Despite the ubiquity of mobile phone, the medium has received far less scholarly attention than it should deserve. This study begin with the purpose of fair repositioning of mobile phone in Korean interpersonal communication. To accomplish this purpose, We examined the effect of communication values on perception of mobile phone as interpersonal communication medium, such as the appropriateness and effectiveness of mobile phone. The related raw data were collected from on-line survey process, and statistically analyzed. The result showed that the more effect the traditional communication values of our society have on the perception of mobile phone, the older users are. And Younger generations tend to have more positive attitude to mobile phone as interpersonal communication medium. Particularly when the seniors are interpersonal communication partner and impending task is advice or request, younger persons tend to perceive mobile phone more appropriate and effective than the elder persons do. Thus, it is plausible to predict that relative position of mobile phone will be gradually more important in Koreans' social communication when the younger generation become the mainstream of our society.

CDMA 무선 이동전화 서비스가 대중화됨에 따라 사업자의 무선 망 환경도 보다 넓은 지역과 시스템 용량의 확대가 절실히 요구되기 시작했으며, 우리나라의 지형적 특성과 인구 밀집도의 특수성으로 인해 최적의 무선환경을 설계하는데 있어서 많은 음영지역에 대한 대책이 필요하게 됐다. 이러한 대책으로 중계기시스템이 도입되었고 이로 인해 이동전화 통화 품질 향상을 이루어 왔다. 중계기의 이동전화 서비스 장애 유무와 상태에 대한 모니터링은 이동 통신 사업자의 공통된 관심사가 되어왔다. 이를 위해 중계기 Network 관리 기술이 도입되었으며, 이 기술은 지금까지 이동 통신의 세대별 발전 과정에 발맞추어 발전해 왔다. 향후 도입될 제4세대 이동 통신 서비스의 환경에 맞게 발전할 것이다.

경쟁이 도입된 통신시장에는 사업자간에 공정경쟁을 촉진하고 가입자에게는 사업자 선택의 폭을 증대시켜 주는 서비스제공자 번호이동성이 도입되고 있다. 이동전화시장에도 최근 영국을 비롯한 선진 통신국을 중심으로 번호이동성 서비스를 제공 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동전화의 번호이동성 제공기술들을 살펴보고, ETSI 에서 표준화하고 있는 네트워크 solution의 요구기능을 검토하여 이동전화의 번호이동성 제공기술의 장.단점을 비교 분석하였다. 또한 국내 도입 시 바람직한 기술적 제공방안이 선택될 수 있도록 국내 적용을 위한 사전 고려사항을 제시하였다.

The network configuration of SMS number moving service is a very important factor to improve the user convenience to Internet Telephone. To provide the service, The SMSC system is required the the function of DB process and management of the subscriber, In case of SMSG system to interconnects with the other network and SMSC, the function of the call processing of subscriber who has changed his number by interconnecting with NPDB(Number Portability DB) is required. This paper had studied the way to consist the efficient network by the number moving technique.

이동전화 번호이동성 구현을 위한 망기능 규격은 ACQ 방식으로 이동전화 번호이동성(Mobile Number Portability, MNP)을 irnt-2000 이동전화 상호간에 제공하기 위한 망의 기능구조 및 정보흐름을 규정한다. 본 논문에서는 번호이동성 요구사항에 따라, 소요되는 망기능 및 시스템 기능을 정의하고, 이들 기능간에 주고받는 정보를 규정한다. 본 논문은 번호이동성에 따른 SMS(Short Message Service)의 처리방법 또한 규정한다.

번호이동성은 전화 가입자가 전화망 사업자, 지역, 사용서비스의 종류 등을 변경하여도 원래 사용하던 전화번호를 변경하지 않고 계속 사용할 수 있는 서비스를 말하며, 사용자의 이익 및 통신사업자간 공정한 경쟁 등을 위하여 필요한 기능이다. 즉, 이용자가 통신품질의 저하 없이 그 사업자를 변경하여도 전화번호를 바꾸지 않고 동일 한 전화번호를 이용할 수 있는 것을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 국내에서 서비스되는 번호이동성 서비스 방식에서 SMS(Short Message Service)를 지원하기 위한 이동통신의 번호이동성 처리구조 및 호처리 구조에 대하여 고찰한다.

본 논문은 주파수공용통신 시스템과 디지털 이동전화 시스템간의 양립성에 관해 분석하였다. 이 분석의 목적은 주파수공용통신 시스템의 기지국의 불요방사로부터 디지털 이동전화 시스템 이동국에 야기하는 간섭확률을 몬테카를로 방법을 이용하여 계산하여 양립성을 분석하는 것이다.

본 논문은 Wibro가 제공하는 VoIP 서비스의 번호이동성에 따르는 호처리 시스템, 즉 Wibro와 이동전화간, Wibro와 유선 인터넷전화간, Wibro와 시내전화간 번호이동성을 처리하기 위한 망의 기능구조 및 정보흐름을 규정한다. 본 논문에서는 번호이동성 요구사항에 따라, 소요되는 번호이동성 시스템의 구조와 망기능 및 시스템 기능을 정의하고, 이들 기능간에 주고받는 정보를 규정한다.

Mobile Number Portability means a network capability that users can change service provider while retaining a legacy mobile phone number. Therefore, n provides users with convenience to select service provider comparing service's quality and rate without changing a phone number. in our country, 2G MNP service of QoR method is going to serve in January, 2004. 전화를 거는 발신자의 전화번호를 통화 전에 수신자 전화기의 액정화면에 표시해주는 발신자표시(CID: Caller ID)서비스가 국내에서도 도래했다. 한국통신, 하나로통신 등 유선 전화사업자 및 SK텔레콤, 한통프리텔, LG텔레콤 등 이동전화 사업자들은 지난 4월 1일부터 일제히 발신번호표시 시범서비스를 개시했다. 사업자들은 시범서비스에 이어 5월부터 상용화에 돌입한다는 방침이다.
