Digital transformation, which is accelerating in each area of society due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is also having a profound effect on Christian education. A representative example of digital transformation is the emergence of a digital world called the metaverse. This study understands the metaverse as an expanded space for Christian education and explores digital storytelling as a method for faith formation. It is argued that the characteristics of digital storytelling through metaverse spaces are characterized by interactivity, agency, audiovisuality, sociality, and openness, and that modification through Christian educational frames is necessary in order for this approach to be appropriated to Christian educational practice. To this end, this study examines Anne Wimberly's story-linking approach, and Mary Hess' approach on digital storytelling, which is understood as a way of faith formation for the liberation and Christian vocation through storytelling in a digital space, focusing on authority, authenticity, and agency. It is argued that Christian education on the Metaverse should be a place for change in the Christian life and formation of vocation, and a space where participants' active responses to God's grace be practiced in a digital space in a reciprocal way. This means that learners are encouraged to participate in expressive and relational education that is practiced in the form of play and creation, responding to God's initiative in the metaverse. This study argues that for digital storytelling through the metaverse to become a process of faith formation, it is necessary to connect stories of participants with the story of God's Kingdom in the expanded digital world, aim for a reciprocal space through hospitality and listening, and promote immersive participation and holistic reflection.

The aim of this study is to propose the introduction of narrative description as an improvement to describing archives, thereby enhancing the user experience of archives. To achieve this, the study identifies the specific forms and positions of narrative elements in archives and analyzes the interaction between archival description and narrative elements. It also examines cases where narrative description has been applied in digital archives to analyze their purposes and identify the various types and characteristics of narrative description for the improvement of description and considering factors that should be taken into account when implementing narrative descriptions. Theoretical research explores the concept and role of narrative and analyzes how it is manifested in describing archives. Case studies investigate the types of narrative description in digital archives and explore their roles. Narrative description emphasizes that it can facilitate implementation by establishing the narrative identity of archivists as context constructors, conducting extensive and deep research on records, and planning collaborations with experts. However, due to the lack of concrete implementation plans for narrative description in the practical archives, further research is needed to develop models of narrative description and prepare various examples of narrative applications.

The purpose of this study is analyzing phenomenon of mathematical communication by students applied story shell. Also, this study is obtained teaching indicated in early standardized mathematics classes. It is served we realize the purpose of study and set study subject to be as follows. First, it finds out how to be described activities of students' mathematical communication in the mathematics class applied story shell. Second, it finds out what phenomenon is observed in a behavior side of the mathematics class applied story shell. It is developed 7 story shells for the 6th grade of the elementary school for about 4 months and when applying mathematics classes, it is analyzed the notes and recorded data to get in an each class and when applying mathematics classes. The result of this study is as follows: First, in a mathematics class which applies story shell, students concentrate on the class when hearing and reading mathematics problem. So, they are able to understand a mathematical language included in the problem. Second, in a mathematics class which applies story shell, students participate actively at the mathematics class. And in complicate situation among the students it is served they justify own opinion and persuaded logically. The point which study hints to see such a result is as follows: First, in a mathematics class which applies story shell students have answered more quickly than the old times as hearing and reading the problem in a picture. Second, in a mathematics class which applies story shell, students were used to being the mathematics language intimately and there was to observe to express it by an equation. Third, in a mathematics class which applies story shell students attend to study activity with interest. Forth, in situation of complicate thought, students are persuading and explaining their opinions for the purpose of justification.

In this study of children's story comprehension, 157 first grade students were randomly selected from 2 elementary schools. Based on their test scores on standardized reading comprehension test, 36 children in the upper and in the lower 25th percentiles were assigned to either a high or a low reading group. Children of both groups read the same story presented either by CD-ROM or by printed-book. Story comprehension was measured by retelling the story and by questions on comprehension. Data were analyzed by 2-way ANOVA. Results showed significantly higher comprehension scores in CD-Rom compared with the printed-book group. The difference in comprehension scores between the CD-ROM and the printed-book groups was greater than in the low reading group compared with the high reading group.

This study investigated the effects of macrostructure on discourse processing. In this study, three different story were employed to form macrostructures on different times, and reading time, sentence verification time and free recall rate were measured as dependent vari- ables. The results showed that forming the macrostructure influenced the reading and verification times and the recall rate. The results were interpreted to indicate that the macrostructure is important to comprehend and recall the stories, and that the story grammars, hierarchies of story schema and causal relation of sentences affect the comprehension and recall through their interaction in macrostructure.

지난 두 회 동안 살펴보았던 예들은 다른 목적과 이유를 가진 상이한 프로젝트들이었음에도 불구하고 지오메트리의 특성 및 특정 상황에서의 거동을 미시적인 층위에서 이해한 뒤 이를 파라메트릭 모델로 변환하고 거시적인 층위에서의 설계 최적화에 사용했다는 점에서 공통점을 찾을 수가 있습니다. 또한 이러한 개념적 특성상의 공통점으로 인해 사용하였던 기술적인 방법 또한 미분방정식의 개념을 차용하는 유사성을 보였습니다. 하지만 그러한 내부참조를 통한 recursive process를 이용한 설계 최적화에 관한 이야기가 처음 몇 회에 걸쳐서 이야기 드렸던 '파라메터 및 파라메트릭 툴'의 개념을 명확히 전달하는데 조금 어려움이 있지 않았나 하는 생각이 듭니다. 그런 의미에서 오늘을 시작으로 몇 회에 걸쳐서 살펴볼 내용들은 좀 더 실용적이고 때로는 즉물적인 층위에서의 파라메트릭 툴의 사용에 초점을 맞추려 합니다.

There are different variations in folktales. Sometimes folkltales are combined with another folktales. This is probably done to make it an object-oriented narrative in which an epic attempt is made to strengthen an issue that was not resolved earlier, or a context that was not completed. The wood cutter and the heavenly maiden and Snail bride, are commonly noted for their gender relationship. These tales represent issue of continuing relationships between men and women. Particulary, how in the process of doing so, they succumb to their desires. This striving for lasting relationships does not end happily because "the man" in each case was immature and not able to think clearly. Other folktales were combined with these tales to resolve this problem. The man was transformed into a mature person and the wrongdoer's excessive greed was punished. The narrative of the folktales was changed to bring out the epic of growth, or the epic of punishment. This can be understood through the concept of narrative scheme. Folktale combinations in narrative schemes can be used effectively in narrative education.

This dissertation discusses the formulation of a nonlinear storytelling board that preserves the contextual perspective of characters. Storytelling encompasses the director's creative intention by leveraging the interaction of various elements to construct a logical narrative that explores cause and effect. Its primary objective is to enhance viewers' empathy. Consequently, there is a pressing need for comprehensive research on differentiating storytelling from storyboarding. Moreover, the integrated approach to storytelling and storyboarding holds scholarly value in understanding the process of narrative composition and visualization. Thus, a study proposes a method for constructing nonlinear storytelling boards considering the discrete camera perspective and contextual scene continuity, ultimately contributing to visual complexity and correlation comprehension. This approach enables a careful and simultaneous consideration of the correlations that deepen cognition, including the physical, emotional, and event rhythms mentioned in Karen Perlman's theory.

In this paper, we present the results of a study of lessons learned from the life of Caleb (Cal), a significant character in John Steinbeck's "East of Eden." His life serves as a powerful example of the process of self-discovery, overcoming conflicts with self, others, and society. He emphasizes the importance of managing and understanding your emotions, learning to acknowledge and express them throughout your journey. He makes moral judgments while confronting desires and conflicts, and transparently demonstrates the importance of self-determination based on ethical decisions, while his honest expression and acceptance of his own emotions emphasizes the core value of emotion management and understanding. Additionally, his story emphasizes the clear importance of understanding and compromise in human relationships. We present a thorough exploration of these topics and consider how the lessons from Caleb's story can be applied to our everyday lives. As a result of the analysis in this paper, we expect to gain insight into how these lessons can be applied and put into practice.

The purpose of this study is to understand the context of cosumers' lives in Korea with a narrative analysis method. The epistemological orientation of eh narrative analysis is Interpretivism, which blends the two polar philosophical perspectives, Empiricism and Rationalism, and includes Narrotology, Hermeneneutics, Semiotics, and Structural Criticism. Narrative analysis takes as its object of investigation the story itself. This study collects eleven narrative plots from four housewives, into which Labov's structural approach is applied. This study shows clearly that the socio-cultural environment in which consumers live has strong influence on their consumption behavior and also reveals that narrativization tells not only about past actions but how individuals understand those actions, that is, meaning.
