculum.

Development of an Artificial Intelligence Integrated Korean Language Education Program

  • Amidst the onset of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the prominence of artificial intelligence, societal structures are undergoing significant changes. There is a heightened global interest in AI education for nurturing future talents. Consequently, this research aims to develop an AI-integrated Korean language curriculum for first-year high school students, utilizing the ADDIE model for instructional program development. To assess the program's effectiveness, pre-post assessments were conducted on future core competencies (Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity) and knowledge information processing skills. The curriculum, spanning nine sessions and incorporating four small projects, sought to provide students with a new experience of AI-integrated Korean language education. As a result, students who participated in the program demonstrated improvement in future core competencies across all areas, and positive outcomes were observed in satisfaction levels and qualitative analysis. Through these findings, it is suggested that this program successfully integrates artificial intelligence into high school Korean language education, potentially contributing to the cultivation of future talents among students.

Relationship between Nursing Professionalism, Artificial Intelligence Ethical Awareness, and Digital Health Literacy in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 인공지능 윤리의식과 디지털 헬스리터러시 관계)

  • This study is a descriptive research study to understand the relationship between nursing professional intuition, artificial intelligence ethics, and digital health literacy of nursing college students. There was no difference in nursing professional intuition, artificial intelligence ethics, and digital health literacy according to the general characteristics of the subject. In addition, nursing professionals were found to have a significant positive correlation with artificial intelligence ethics consciousness and digital health literacy, and artificial intelligence ethics consciousness was found to have a significant positive correlation with digital health literacy. These results can be used as basic data for preparing educational programs that can strengthen digital health literacy capabilities by cultivating artificial intelligence ethics as well as nursing professionals of nursing college students.

  • 2차 세계 대전 이후 대형 로켓의 개발에 소극적이었던 미 정부는 미.소간의 냉전이 격화되던 1950년에 한국전쟁이 발발하게 되자 당시 미국의 트루먼 대통령은 안보강화를 위해, 폰 브라운에게 사정거리 300km이 레드스톤 지대지 유도탄개발을 지시하였고, 1953년 8월 플로리다의 케이프커내버럴 공군기지에서 유도탄 발사에 성공하였다. 이어서 대륙간 탄도탄개발이 본격적으로 추진되었다. 이와 더불어 미국 정부는 미국의 국가위상을 고양하고 기술적 우위를 세계에 과시하기 위해 인공위성의 발사가 절대적으로 필요하다는 결론을 내리고 인공위성사업을 추진키로 하였다.

  • 만약 Glenoid side를 해부학적으로 정확하게 치환하고, 상완골측의 prosthesis를 삽입할 때 실제 골두의 크기와 같은 prosthetic head를 쓰고, humeral stem의 위치 및 높이를 정확하게 맞추어 삽입하여, humeral head component의 center와 glenoid component의 center가 일치되고 lateral glenohumeral offset이 정상에 가깝게 수술을 시행하면 인공 치환물로 대치된 glenohumeral joint가 정상에 가장 가까운 kinematics를 가질 수 있다 (당연한 얘기지만 이렇게 수술하려면 많은 경험이 필요). 따라서 Glenohumeral joint의 인공 관절 치환술은 항상 technique-dependant 수술이며, 아무리 좋은 치환물도 훌륭한 수술 기법보다 더 중요할 수는 없다.

  • 다양한 성대의 진동 형태와 조절 작용을 연구하기 위해서 실시간에서 움직이는 인공성대를 만들어 모델의 타당성을 검토하고 이를 이용하여 생리적 음성과 병적인 음성의 기전을 밝히는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 지금까지 연구되어온 정적 모델이나 후두절개 표본의 단점과 한계를 극복할 수 있는 모델을 제작하기 위해 고려해야 할 점은 모델을 이용한 성대 진동 파형의 수평적 수직적 요소의 관찰이 용이해야 하고 성대진동의 기본 요소들 즉 성대의 긴장도, 성문간격, 성문하압 등의 변화에 따른 음성 발현 양상의 차이를 쉽게 보여줄 수 있는 지에 관한 것이다.
