Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) is one of the most promising candidates for high density magnetic storages over 1 Tb/$in^2$ areal density. Since the precise light delivery to the head is a key factor to realize HAMR application, it is required to establish the light delivery using micro laser module and micro actuator. For the careful control of micro actuator, a laser module was designed including laser diode, optical fiber, collimating lens, and fabricated V-groove substrate. In addition, the basic aligning method between the laser module and HAMR head was studied by the detection of current change in photo diode due to the amount of reflected light from the head.

In this paper, specimens stirred with the several kinds of benzotriazole(following as BTA) addition which is very effective to decrease the streaming electrification, are tested to investigate the change of properties for insulating fluid using in ultra-high voltage transformer, and it will give a guideline to find out a proper quantity of BTA addition for the most effective suppression against the streaming electrification. In GC, we could not find out the change of the physical properties in an insulating fluid by BTA. In a flowing transformer oil, the characteristics on dielectric of specimen contained BTA 10[ppm] are superior to the others.

Measuring of the dissolved oxygen is widely used for the environmental control of natural waters, sewage waste treatment, medical and biochemical studies, soil husbandry, food and drug process control, and prevention of corrosion in boilers. Especially, a power plants need special management for preventing accidents from corrosion, therefore, it is essential to measure the concentration of dissolved oxygen in real-time. In this paper we present a method of measuring dissolved oxygen very accurately up to ppb units. This method, called polarographic method, is based on the measures of the electric current generated by the oxidation process in cathode and de-oxidation process in anode, assuming that the amount of the current is proportional to the density of dissolved oxygen.

In this paper, a new neural network training algorithm will be devised for function approximator with good generalization characteristics and tested with the time series prediction problem using santaFe competition data sets. To enhance the generalization ability a constraint term of hidden neuraon activations is added to the conventional output error, which gives the curvature smoothing characteristics to multi-layer neural networks. A hybrid learning algorithm of the error-back propagation and Hebbian learning algorithm with weight decay constraint will be naturally developed by the steepest decent algorithm minimizing the proposed cost function without much increase of computational requriements.

현재 복부용 초음파 진단장치에 가장 일반적으로 사용 되고 있는 3.5MHz의 굴곡형 선형배열(curved linear array) 탐촉자에 대하여, 탐촉자 요소의 폭과 높이, 측 방향 및 높이 방향의 곡률 반경 둥의 구조적인 파라메터 변화가 음장에 미치는 영향을 시물레이션을 통하여 체계적으로 해석하였다. 시물레이션에 있어서, 탐촉자는 128개의 요소변환자 중 32개에 의해 초음파 빔을 형성하며, 매질 중에 방사된 파형은 코사인 포락선을 갖는 3주기의 펄스인 것으로 일정하게 가정하였다. 시뮬레이션의 결과, 탐촉자의 측 방향 및 높이 방향 곡률보다는 탐촉자 요소의 폭 및 개구높이가 음장에 더 많은 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

국립국어원 온라인가나다에서 제공되는 질의응답 문서를 이용한 국어정보에 대한 Q&A시스템은 언어 자체에 대한 질문과 답변의 특성으로 조사나 어미로 끝나는 표현이 주어로 등장하는 등의 특이한 문장이 자주 나타난다. 이러한 이유로 형태소 분석을 거쳐 명사를 키워드로 추출하는 일반적인 키워드 추출 방식은 좋은 성능을 얻기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 국어정보 질의응답 문서의 특징에 맞는 키워드 추출 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방식에서는 문장 단위로 분할된 결과에서 연결어미로 문장을 추가로 분할한 뒤에 조사 앞에 나타나는 단어열을 키워드로 추출한다. 덧붙여 다자비교형 질의에서의 키워드 추출을 위해 편집거리를 이용한 키워드 추출 방법을 제안한다.

For structural engineers, design of pile cap causes difficulties since design of this member is not specifically addressed by codes. In general, pile cap is considered as deep beam and designed for shear and moment at specified critical section. This is called as traditional section method. However, many international design codes suggest the application of strut tie method for better design of this member. In this paper, a brief application of strut tie method to the design check of pile cap structure designed by section method is presented. Unlike well known pile cap with single column, the example pile cap has two columns. In order to find out proper load path under various load condition, three dimensional finite element method was carried out. The result indicates that provided reinforcement by traditional section method has sufficient capacity to meet the design requirements.

We have studied the I-V characteristics of polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) thin film depending on a variation of thickness. Polymer PTFE buffer layer was made using thermal evaporation technique. The device was made in the structure of ITO/PTFE/Al. We have observed the NDR(negative differential resistance) behavior between 2.5V and 5V. There are some reports on this NDR behavior in the polymer thin film[1]. We have studied the NDR behavior depending on a variation thickness. As the film thickness increased, The NDR behavior decreased and moved in low electrical field, and we have studied the conduction mechanism of PTFE thin film.

본 논문에서는 초고속 비동기전송(ATM)망에서의 체증 문제를 풀기위해 $H_{\infty}$ 필터 사용을 제안한다. 많은 제어기들에 대한 초기 연구들은 가용 비트율이 망 체증이 제거될 수 있도록 버퍼에서의 원하는 셀들의 큐의 길이를 원하는 값 범위내에서 성공적으로 조절될 수 있음을 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 망의 노이즈를 가우시안 랜덤 열로 근사화하는 ATM망에 대하여 현대 제어 기법인 $H_{\infty}$ 필터를 적용한다. 따라서 제안한 $H_{\infty}$ 필터는 망의 외란으로 밭생하는 망의 출력의 영향을 미리 주어지는 $H_{\infty}$ 노옴값 이내로 유지시켜준다. 따라서 미리 주어지는 $H_{\infty}$ 노옴값이 작다면 제안한 $H_{\infty}$ 필터는 외란에 강인한 성능을 보여줄 수 있다. $H_{\infty}$ 필터 이득은 대수적인 리카티 방정식의 해로 구해진다.

Many investigators reported the mineral corticoid hormon-like action of Glycyrrhizin. The other investigators suggested concerning the glucocorticoid hormon-like action. Authors had been observed the glycogen content of the liver to make sure the relationship between glucocorticoid like action of Glycyrrhizin and glucose metabolism in the liver. There was significant increase in the liver glycogen content in rat fed Glycyrrhizin for two weeks, however it was confirmed that Glucuronic acid combined with Glucuronic was unable to make any influence to glycogen content. The relation concerning the effect of Glycyrrhizin on liver glycogen and its mechanism of action might be needed followup study.
