The Impact of SNS Advertising Attribute on Advertising Likeability and Purchase Intention: A Comparison of Difference According to Use Motive and Use Intensity of SNS (SNS 광고속성이 광고호감도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향: SNS 이용동기 및 이용강도에 따른 차이 비교)

  • This study investigated experimentally how factors of SNS advertising attribute impact on advertising likeability and purchase intention according to use motive and use intensity of SNS. Firstly showing difference according to use motive of SNS, in user of motive to managing human relation, reliability of advertising contents has effect the largest and entertainment of advertising interest has effect also as important factor. In user of motive to sharing interest information, irritation of advertising on using SNS has effect the largest negatively and information of advertising's information offering capability has effect larger as positive factor. Next showing difference according to use intensity of SNS, in user of high intensity, reliability and information of advertising contents has effect larger than other factors. In user of low intensity, irritation of advertising has effect the largest negatively and other factors have effect very small. This results can provide a practical contribution that explains important factors in producing effective SNS advertising according to using behavior characteristics of SNS.

  • Airline industry which is depressed owing to terror attack on September 11 and Iraq War in early 21 century through high fuel cost and continuous recession in the second half of 90's is gradually recovering from the year of 2004. So demand of airline industry is rising step by step and investment of airlines toward customer service is also going up. Recently some mega carriers in head customer service in-flight internet service. In addition, so do domestic airlines and others ant to be backward. Many Study on usage attitude toward internet have been argued continuously as a result of everyday life using internet. Although there were survey for the revenue perspective of the firm, study on the side of the consumer is so rare. This study used the model of DEA -conjoint what users of the in-flight internet service now attitude and preference important factors to use. As a result, factors chosen are method to charge, service speed of internet, quality of contents provided and ease of approach toward information. This study presents airlines supplying in-flight internet service now to differentiation strategy for each segment.

  • Library change of recent times first change of the user there is a wild possibility with most big feature. The user the housewife and unemployment sleeps from the student use center of weekday, with very old man use and to holiday the attribute of the user is changing with family accompaniment use. As the residential type library does recently and the library of new concept appears and it provides a reading service with the form which confront in attribute of the user who is various. This study which it sees the public library of the city center where there is to an execution time at the residential type library the family from inside the library tracking investigated use conduct in the object. This research analyzed the interrelation of composition feature of the type of family use and the un-reading behavior.

A Study on the User Task in Resource Description & Access (RDA에 나타난 이용자 과업에 대한 연구)

  • This study deals with the user task that is the goal of development of RDA (Resource Description & Access), an international standard for future bibliographic description. RDA seeks to implement the user task based on FRBR-FRAD model. User task could be composed of two areas: (1) find, identify, select, and obtain of bibliographic resources in information seeking and (2) find, identify, clarify, and understand of entities related to resources (i.e., person, family, corporate, concept, etc.). This research analyzes how the resource is defined with entity, attributes, and relationship in RDA based on the conceptual model of FRBR-FRAD. And this finally shows the ways of supporting user task in RDA.

  • The proliferation of smart devices (such as smart phones and tablet PCs) has led to a marked increase in the use of mobile-based internet. As a result, the influence of the mobile internet has become important to make opinions on social issues. This study explores the effects of mobile internet news users' characteristics on formation of opinions about major political, economic and social issues. We used the data from the media audience awareness survey by the Korean Press Foundation in 2016 and 2017 in this analysis. The characteristics of the news users are gender, age, education, income, news usage days, news usage hours, media application usage days, news gathering application usage days, portal usage days, and media official website usage days. These characteristics are known as possible explanatory variables for the mobile internet news users. Multiple logistic regressions were done with interpretation to know which covariates affect on formation of major opinion.

  • The purpose of this study is to segment visitors for beer franchise restaurants. Total of 308 questionnaires were distributed to the beer franchise restaurant customers of Kangnam area, Seoul. To accomplish the aim of this study, author took the following three steps. Firstly, literature review was done to find out selective attributes for restaurant and bar and market segmentation. secondly, Selective attributes of beer franchise were analyzed and five factors, -'additional service', 'side dish quality', 'service class', 'accessibility' and 'outlet image'- were extracted. Lastly, customers of beer franchise shop were divided into two groups by the selective attributes, -'simple visiting group' and 'active lover group'. Those variables-loyalty, intent to recommend and overall satisfaction- have significant influence on 'active lover group'. Other than that, other variables -demographic characteristics and customer's behavior characteristics- didn't play important role to distinct two groups. As a result, only basic information for setting up marketing strategy of each market was provided.

A Content Analysis of Digital Audience Replies to Video Advertising Types: Focused on Viral Video and Cable Broadcasting Advertisement (영상광고 유형별 디지털 이용자의 댓글 내용분석에 관한 연구: 바이럴 동영상 광고와 케이블 방송광고를 중심으로)

  • The study analyzed the evaluation of the advertisement effect by the score and the method of the advertisement comments in ad evaluation in online site, 'TVCF'. The results are as follows. First, Internet viral advertisement showed higher number of ad comments and higher evaluation of advertisement effect than cable broadcasting advertisement. Second, the results of analysis of the difference of advertisement evaluation according to ad types and digital user characteristics showed that women are more positive than men toward both cable broadcasting and internet viral advertisement.

  • The influence of SNS platform in the mobile environment has grown greatly. Among the various social networking services(SNS), this study analyzed the question of 311 women to investigate whether any difference exists between reliability of contents information, informativeness and playfulness as well as how attributes of contents information influence user attitude depending on the difference in type of providing information provided by "Innisfree" Cosmetics, the company account of Instagram. According to analysis, first, no difference exists between reliability of contents information, informativeness and playfulness depending on the type of providing information. Second, reliability and the playfulness of contents information influence purchase intention. Third, contents information "informativeness" and "playfulness" influence loyalty. Fourth, the "informativeness" and "playfulness" of contents information influence User Satisfaction. Considering such result, it is confirmed that the type of providing information provided by company does not influence account attributes and the "playfulness" of contents information is significant factor which influences all user attitude.

  • With the advent of the autonomous driving era, automobiles are being discussed as an extension of the media. The growth of the in-vehicle infotainment(IVI) system can provide various benefits and values to the driver and passengers. Although the development and research of related technologies is being carried out, there has been no research that specifically identified users' valuation on the main attributes of IVI systems. This study uses conjoint analysis to investigate key attributes and users' preferences. The results indicate that the most important attribute for IVI system is provider, followed by system operation type, main service and content type. For each attribute, consumers prefer a detachable infotainment system provided by a telecommunication company, and prefer to use information-oriented services and content that they have previously consumed. This paper provides practical implications, especially in terms of convergence, that operators can refer to in IVI development.

Exploring Sociodemographics and Personality of Metaverse Users (메타버스 이용자의 인구사회학적 속성과 성격에 관한탐구)

  • With the advent of the metaverse era, understanding individuals who engage in metaverse activities has become an important task for businesses and marketing practitioners. This study aimed to compare the socio-demographic and personality factors of metaverse non-users and users, and to ascertain the impact of these individual characteristics on use of metaverse. Cross-sectional data from 9,686 respondents aged 13 and above that extracted from the 2022 Korean Media Panel Survey were analyzed, revealing significant differences between metaverse non-users and users in terms of gender, age, education level, income level, marital status, employment status, openness to experience, extraversion, and conscientiousness. Gender, age, openness to experience, and neuroticism influenced the possibility of metaverse use. Age, education level, and openness to experience were found to impact the extent of metaverse use. These findings are expected to serve as foundational insights for businesses and marketing practitioners aiming to formulate strategies in utilizing the metaverse.
