자료행렬에서 개체와 변수간의 관계성을 시각적으로 표현하기 위한 방법 중의 하나가 행렬도이다. 본 논문에서는 전문적인 통계 패키지를 이용한 행렬도 구현이 아니라, 가장 널리 사용되는 응용프로그램 중의 하나인 Excel 에서 VBA를 이용하여 행렬도 시스템을 구현하였다.

경제활동인구조사에서 시군구의 실업자를 추정하는데 소지역 추정법을 이용하는 방안에 대한 연구는 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 합성 추정법과 복합 추정법을 이용한 시군구 실업통계 작성법을 소개하였고 추정량이 편향이므로 잭나이프 방법을 이용한 추정량의 정도를 계산하는 절차를 설명하였으며, 광주광역시의 구별 실업통계작성을 사례로 제시하였다.

In this paper, we describe the basic properties of the parallel coordinate plots and propose a dynamic parallel coordinate plot. This dynamic parallel coordinate plot can be used as a dynamic graphics tool for multivariate data analysis.

We generalize the $Cram{\acute{e}}r$-von Mises Statistic to test multivariate normality using Roy's union-intersection principle. We show the limit distribution of the suggested statistic is representable as the integral of a suitable Gaussian process. We also consider the computational aspects of the proposed statistic. Power performance is assessed in a Monte Carlo study.

This paper develops a goodness of fit test statistic to test if the progressively Type II censored sample comes from an exponential distribution with origin known. The test is based on normalizing spacings and Stephens (1978)' modified Shapiro and Wilk (1972) test for exponentiality. The modification is for the case where the origin is known. We applied the same modification to Kim (2001a)'s statistic, which is based on the ratio of two asymptotically efficient estimates of scale. The simulation results show that Kim (2001a)'s statistic has higher power than Stephens' modified Shapiro and Wilk statistic for almost all cases.

토지이용정보는 토지이용계획, 도시계획, 환경관리 등을 위한 기초자료로 사용되고 있으며, 최근에는 인구가 밀집된 도시지역에서 환경문제를 고려한 정책 수립을 위하여 상세한 토지이용정보를 필요로 하고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 작은 공간단위로 토지이용을 구분하기 위하여 통계단위자료와 기 제작된 수치지형도를 활용하여 도시지역의 토지이용 분류기법을 제시하였다. 제시된 분류기법의 활용 가능성을 확인하기 위하여 서울시 일부지역을 대상으로 실험분석 하였으며, 그 결과 산림지역을 제외하고 전체적으로 높은 정확도를 보였다. 향후 산림지역에 대한 토지이용정보 취득 방법을 보완할 경우 본 연구에서 제시한 방법은 도시지역 토지이용정보 취득에 효율적으로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 통계단위와 토지이용정보 구분단위가 일치하므로 다양한 통계집계자료와 함께 분석하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

이 논문에서는 국내 우편통계의 현황에 대하여 간략히 언급하고 있으며 접수 우편물량에 대한 기술통계와 배달 우편물량에 대한 추정을 다루고 있다. 성장곡선모형을 이용하여 접수 우편물량에 대한 예측을 논의하였고 성장곡선모형 중에서 삼차곡선이 매우 잘 적합시키는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 체신청별 배달 우편물량을 체신청별 접수 우편물량과 마코프 연쇄에서 나타나는 전이행렬을 이용하여 추정하였으며 이는 표본이 비추정의 기본 개념과 일맥 상통함을 발견하였다.

본 논의에서는 cDNA 마이크로어레이 분석에서 다변량 분석의 한 방법인 Hotelling의 T제곱 통계량을 이용하여 유의적 유전자군을 검색하고, 이 유전자군을 사용하여 검사자료를 두군으로 분류하는데 단변량 t통계량에 기초한 접근보다 얼마나 효율적인지를 평가하고자 한다.

In this paper, we developed the web content of statistical analysis using statistical package and Active Server Page (ASP). A statistical package is very difficult to learn and use for non-statisticians, however, non-statisticians want to do analyze the data without learning statistical packages such as SAS, S-plus, and R. Therefore, we developed the web based statistical analysis contents using S-plus which is the popular statistical package and ASP. In real application, we developed the web content for various statistical analyses such as exploratory data analysis, analysis of variance, and time series on the web using water quality data. The developed statistical analysis web content is very useful for non-statisticians such as public service person and researcher. Consequently, combining a web based contents with a statistical package, the users can access the site quickly and analyze data easily.
