Young-Jung Kim's Presupposition Logic Program (김영정 교수의 선제논리 프로그램)

  • After the unexpected death of the late professor Young-Jung Kim on July 28th last year, 4 pieces of paper unpublished were discovered. Those papers reveal that he had a grand program. In particular, we found that he had his own ideas and theory which he called "Presupposition Logic" and "Field Logic". In this paper, I will call his program "Presupposition Logic Program". He explored a new logic system, Presupposition Logic, in order to realize necessity and possibility of the closer relationship between logic and critical thinking. In this paper, I will expound what his "presupposition" and "Presupposition Logic" are and why he thought Presupposition Logic is necessary from a perspective of logic. And I will critically elucidate what was the problem that troubled him.

논리함수의 Module-2 방식에 의한 신경회로망의 구성

  • 본 논문은 논리함수의 Module-2 방식에 따라 신경회로망을 구성하고, 구성된 신 경회로망에 의해서 논리함수 XOR을 예를 들어 표현하였다. 논리함수에서 사용된 Module-2 방식은 2치자료를 처리하는 것으로, 논리함수의 대표적인 것이 부울함수(Boole function)이 다. 신경회로망의 입력층에서는 논리함수의 값을 입력하고, 중간층에서는 논리함수의 직교 전개를 이용하고, 출력층에서도 직교전개등을 통하여 최종적인 결과값을 얻는 것이다. 이를 위해서 내적(inner product) 및 norm등을 정의하고, 직교(orthogonal)에 대한 정의를 하였 다. 또한, 부울함수(Boole Function)의 미분에 대한 정의 및 부울함수의 Maclaurin 전개에 대해서도 정의하였다. 본 논문에서 논리함수의 최종적인 출력값은 부울함수의 Maclaurin 전 개에 의해서도 실제적인 값이 출력될 수 있다는 것을 나타내었다.

  • 복잡한 시스템의 설계 또는 연구에서 무엇보다도 중요한 것은 조합설계의 원리를 완전해 이해하는데 있으며 여기서 기술한 조합개폐회로이론은 그 기초가 된다. 조합논리회로란, 출력이 입력의 현재상태에만 전적으로 종속되는 회로를 의미한다. 조합설계의 주목적은 최소수의 소자로 우리가 원하는 개폐특성을 실현하는 회로를 설계할 수 있는 능력을 부여하는데 있다. 이 장에서는 논리함수, 논리식의 표현형식, 논리식의 간단화 및 이들 기법이 실지 조합개폐회로의 설계에 어떻게 적용되는가를 실례를 통하여 기술한다.

  • Previous researches on the effect of programming learning upon logical thinking ability have used a standardized test to measure logical thinking ability in the general and comprehensive aspect after programming learning. Considering that the areas of intelligence are separated from one another and work independently, the existing standardized tool to measure general and comprehensive logical thinking ability has a limitation in measuring a logical thinking ability required at specific areas. Thus this study extracted logical thinking and its sub-factors related to computer programming and suitable for the level of cognitive development through analyzing standardized test sheets at home and abroad, and developed logical thinking test I and II of the same form according to a development procedure model. The result of verifying the developed logical thinking tests proved that the two tests are logical thinking tests of the same form. The developed tests can be utilized in identifying the effect of programming learning upon logical thinking and its sub-factors.

  • 본 논문에서는 Type-2 퍼지 논리 시스템을 설계하고, 불확실한 정보를 갖는 입력 데이터에 대하여 Type-1 퍼지 논리 시스템과 성능을 비교한다. Type-1 퍼지 논리 시스템은 외부 잡음에 민감한 단점을 가지고 있는 반면, Type-2 퍼지 논리 시스템은 불확실한 정보를 잘 표현 할 수 있다. 따라서 Type-2 퍼지 논리 시스템을 이용하여 이러한 단점을 극복 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통하여 기존의 Type-1 퍼지 논리 시스템 보다 Type-2 퍼지 논리 시스템이 효율적 이라는 것을 보인다.

흄의 원리와 암묵적 정의

  • 이 논문의 목적은 "왜 프레게는 공리 V 대신 흄의 원리를 기본 원리로 삼지 않았을까?"라는 물음에 답하는 데 있다. 이 물음은 프레게 철학의 해석에 관한 물음이기도 하지만, 최근의 새로운 논리주의의 기획이 정당한가를 묻는 물음이 기도 하다. 이 물음에 답하기 위해, 나는 프레게 철학의 틀 안에서 흄의 원리를 공리로 삼는 방안과 정의로 삼는 방안을 차례로 살펴보았다. 우리 논의를 통해 흄의 원리를 공리로 간주하는 방안은 프레게의 논리주의 기획이나 공리관과 어울리지 않으며, 그것을 정의로 간주하는 방안 또한 그의 정의관과 어울리지 않는다는 점을 밝힌다. 나아가 흄의 원리를 기수 개념의 암묵적 정의로 간주하려는 시도가 해결해야 할 문제가 어떤 것인지를 규명하였다.

  • Alarm system is very important for the safety of nuclear power plant. When alarm, operator refers alarm logic diagrams to identify the logical relationship between the alarm and its causes. This paper propose a system which tracks the logical path between alarm and its causes on the alarm logic diagrams of Wolsung nuclear power plant unit 3 & 4. And a grammar for the validation of logic diagrams expressed in 2 dimensional strings, and logical operations with 3 states to track alarm-cause paths and to display the state of logics are proposed. This system is on operation at Wolsung site.

The Relationship between Conservation Reasoning and Functional Prefrontal Lobe in Elementary School Students (초등학교 저학년 학생의 전두엽연합령의 기능과 보존논리 형성과의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • Conservation reasoning makes operational thought possible as a functional tool and it is the essential concept not only in the area of science and mathematics but also in several aspects of daily life. The abilities to solve mathematical problems and that of scientific reasoning and abstract way of thinking depend on whether thereis conservation reasoning or not and they are critical concepts that enables us to confirm the steps of cognitive development. Therefor in the study, we emphasized the issue that is the ways to speed up the scientific era by analyzing the correlation between the formation of conservation reasoning and neuro-cognitive variables. About 50% of 1-3 grade students did not had conservation reasoning skills. The formation of conservations was not linear. Scientific reasoning ability, planing and inhibiting ability were significantly different in levels of conservation, And, conservation reasonings were significantly correlated with cognitive variables. Scientific reasoning and planning ability significantly explained about 20% of the conservation reasoning ability of 1-3 grades.

Logic as grammar: Wittgenstein’s view of logic (문법으로서의 논리 ― 비트겐슈타인의 논리관 ―)

  • In accordance with his belief that philosophical problems arise from misunderstandings of the logic of our language, Wittgenstein's philosophical investigations were always focused on the problems of logic of language. Indeed, it can be said that his investigations were logical investigations. But what was the logic as conceived by him? He regarded logic as grammar from the beginning, but between his two different philosophical periods, there were important changes in his conceptions of grammar. In his earlier period, he understood the logic of language as the truth-functional syntax realizable in an ideal notation, while in his later period he regarded logic as the rules of language-use in various language games. It was a change from viewing logic as an ideally strict and universal system in which every logical possibilities are determined to viewing logic as an open system of non-strict grammatical rules specific to each language game. This paper deals with the gists of his earlier and later views on logic and the reasons for the change of his views, including specifically the reasons for the change of his views concerning the autonomy and necessity of logic as grammar.
