This study aimed to explore YouTube subscribers' uses and gratification through PLS path modeling. Especially, we identified the types of use motives grounded on ritualized (MR) and instrumental (MI) use motives; and then showed two motives have an effect on satisfaction directly and indirectly through mediating of flow. We employed PLS path modeling to analyze structural causalities among the constructs. We found all of the presented hypotheses are supported respectively. Two motives (MR and MI) had an effect on flow and satisfaction. Flow also had an effect on satisfactions. Namely, satisfaction was explained directly and indirectly, through mediated with flow, by MR and MI. Finally, we presented implications of findings and suggestion for future study.
The purpose of this research is to examine the empirical effect of participating motives for lifelong education on the releasing of controlled inferiority, the gratification of retained desire, and voluntary resocialization. The motives for lifelong education were divided into an external viewpoint focusing on consumers' behaviors and an internal viewpoint based on activity of the ego. External motives were divided into pragmatic, entertaining, and relational motives, while internal motives were divided into self-realization, self-existence, and self-participation motives. The results show that the pragmatic motive and the self-realization motive, the entertaining motive and the self-existence motive, and the relational motive and the self-participation motive are highly related to each other. It was found that the pragmatic motive and the self-realization motive affected the lifelong education participants' release of controlled inferiority relatively stronger, the entertaining motive and the self-existence motive affected participants' gratification of retained desire relatively stronger, the relational motive and the self-participation motive affected participants' voluntary resocialization relatively stronger.
The purpose of this study is to identify the convergence factors affecting the unmet health needs of the indigent elderly. The data the study is the Korean medical panel of 2011 and the parameters belonging to each factors were selected based on the Anderson model. We analyzed the general characteristics using frequency analysis and the correlations between variables using cross analysis. Finally, logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the factors affecting unmet health needs. The indigent elderly with no education and elementary school graduates were 1.5 times more likely to experience unmet health needs than the poverty elderly with high school graduates. The indigent elderly who does not work for income, who were employers and self-employeds were 1.5 times more likely to experience unmet health care need than unpaid family workers. The indigent elderly with disabilities in activites of daily living were 2.9 time more likely to experience unmet health care needs than the indigent elderly with no disability in activites of daily living. The results of this study confirm that the increase in the economic burden of medical care for the indigent elderly can lead to the unmet health needs.

This study was conducted to compare the unmet needs and quality of life of permanent and temporary ostomates. The research subjects were 128 ostomates with colorectal cancer or other advanced cancers. Data were collected by self-reported completion of the Comprehensive Needs Assessment Tool in Cancer (CNAT) and the City of Hope Quality of Life (COH-QOL) Ostomy Questionnaire from February 1 to April 5, 2018. Collected data were analyzed by chi-squared and independent t-tests using IBM SPSS 21.0. The results showed that the unmet need for temporary ostomates was significantly higher than that of permanent ostomates (t=-2.284, P=0.024). Moreover, temporary ostomates showed a higher unmet need for information and education (t=-2.747, p=0.007), psychological problems (t=-2.578, p=0.011), and physicians (t=-2.599, p=0.010). Although quality of life of temporary ostomates seems lower than that of permanent ostomates, there was no significant difference between groups (t=-1.364, P=0.0175). Therefore, it is necessary to develop a self-management program to provide appropriate information and psychological support for temporary ostomates.
The purpose of this study is to develop the measurement of security needs satisfaction from users of electronic security system, to verify its validity and reliability, and by applying them, to examine the effects between the communities using this system. In 2008, the users of electronic security system in big cities in Seoul(Yong-San, Jong-Lo) and Gyung-Gi Do(Su-Won) for their convenience stores, jewelry shops, communication services, banks, government and public offices, etc. were arranged for a population and 262 of them were used for the final analysis by purposive sampling. This study yields following results. First, the validity of security need satisfaction from users of electronic security system is very high, which means the explanatory adequacy of environmental security need is the highest. Second, the reliability of security need satisfaction from users of electronic security system is very high, in which the reliability value(Cronbach's $\alpha$) of internal consistency is over .765. Third, the security need of electronic security system has the most effects on the group of bank workers. That is, through a close cooperative system between the bank and the service of electronic security system, the more keeping satisfied the environmental, bodily, physical security needs are, the less the in security of this group has. Informational security need has the most effects on convenient store group. It means the service companies of electronic security system offer more services at dawn time and make or supply all sorts of visual information system, which reduces insecurity of the convenient store group.

This study examined the prevalence of and factors associated with unmet care need among community-dwelling middle-aged and older people in Korea. Data were from the 2006 Korean Longitudinal Study on Ageing (KLoSA), a national survey of 10,254 non-institutionalized adults aged 45 or older. Having unmet care needs was defined as needing personal assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) or instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) but having no available helper. Weighted logistic regressions were fitted to examine factors associated with unmet care needs. Overall, 7.3%, 14.5%, and 41.8% of subjects among the middle-aged, younger old, and older old, respectively, reported care needs of these, 34%, 33%,and 24% had unmet needs. Factors associated with unmet needs differed among the three groups: Education and income level were negatively associated with unmet needs among the middle-aged, but living alone was the only factor positively associated with unmet needs in both the younger and older old. The prevalence of and factors associated with unmet care needs differ by life-stage. Needed are home- and community-based care and services to meet the need for personal assistance among the elderly living alone in a community.
This study examines the motivation for using YouTube 'mukbang' content by integrating the use and satisfaction approach and the technology acceptance model, and identified the determinants that affect the continuous use intention. A survey was conducted on 358 YouTube 'mukbang' content users, and major results were derived through exploratory/confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program and the AMOS 21.0 program. The main results are presented as follows. First, information seeking motive, stress relief motive, and time spending motive had a positive effect on perceived usefulness, and information seeking motive and time spending motive had a positive effect on perceived ease of use. Second, information seeking motivation, stress relief motivation, and time spending motivate had a positive effect on perceived enjoyment and perceived novelty. Third, perceived enjoyment did not have a significant effect on perceived usefulness. Fourth, both perceived enjoyment and perceived novelty had a positive effect on continuous use intention. Fifth, perceived ease of use had a positive effect on perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had a positive effect on continuous use intention. This study will have academic significance in that it elaborates a model that can identify the continuous use of YouTube 'mukbang' content by integrating the uses and gratifications approach, and technology acceptance model. Future follow-up studies should contribute to the refinement of models related to the determinants of the intention to continue using YouTube's 'mukbang' content through an attempt to integrate various models.
