MODIS 위성자료를 통한 한반도 가뭄평가

  • 가뭄은 다른 어떤 기상재해보다 광범위하고 긴 시간에 걸쳐 큰 피해를 초래할 뿐만 아니라 많은 변수들이 복합적으로 작용하여 발생하기 때문에 그 발생 원인을 이해하기 힘들다. 따라서 가뭄에 의한 피해를 최소화하기 위해서는 중, 장기적인 가뭄의 예측이 필요하며, 가뭄을 예측한다는 것은 가뭄의 발생의 시공간 분포와 발생 원인을 정확히 이해하는데서 시작할 수 있다. 현재 우리나라는 기후변화로 인한 이상기후의 영향으로 마른장마, 봄 가뭄 등 이상가뭄이 빈발하고 발생되고 있으며, 90년 이후로 남부지역을 중심으로 겨울에서 봄까지의 가뭄인 횟수가 점점 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 가뭄의 시공간적으로 분석하기 위하여 Terra의 MODIS 원격탐사 자료를 활용하였으며, 한반도를 대상으로 가뭄의 정량적 평가를 실시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 성과는 제한된 관측정보를 통한 시공간 분석의 한계점을 가지고 있지만 가뭄 피해에 대한 현실적인 대책 및 적응전략 수립에 횔용 가능성이 높을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 레코드 연결의 대표적인 문제 중 하나는 레코드 간 비교 비용이 크다는 것이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 레코드 연결에 필수적으로 블로킹 단계가 포함되어야 한다. 블로킹이란 같은 레코드일 가능성이 높은 대상들을 그룹화하여 비교연산을 수행할 대상을 선정하는 단계를 말한다. 블로킹의 목적은 최대한 결과의 recall을 희생시키지 않으면서 비교 연산 횟수 최소화하는 것이다. 메타 블로킹은 가중치 그래프를 블로킹에 적용함으로써 전통적인 블로킹 방식의 한계를 극복하고 더 좋은 성능을 나타내는 모델이다. 본 논문에서는 메타블로킹에서 주목하지 않았던 블록 생성방식을 데이터베이스 속성에 따라 블록을 생성하는 방식으로 개선하고 그에 맞는 가중치 계산식을 제안하였다. 또한 키 기반 블로킹, 메타블로킹, 속성인지 메타블로킹으로 생성된 블로킹 결과에 대한 성능을 측정 및 비교하였다.

  • 이 논문은 게임물리엔진에서 게임세계의 물리적인 요소를 통하여 게임에 존재하는 캐릭터들에게 인공지능을 부여하기 위한 연구에 관해서 다룬다. 게임속에서의 물리적인 상황을 자동인식하기 위해서 신경망을 이용하였다. 게임속에서의 인공지능의 적용은 게임의 속도저하를 가져오게 되는데 이 논문에서는 그러한 단점을 보완하기 위하여 물리엔진에서 캐릭터의 움직임을 계산하는 수치적분 메서드들에 대한 각 물리상황에 따른 최적의 성능을 분석하여 각각의 물리 상황마다 다른 수치 적분 메서드를 적용하는 내부 구조를 취하였다. 수치적분 메서드에 대한 각각의 성능 분석은 세가지의 물리적 상황을 구분하여 그에 기반하여 실험되었다. 인공지능 캐릭터에 대한 실험은 신경망의 토폴로지에 대한 변화와 학습 횟수에 대한 변화 및 은닉층에 대한 변화로 신경망에서의 최적의 성능에 대한 평가를 실시하였다.

  • In this paper, we developed an optimal flicker-free control algorithm operating within 16 luminance implementation bits and 512 brightness implementation pulses irrespective of LPM(LED Pixel Matrix) module configuration on dynamic driving method of LED display system. As an implementation method, we turned the refresh rate up by increasing the number of scans through multiple shift-latches which were devised from conventional shift-latch scheme for full color representation. As a result, the LED display system of this method has no flicker phenomenon because of the novel refresh rate higher than 2,040[Hz] incomparable to 240~480[Hz] of conventional system.

Depressive Disorders among Hansen Disease Patients Living in a Collective Farm (한 집단 농원 한센병 환자들의 우울장애)

  • Objectives: Depression is a major health concern that can be life threatening if not recognized and treated early. However, there is few report on the depressive disorder of Hansen disease patients in Korea. Therefore, the authors executed this study in order to check factors related to a depressive disorder of a Hansen disease patients and compare with factors to reach to a depressive symptoms of ordinary people with studying their life state and the trouble that Hansen disease patients were currently experiencing Method: The authors surveyed depressive symptoms using self-reported questionnaires in 74 Hansen disease patients and 84 controls. The severity of depressive symptoms was measured using Korean Form of Geriatric Depression Scale (KGDS) score. Result: Positive rate of depressive disorders among Hansen disease patients was 70.3% and that the referents was 31.0%. There is significant difference positive rate of depressive disorders between Hansen disease group and the referents in the factors such as gender, age, frequency of going out, familial type, and familial income. Depressive disorder of Hansen disease group was associated with sex, familial income. According to the multiple logistic regression, the odds ratios of the Hansen disease group versus referents, gender, familial income, frequency of going out were significant (p<0.05). Conclusion: Hansen disease patients had statistically significant higher depressive symptom score than the referents. Also, Hansen disease patients who have lower familial income were more likely to have depressive disorders. Therefore, Economical supports and policy are required for the Hansen disease patients.

Annealing Cycle Dependence of MR Properties for Free Layer in $Ni_{25}Mn_{75}-Spin$ Valve Films ($Ni_{25}Mn_{75}-Spin$ Valve 박막 자유층의 열처리 순환수에 따른 자기저항 특성)

  • Annealing cycle number and nonmagnetic layer thickness dependences of interlayer coupling field ( $H_{inf}$ ) and coercivity ( $H_{cf}$ ) of free magnetic layer on NiMn alloy-spin valve films (SVF) were investigated. The SVF is Glass (7059)/N $i_{81}$F $e_{l9}$(70 $\AA$)/Co(10 $\AA$)/Cu(t $\AA$)/Co(15 $\AA$)N $i_{81}$$Fe_{19}$(35 $\AA$)/N $i_{25}$M $n_{75}$(250 $\AA$)Ta(50 $\AA$) films, it were fabricated using the dc sputtering method at different pinning layer thickness and nonmagnetic spacer thickness (Cu thickness; 30 $\AA$, 35 $\AA$, 40 $\AA$) of NiMn alloy with 25 at.%. Ni In case that Cu thickness of SVF is 35 $\AA$ and peak exchange coupling field ( $H_{ex}$) was 620 Oe, while coercivity $H_{c}$ = 280 Oe and MR ratio showed 2.5%. As for $H_{inf}$ and $H_{cf}$ , every SVF increased up to the stabilized values with the increase of annealing cycle number 15, which were $H_{inf}$ of 120 Oe and $H_{cf}$ of 75 Oe. The increase of $H_{cf}$ with the annealing cycle number seems to be caused by the effective reduction of Cu layer thickness due to the increase of interfacial mixing of Cu layer and Co layer. In addition, the $H_{inf}$ and $H_{cf}$ dependences of free NiFe layer by the interfacial mixing effect were appeared the different aspects when Cu layer becomes more thinner and thicker than Cu layer thickness of 35 $\AA$, respectively.ively....

Hepatobiliary Dysfunction in Very Low Birth Weight Infants Supported with Parenteral Nutrition (정맥영양 극소저체중출생아의 간담도 기능 이상)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to describe the frequency of hepatobiliary dysfunction (HD) at our hospital and determine the possible risk factors and complications associated with the development of HD in very low birth weight infants (VLBWI) treated with parenteral nutrition (PN). Methods: A retrospective study of VLBWI (n=92) that required PN between 2004 and 2008 in the NICU at the Bucheon St. Marys Hospital of Catholic University was performed. HD was defined by a direct bilirubin (DB) >2 mg and a transaminase of 60 IU/L defined cholestasis and liver injury. Groups I, II, and III were limited to cases of cholestasis, liver injury without cholestasis, and no abnormalities, respectively. The VLBWI were compared to each other. Results: Thirty-six subjects (39.1%) had cholestasis and 51 (55.4%) had liver injury. In addition, 36 (39.1%), 19 (20.7%), and 37 (40.2%) subjects were classified as groups I, II, and III, respectively. The three groups showed significant differences in gestational age, 1- and 5-minute Apgar scores, use of surfactant, duration of parenteral nutrition, frequency of RBC transfusions, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) (P<0.05). The multiple regression analysis with cholestasis as the dependent variable, showed a significant correlation with gestational age, use of surfactant, frequency of RBC transfusions, and PDA. Conclusion: Various factors, such as birth weight, gestational age, 1- and 5-minute Apgar scores, use of surfactant for respiratory distress syndrome (RDS), frequency of RBC transfusions, BPD, and PDA may be related to hepatobiliary dysfunction in VLBWI treated with PN.

  • According to International Data Corporation(IDC) showed that PC sales for the first time ahead of the global smart phone sales in the fourth quarter of 2010. This opportunity as a smart phone application and mobile web-sites has been launched to accelerate the development of mobile services in a variety of fields. In addition to the support plan for the activation of the local traditional market from the second half of 2012 to make it easier to find information on the traditional markets of the country expanded and reorganized the traditional market-related web-site, trying to catch the foot of the youth in the online. This study is to increase the number of tourists visiting the traditional market or local residents and young people and to provide a basis for the development of mobile UI design for mobile application to investigate the local traditional market apps that are currently available.

Changes in Total Trans Fatty Acid Content in Soybean Oil, Shortening, and Olive Oil Used for Frying (콩기름, 쇼트닝, 올리브유의 감자 스틱 튀김 횟수에 따른 트랜스 지방산 함량의 변화)

  • In this study, changes in total trans fatty acid (tFA) and fat contents were determined in soybean oil, shortening, and olive oil after potato sticks were fried 30 consecutive times, respectively. Prior to frying, the potato sticks contained 3.8% fat, with 43.2% tFAs, After the first frying in soybean oil, the total tFA content of the potato sticks sharply decreased to 3.2%, and then it gradually increased to 8.1 % after 30 consecutive times of frying. However, the total fat content of the potato sticks, fried in soybean oil increased to 15.2% after the first frying and thereafter it decreased to 9.75% with 30 repeated episodes of frying. When the potato sticks were fried in olive oil, similar changes in tFA and fat contents were shown; while such changes were not observed when shortening was used. After 30 consecutive frying events, the tFA contents in the soybean oil and olive oil increased to 4.15 and 5.75%, respectively; however, such an increase was not observed in the shortening. One can assume that most of the tFAs in the fried oils were from the potato sticks, which contained relatively high tFA content during the repeated deep-frying process.

  • The pedestrian traffic flow has more complicated microscopic features than vehicular traffic flow. Without any designated lanes or any guidance, pedestrians naturally move and change their routes in two dimensional domain with ease. Thus the assessment of pedestrian comfort level should be considering the microscopic features of pedestrian flow. This study is aimed at developing pedestrian comfort criteria based upon pedestrian flow simulation model. This study suggests three criteria to determine pedestrian comfort level; the deviation of route, the acceleration of walk, and the number of collision. Each criterion, which can address the unique walking patterns of pedestrian flow, is represented as each different function with respect to traffic flow rate. The criteria can be the additional indicators to determine the level of service of pedestrian flow together with traffic flow rate and walking speed.
