The Study on Searching Algorithm of the center of Pupil for the Iris Recognition (홍채 인식을 위한 동공 중심점 탐색 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Iris recognition is a bio metric personal identification which uses iris pattern of the pupil, and it is recognized as one of the best technology in personal identification and information security field. Before iris recognition, it is very important to search center of pupil. In recent years, there was developed many searching algorithms of center of pupil, but all most method are too many processing time. In this paper, we proposed a new method for searching center of pupil. This method is greatly reduced processing time about 30% compared with other algorithm using Hough transformation.

  • 일반 사용자가 현재 접할 수 있는 무선인터넷은 SMS를 활용한 문자 형식의 정보제공이 대부분이고 유선의 인터넷과 같이 멀티미디어 서비스 그리고 실시간 전송속도, 사용자 환경, 거기에 보안 서비스까지 유선의 인터넷 서비스와는 비교가 되지 않게 그 이용환경이 열악한 상황이다. 오늘날 원격 환경의 진료시스템이 개발되고 있는데, 이들 시스템은 미래의 원격진료 즉. 병원에 직접가지 않고 집에서 바로 혈압, 심박수 등을 검사 받을 수 있는 시스템 개발의 기본이 되고 있다. 그리고 정보통신의 발전으로 모바일 PC 즉, 개인 휴대용 단말기(PDA:Personal Digital Assistants)가 의료분야에서 PC를 대체하여 이동성, 편리성을 제공하는 전자 차트를 선보이고 있다. 그러나 PDA는 작은 몸체로 이동성 및 편리성 등이 PC보다 뛰어나지만 해상도가 큰 이미지, 높은 처리 속도를 요구하는 작업등을 처리하기에는 효율성이 낮은 문제점이 있다. 또한 정보를 공유 할 수 있는 데이터를 무선 환경으로 처리해야 하기 때문에 환자와 관련된 의료 영상 즉, MRI 사진이나 X-ray 사진 등을 의료 환경에 이용하는 데는 보안의 문제점을 가지고 있다 따라서 본 논문에서는 매우 빠르게 발전하고 있는 진단과 치료기술을 이러한 의료를 필요로 하는 사람들에게 제공하는 접근성의 보장 문제를 해결할 수 있는 대안으로 무선 환경의 의료 인증시스템을 제안 하고자 한다.

  • 기존 도어락의 핀 인증 방식은 사용자에 따라 불편함을 느끼기도 한다. 이에 대한 솔루션으로 안면인식 도어락을 제안하며 Jetson nano에 face recognition 딥러닝 모델을 적용한 도어락을 제작한다. 거주자의 이미지를 촬영한 뒤 얼굴의 특징점을 분석하여 저장한다. 사용자가 도어락의 카메라에 인식되었을 때 저장된 안면 정보를 바탕으로 사용자가 거주자의 특징점과 일치하는지 확인한다. 거주자임이 인지되었을 때 도어락은 unlock되어 열리게 된다. 안면 인식 도어락 사용 시 보안상 취약해질 수 있는 기존 도어락의 핀 인증 방식에 대해 보안을 강화할 수 있으며 카메라를 통해 촬영된 사용자의 사진 및 영상을 활용하여 여러 서비스를 적용할 수 있다.

Reversible Data Hiding based on QR Code for Binary Image (이진 이미지를 위한 QR 코드 기반의 가역적인 데이터 은닉)

  • QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is code system that is strong in against to apply image processing techniques (skew, warp, blur, and rotate) as QR codes can store several hundred times the amount of information carried by ordinary bar codes. For this reason, QR code is used in various fields, e.g., air ticket (boarding control system), food(vegetables, meat etc.) tracking system, contact lenses management, prescription management, patient wrist band (patient management) etc. In this paper, we proposed reversible data hiding for binary images. A reversible data hiding algorithm, which can recover the original image without any distortion from the marked (stego) image after the hidden data have been extracted, because it is possible to use various kinds of purposes. QR code can be used to generate by anyone so it can be easily used for crime. In order to prevent crimes related QR code, reversible data hiding can confirm if QR code is counterfeit or not as including authentication information. In this paper, we proved proposed method as experiments.

  • The Occupational health and safety is an important factor in the competitiveness of an enterprise. In this paper, activation strategies of OHSMS(Occupational health and safety management system) were systematically and quantitatively analyzed and suggested using SWOT/AHP(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, Threat/Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis. In these results, activation strategies of this system can be suggested as followings ; Making worker safety-friendly image of enterprise, developing the quantitative indices related to management results in accreditation programs of OHSMS, constructing the relationship between OHSMS and product safety management, and developing the customized integrated accreditation system.

  • Interest about a latest security connection technology rises, and try to overcome security vulnerability Certification about on-line user methods through fingerprint that is biometries information apply. In this study, designs and implements fingerprint recognition system that is invariant to rotation by fingerprint recognition system for certification about on-line user. Proposed method focused in matching process through pre-process of fingerprint image, feature point extraction. Improved process time and correct recognition rate in fingerprint recognition system that is invariant to rotation presented in existing study. Also, improved noise, distortion problems that happen in preprocess of existing study applying directional Laplacian filter.

  • Biometric technology using finger veins is receiving a lot of attention due to its high security, convenience and accuracy. And the recent development of deep learning technology has improved the processing speed and accuracy for authentication. However, the training data is a subset of real data not in a certain order or method and the results are not constant. so the amount of data and the complexity of the artificial neural network must be considered. In this paper, the deep learning model of Inception-Resnet-v2 was used to improve the high accuracy of the finger vein recognizer and the performance of the authentication system, We compared and analyzed the performance of the deep learning model of DenseNet-201. The simulations used data from MMCBNU_6000 of Jeonbuk National University and finger vein images taken directly. There is no preprocessing for the image in the finger vein authentication system, and the results are checked through EER.

Handwritten One-time Password Authentication System Based On Deep Learning (심층 학습 기반의 수기 일회성 암호 인증 시스템)

  • Inspired by the rapid development of deep learning and online biometrics-based authentication, we propose a handwritten one-time password authentication system which employs deep learning-based handwriting recognition and writer verification techniques. We design a convolutional neural network to recognize handwritten digits and a Siamese network to compute the similarity between the input handwriting and the genuine user's handwriting. We propose the first application of the second edition of NIST Special Database 19 for a writer verification task. Our system achieves 98.58% accuracy in the handwriting recognition task, and about 93% accuracy in the writer verification task based on four input images. We believe the proposed handwriting-based biometric technique has potential for use in a variety of online authentication services under the FIDO framework.

A Study for Analyzing the Outcome of the Accreditation System of the Extracurriculum: Focused on the Case of K University (비교과 인증제 성과 분석 연구: K 대학의 사례를 중심으로)

  • Competency cannot be transformed as knowledge, so the operation of competency-based curriculum requires support from the extracurriculum that gives many opportunities practical experience. Therefore, many universities establish the own extracurricular courses by using much financial, human, and physical infrastructure. However, it is doubtful whether the extracurriculum is effective on cultivating competencies, what kinds of programs is useful to nurture right abilities, how to assess the outcome of implementing of the extracurriculum. For these reason, the accreditation system, that awards to student who accomplish certain programs based on the given standard, has been used as the tool to manage outcome achieved by the extracurriculum. This study aimed to investigate the outcome of the accreditation system of K university in order to verify its effectiveness for cultivating competencies through the extracurriculum. Through the analysis of prior research, it could be inferred that students who achieved the accreditation system would be able to cultivate relevant competencies, improve major abilities, and instill a positive image of related administrative departments while participating in various programs. Thus, this study collected data of those who achieved the accreditation and did not by participating at least once in extracurricular program from March 2020 to February 2021 to compare their results of the diagnosis of core competencies and student circumstances, and survey of educational satisfaction and interpreted interviews of 10 students, excellent certifier. As a result, it was verified that the more evenly participating in various programs to achieve the accreditation system, the more diverse competency was obtained, and the satisfaction with the student support department and major education was improved.

A Study on the Recognition of Hand Vein Pattern using Graph Theory (그래프 이론에 의한 손 정맥 패턴 인식에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we proposed an algorithm for personal identification of dorsal surface pattern of hand vein pattern using graph theory. Using dense ranee data images of the hand vein pattern, we used matching algorithm within the frame work of graph theory for the determination of the desired correspondence. Through preprocessing, the captured images are more sharp, clear and thinning. After thinning, the images are normalized and make graph with node and edge set. This normalized graph can make adjacent matrix. Each adjacent matrix from individual vein pattern are different. From examining the performance of individual vein patterns, we can approach performances well kind biometric technique.
