A Study on Improvement of Durability for Run-out Table Roller with Hot Rolling by Porous Self-fluxing Alloy Coating (다공질 자용성 합금 피복에 의한 열간 압연용 런-아웃 테이블 롤러의 내구성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this research is to develop the coating technique by a porous self-fluxing alloy for improving the mechanical properties of run-out table roller surface with the hot rolling. To enhance the durability of run-out table roller with the hot rolling, the high hardness of roller surface should be maintained at high temperatures, and the improvement of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, burn resistance and adhesion resistance should be maintained. In order to be able to transport reliably a hot rolled steel sheet, also, the appropriate friction coefficient on the roller surface should be maintained and the slip between roller and steel should not occur. In this study, the wear resistance of roller increases after the self-fluxing alloy is changed to a cermet by adding the tungsten carbide(WC), and the coefficient of friction increases and the ability of grip is improved because the porosities are made by coating with fine iron powder on the roller surface. As a result, it is found that the ability of grip between the steel and the roller coated by a porous self-fluxing alloy contained to 5 ~ 10 wt% of Fe in the coating layer is improved compared to the roller coated by Ni-Cr. This is because the porosities are made after Fe contained in the roller is partially alloyed by heating with a furnace in the fusing process and the rest is eliminated by oxidation and dissolution.

  • 이 연구는 채소의 생산에서 가장 많은 노동력이 소요되고 단순ㆍ반복적인 결속작업의 기계화기술을 개발하기 위하여 수행되었다. 본 논문은 이 연구의 제1보로서 채소의 결속작업실태를 조사분석하여 결속기의 개발방향을 설정하고, 채소의 이송 및 결속끈의 공급장치를 개발한 결과를 수록한 것이다. 채소의 결속작업은 철심이 내장된 끈을 사용하여 타원형으로 결속하고 있었으며, 작업자가 경험적으로 계량하여 결속된 단의 크기는 작물별 차이는 있으나 동일 작물에서 작업자간 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 결속기는 작업자가 채소를 공급하면 일정 길이의 결속끈을 사용하여 타원형으로 결속하여 배출하는 방식으로 개발한 필요성이 있다고 생각된다. 이를 위해서 결속기는 작업자가 채소를 용이하게 공급할 수 있으며 결속장치까지 흐트러짐이 없이 이송하는 채소의 이송장치, 결속끈의 길이를 조절하여 공급하는 결속끈의 공급장치, 이송된 채소를 결속끈을 꼬아서 타원형으로 결속하는 결속장치 등으로 구성되어야 할 것이다. 채소의 이송장치는 작업자가 채소의 일정량을 용이하게 공급할 수 있도록 폭의 조절이 가능한 트레이를 체인콘베이어에 부착한 구조, 결속끈의 공급장치는 압축력이 걸려 있는 우레탄 재질의 구동 및 종동롤러로 원하는 길이의 결속끈을 피딩하면 칼날로 절단하는 구조로 개발하였다.

A Study on the Inflow Pattern of Paint according to the Hole Design of the Drum-base in the Pressure-roller (압송롤러 드럼베이스의 홀 설계에 따른 페인트 유입양상에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, the ministry of environment banned the use of the existing airless method using the spray in painting industrial facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a pressure-roller attached to existing airless painting systems. The hole design of the SUS piping and drum-bases of pressure-rollers currently developed and sold have not been studied in detail, so their efficiency is questionable. In particular, if sufficient paint is not supplied to both ends of the roller, it is necessary to rework with a brush after painting. Therefore, the holes of the drum base need to be distributed so that the paint can flow to both ends of the roller. In this study, numerical analysis was performed to determine the effects of the hole design in the SUS piping and drum-base on the flow patterns of the paint and to suggest more efficient design measures. The analysis results showed that the uniform placement of the holes in the SUS piping is good for the balanced inflow of the paint. For the drum-base, the paint can flow better into both ends of the roller when the holes are concentrated and machined on both ends of the drum-base.

  • In the continuous process systems, traction between a moving web and rollers is one of key mechanisms for the study of major issues including the distributed control of tension, guiding, wrinkling, and scratching. Energy is transferred from the driven rollers to the web and from the web to the idle rollers through traction. The characteristics of friction plays a major role in the determination of the traction force between the moving web and the rollers. In this paper, a procedure to determine the frcition coefficient between the moving web and rollers is devoloped. An experimental setup to validate the procedure is devised. Experimental results showed that the value of traction coefficient decreases as the operating web speed increases and increases as the operating web tension and wrap alngle increase.

  • Air entrainment can become a significant problem in a web handling process. The development of air film between a web and an idle roller can cause a reduction of traction and traction coefficient, by which a slip is occurrred. Computational and experimental study was carried out to describe the slippage of an idle roller for given operating conditions, tension and web velocity. An extended mathematical model to find out a slip condition was developed by using the models of air film height, dynamic traction coefficient, and torque balance of a rotational roller. And by using the extended model, a mechanism to define the slippage between the roller and the moving web was suggested. The results of simulation and experiment showed that the extended dynamic model could properly characterize the rotational motion of the idle roller by considering dynamic traction coefficient. By examining the rotational motion of the idle roller with web dynamics(speed), the mechanism to define al slip condition between the roller and the web was found to be effective.

  • 비닐하우스용 운반장치란 일반적으로 농가에 보급되고 있는 비닐하우스의 중앙 상부 도리 재에 이송레일을 설치하고, 운반장치 상단에 부착된 두 개의 롤러를 이송레일에 걸어 수확된 농산물이나 농자재를 운반하는데 사용되는 운반기구를 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 비닐하우스내의 작업에 사용할 목적으로 개발된 운반장치를 아치형 단동하우스에 설치할 경우에 구조해석을 실시하여 운반장치 사용 시 하우스의 구조안전성을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 농가 현지 실측 및 해석용 소프트웨어를 이용한 분석을 수행하였는데, 농가 현지조사를 통해서는 운반장치의 적재량에 따른 하우스의 골조 처짐량을 측정하였으며, 운반장치에 구조물의 안전성 분석을 위해서는 운반장치에 최대하중 작용시, 적설하중, 풍하 중 작용시의 구조적 안전성을 분석하였다. 그리하여 비닐하우스용 운반장치의 사용이나 장치의 설계에 있어 기초적인 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. Performance Assessment for Feeding System of Ultraprecision Machine Tool Driven by friction Drive (마찰구동기구로 구동되는 초정밀 이송계의 특성 평가)

  • The positioning system fur the ultraprecision machine tool should have nanometer order of positioning resolution. For the purpose of achieving that resolution, various feed drive devices have been proposed and currently hydrostatic lead screw and friction drive are paid attention. It is reported that an angstrom resolution can be achieved by using twist-roller friction drive. So we have manufactured ultraprecision feeding system driven by the twist-roller friction drive and perform performance assessment for problem definition and solution finding. As a result, we found that the twist-roller friction drive is mechanically suitable for ultraprecision positioning but some considerations are needed to get higher resolution.

  • This paper introduces the machine tools feed system, which can be optimized the control's performance through simulation and the adjustment of the mechanical components. One method simulates the frequency response of the speed-loop with the design value using the MATLAB application, so that all of the interpolation axis can be equal to the response bandwidth, resulting in a high accuracy rate. The other method sees the mechanical component being adjusted by analyzing the results of various experiments. Lastly, this client's program is able to change the parameters that are related to the FFD, as well as the parameters in the friction compensation of the OPEN-CNC.

  • 본 연구는 시설재배지의 장기재배를 위하여 연작장해를 극복하는 데 필요한 벼재배를 위하여 일손이 부족한 농번기에 생력적인 단동비닐하우스 골조파이프의 설치 및 철거장치 개발을 위한 연구로 수행하였다. 농업용 로더용의 차체와 차륜을 사용하는 전용기로서 단동비닐하우스 골조파이프를 적재하고 1본씩 이송 가능한 4스크류방식의 피딩장치와 타설위치에서 매설깊이를 일정하게 관입할 수 있는 롤러 방식의 그리퍼 및 타설장치로 구성하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 단동비닐하우스 골조파이프를 기계적으로 설치 철거하는 장치를 개발하였으며, 1동 분량의 골조파이프를 적재하여 1본 이송, 피딩, 관입 등이 자동으로 가능하며, 주행하면서 철거가 가능한 장치로 구성하였다. 2. 수작업의 골조파이프 타설작업 시간대비 10배 정도의 노동력 절감효과가 있으며, 농번기와 중노동의 회피, 연작장해 스트레스 경감 등 시설재배농가의 현장애로 해결에 많은 도움이 예상된다. 3. 단동비닐하우스 골조파이프의 설치 및 철거장치를 활용함으로서 연작장해 회피를 위한 수도작의 재배 등 시설재배농가의 안정적인 장기 재배가 가능하여 생산성 향상과 고품질 농산물의 안정적인 공급에도 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on the Forming Load for roller feed rate and Thickness Reduction in the spinning Process of launch vehicle fuel tank dome (돔 형상의 스피닝 가공 공정에서 롤의 이송 속도와 소재의 두께감소에 대한 성형력 연구)

  • Conventional spinning, shear forming and flow forming techniques are being utilized increasingly due to the great flexibility provided for producing complicated parts, enabling customers to optimize designs and reduce weight and cost, all of which are vital, especially in automotive industries, space shuttle, a munitions industry. The deformation mechanism of conventional spinning and shear forming is studied in this paper through analysis. The forming loads of a spin formed dome in an Al launch vehicle fuel tank was studied analysis and a simple FE model to predict the forming loads of the dome was proposed. The analysis is carried out to study the effects of feed rates and thickness reduction on material flow.
