MAC for MIMO Nonlinear System with Delayed Input (시간지연 MIMO 비선형시스템의 MAC 제어기 설계)

  • This paper proposes a digital controller for a nonlinear multi-input/multi-output(MIMO) system with time-delayed input. A nonlinear system with multi-input time delay is discretized using Taylor's discretization method, and the discretized system can be converted into a general nonlinear system. Consequently, general nonlinear controller synthesis can be applied to the discretized time-delay system We adopted MAC controller synthesis and verified the performance of the proposed method by conducting computer simulations. The results of the simulation showed that the proposed controller synthesis performs well and the proposed method is useful for controlling a nonlinear time-delay system.

  • The aim of this paper is to develop a web-based Virtual Learning System for discrete mathematics learning using CAS (Computer Algebra System), The system contains a series of contents that are common between secondary und university curriculum in discrete mathematics such as sets, relations, matrices, graphs etc. We designed and developed web-based virtual learning contents contained in the proposed system based on Mathematia, webMathematica and phpMath taking advantages of rapid computation and visualization. The virtual learning system for discrete math provides movie lectures and 'practice mode' authored with phpMath in order to enhance conceptual understanding of each movie lesson. In particular, matrix learning is facilitated with conceptual diagram that provides interactive quizzes. Once the quiz results are submitted, Bayesian inference network diagnoses strong and weak parts of learning nodes for generating diagnostic reports to facilitate personalized learning. As part of formative evaluation, the overall responses were collected for future revision of the system with 10 university students.

  • When it comes to design and acquire underwater vehicles such as a submarine and a torpedo according to the process of SBA(Simulation Based Acquisition)/SBD(Simulation Based Design), it is necessary to predict the performance of interest precisely and to perform the test over and over again using the M&S(Modeling and Simulation) of the engineering and the engagement level. In this paper, we research the DEVS(Discrete Event System Specification) and DTSS(Discrete Time System Specification) formalism based standard model architecture for the underwater vehicle which can support both the heterogeneous level of the M&S(Engineering/Engagement) and the different system of the M&S(Discrete Event System and Discrete Time System). To validate this standard modeling architecture, we apply it to the submarine normal diving simulation.

  • In this paper, we studied a discrete-time queuing system that operates under a mixed situation of D-policy and T-policy, one of the representative server control policies in queuing theory. A single server serves customers arriving by Bernoulli arrival process on a first-in, first-out basis(FIFO). If there are no customers to serve in the system, the server goes on vacation and returns, until the total service time (i.e., total amount of workload) of waiting customers exceeds predetermined workload threshold D. The operation of the system covered in this study can be used to model the efficient resource utilization of mobile devices using secondary batteries. In addition, it is significant in that the steady state waiting time and system sojourn time of the queuing system under a flexible mixed control policy were derived within a unified framework.

  • A general discretization method for input-driven nonlinear continuous time-delay systems is proposed, which can be applied to general order sampling hold assumptions. It is based on a combination of Taylor series expansion and the theories of sampling and hold. The mathematical structure of the new discretization scheme is introduced in detail. The performance of the proposed discretization procedure is evaluated by two degrees of systems. The results show that the proposed scheme is applicable to control systems.

  • Diffic-Hellman의 공개키 암호 프로토콜이 제안된 이후 이산 대수 문제의 어려움이 프로토콜의 안전도와 깊이 연관되었다. 유한체를 이용한 암호 기법을 EIGamal 이 세웠으나, Index-Calculus 알고리듬에 의해 유한체위에서 이산 대수 문제가 subexponential 알고리듬이 되어 기법의 안전도가 약해졌다. Nonsupersingular 타원 곡선을 선택하여 유한체대신 EIGamal 암호 기법에 적용하면 안전한 암호 시스템을 설계할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 컴퓨터 구현시 용이한 nonsupersingular 타원곡선을 선택하는 방법, 유한체위에서의 연산, 평문을 타원 곡선의 원소로 끼워넣기(imbedding) 하는 방법등 타원 곡선을 암호 시스템에 적용하기 어려운 점들에 대한 해결 방법을 소개하고, 실제로 EIGamal기법을 컴퓨터로 구현하여 그 실행 결과를 밝혔다.

  • 최근 분산전원 시스템 개발로 인해 계통연계 인버터의 사용이 증가해 왔다. 계통연계 인버터의 주요한 역할은 계통연계 환경에서의 안정적인 운전과 계통 사고 시 중요 부하에 대한 연속적인 전력을 공급하기 위한 독립운전에 있다. 각 모드 전환시의 출력전압의 변동성과 과도응답 특성을 개선하기 위해 최근 다중 루프 및 간접 전류 제어 방식이 계통연계 인버터에 적용되었다. 하지만 이러한 제어 방식은 캐패시터 전압 및 인버터 전류의 측정이 요구되어 시스템의 비용 및 복잡성을 증가시키게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이산시간 상태공간에서의 전상태 관측기를 설계하여 무순단 절체 동작 시 제어기가 요구하는 변수를 추정하고 이를 궤환신호로 사용하여 시스템의 설계 비용 및 복잡성을 줄인다. 또한 계통연계 시 계통유입 고조파 전류를 억제하기 위해 일반적으로 사용되는 기존 공진형 제어기의 과도 응답을 개선하기 위해 이산시간에서 슬라이딩 모드와 공진제어기가 결합된 새로운 제어기 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 기법의 타당성은 PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통하여 입증된다.

Design of Intelligent Controller with Time Delay for Internet-Based Remote Control (인터넷 기반 원격제어를 위한 임의의 시간지연을 갖는 지능형 제어기의 설계)

  • This paper discusses a design of intelligent controller with time delay for Internet-based remote control. The finite Markovian process is adopted to model the input delay of the overall control system. It is assumed that the zero and hold devices are used for control input. The Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy system with uncertain input delay is utilized to represent nonlinear plant. The continuous-time T-S fuzzy system with the Markovian input delay is discretized for easy handling delay, accordingly, the discretized T-S fuzzy system is represented by a discrete-time T-S fuzzy system with jumping parameters. The robust stochastic stabilizibility of the jump T-S fuzzy system is derived and formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). An experimental results is provided to visualize the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • The DEVS (Discrete Event Systems Specification) formalism supports specification of discrete event models in a hierarchical modular manner. MATLAB/Simulink is widely used for modeling, simulating and analyzing continuous and discrete time systems. This paper proposes a realization of the DEVS formalism in MATLAB/ Simulink. The proposed design enables to use a great amount of mathematical packages and functions included in MATLAB /Simulink. The design is also employed as real time simulation and hybrid system simulation which is a mixture of continuous systems and discrete event systems. The paper introduces Simulink-DEVS model, in which a simulation algorithm is embedded. The model consists of a Simulink-atomic model and a Simulink-coupled model. In addition, the time advance algorithm to simulate the model is suggested. The algorithm handles the time synchronization and the accommodation of different concepts specific to continuous and discrete event models. Two experimental results are presented for a pure discrete event model and a hybrid model.

Stability Condition for Discrete Interval System with Unstructured Uncertainty and Time-Varying Delay Time (비구조화된 불확실성과 시변 지연 시간을 갖는 이산 구간 시스템의 안정조건)

  • In this paper, we deal with the stability condition of linear interval discrete systems with time-varying delays and unstructured uncertainty. For the interval discrete system which has interval matrix as its system matrices, time-varying delay time within some interval value and unstructured uncertainty which can include non-linearity and be expressed by only its magnitude, the stability condition is proposed. Compared with the previous result derived by using a upper bound solution of the Lyapunov equation, the new results are derived by the form of simple inequality based on Lyapunov stability condition and have the advantage of being more effective in stability application. Furthermore, the proposed stable conditions are very comprehensive and powerful, including the previously published stable conditions of various linear discrete systems. The superiority of the new condition is proven in the derivation process, and the utility and superiority of the proposed condition are examined through numerical example.
