Study on Extraction of Sub-element and Construction of System Model for the Technological Communication Skills (기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소 추출과 체제모형 구축)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract of Sub-elements of technological communication skills and to construct of a system model. In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was carried out in two steps: (1)Extraction sub-elements and definitions of technological communication skills, (2)Development of a system model of technological communication skills. Obtained conclusions by the process of this research were as follows. First, sub-elements of the technological communication skills were extracted and they were images, sketches, flowcharts, drawings, prototyping, symbols tables graphs and presentations. Second, using the 'technological communication tools' based on the "collaborative activities in online and offline', technological communication skills were defined as communication skills to be raised through the process of 'Idea through the Communication', 'Realization through the Communication', 'Wrap up through the Communication'. Third, technological communication skills were described as the system, in which 'Idea through the Communication(images, sketches, flowcharts)', 'Realization through the Communication(design, prototyping)', 'Wrap up through the Communication(symbol table graph, presentation)' were collaboratively activated. Fourth, checking tool for the technological communication skills was developed, based on checking tool for the existing communication skills and system model for technological communication skills. And it was improved by the expert validity test.

Relation of Day-care Teachers' Communicative Competence and Family-Teacher Communication (보육교사의 의사소통능력과 가족-교사 간 의사소통의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relation of day-care teachers' communicative competence and family-teacher communication. One hundred and fifty five teachers in day-care centers in Gyeonggi-do Suwon-si participated in the study and descriptive, correlation, multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows: First, the communicative competence of day-care teachers differed according to their age, education and career level and their type of institute. Second, the family-teacher communication level of day-care teachers differed according to their education level and their type of institute. Thirds, the communicative competence of day-care teachers had a statistically significant positive correlation to family-teacher communication.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 정신간호실습을 위해 역할극을 활용한 의사소통능력 강화 프로그램을 적용하고, 그 효과를 검정하기 위함이다. 적용된 프로그램은 실제 실습현장에서 접하기 쉬운 사례를 바탕으로 시뮬레이션의 한 방법인 역할극을 주요한 교수방법으로 구성하여 적용하었다. 역할극을 활용한 의사소통능력 강화 프로그램을 통해 간호대학생들은 의사소통 지식과 의사소통 수행능력, 의사소통 자기효능감, 학습동기 및 교육만족도 향상에 효과적이었다.

A Comparison Analysis of Scientific Communication Skills Between Gifted Students and General Students (영재와 일반 학생의 과학적 의사소통능력 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare scientific communication skills between the gifted students and the general students. Subjects were 60 gifted students of the Institute for The Gifted Education and 69 general elementary school students. Scientific communication skills were classified into two types - scientific explanation and opinion, and four forms - letter, number, table, and figure. The results of this study were as follows: Gifted students' Scientific Communication Skills is better than ordinary students'. Detailed findings are following. Independent sample t-test performed on type and form of Scientific Communication Skills used by students showed significant difference between two groups. This result gave important information about tendency of each group.

Convergence Study about Awareness toward communication, Communication ability and Self-efficacy : Centered on the 'S' University college students (의사소통 인식과 의사소통능력 및 자기효능감에 대한 융합연구 -S대학 융복합 수강생을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of the convergence study is to confirm the relevance between communication awareness and communication ability and communication self-efficacy. The subjects were 128 college students studying convergence education. They answered to a self-report questionnaire during March 13 to 24, 2017. The instrument for Awareness toward communication, Communication ability, Communication self-efficacy was done by Likert 5 point scale. Data was analyzed by technical statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and post-hoc Scheffe test using SPSS/Win 21.0 program. As a result, awareness toward communication level $3.50{\pm}.41$ point, communication ability $3.32{\pm}.38$ point and communication self-efficacy $3.00{\pm}.40$ among. Communication Awareness was positively correlated with communication ability level and communication self-efficacy. If there is an intervention program that improve the level of communication self-efficacy, it is expected to enhance the communication ability.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare emotional intelligence, facilitative communication ability and communication conflict among psychiatric nurse and clinical nurse to improve nurse's emotional intelligence and facilitative communication ability in each clinical field, it was attempted to provide basic data to search for alternatives to reduce communication conflict. Data were analyzed using ANCOVA with SPSS/WIN 20. Finally, emotional intelligence, facilitative communication ability and communication conflicts in clinical nurses higher than psychiatric nurses. These results indicate that need to develope a variety of clinical programs to promote facilitative communication ability and to enhance emotional intelligence of psychiatric nurses and to reduce communication conflicts of clinical nurses.

Mediating Effect of Communication Ability on Relationships among Self-awareness, Empathy, Emotional Intelligence and Interpersonal Competence of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자기인식, 공감능력, 감성지능과 대인관계역량의 관계에서 의사소통능력의 매개효과)

  • The study was done to investigate the mediating effects of communication ability on the relationship among self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence of nursing students. Data on subject's self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence were collected using a structured self-reporting questionnaire. During September and December 2019, data were collected from 282 nursing students in J and K cities. Data were analyzed using three-step mediated regression analysis with the SPSS WIN 21.0 programs. Self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and communication ability were positively correlated with interpersonal competence of nursing students. Also, communication ability had a partial mediating effect on the relationship among self-awareness, empathy, emotion intelligence and interpersonal competence. These finding indicate that it will be more effective to education strategies that can increase self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and communication ability together when developing education programs that improve interpersonal competence.

The Study on the Effect of Ego-resilience, Empathic Ability of Preliminary Broadcasters on Communication Ability : Focusing on General Characteristics (예비방송인들의 자아탄력성, 공감능력이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향 연구 : 일반적 특성을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of ego-resilience, empathic ability of preliminary broadcasters on communication ability and to explore what university should do. The subjects of the study analyzed the relationship between self-resilience, empathic ability and communication ability among 333 preliminary broadcasters in the journal and broadcasting, media related departments of five universities in Busan. As a result of the research analysis, first, the preliminary broadcasters had the highest empathic ability, followed by communication ability and ego-resilience. Second, ego resilience according to the general characteristics of preliminary broadcasters was significantly different according to gender, major satisfaction, and club activities. There were significant differences according to satisfaction and club activities. Third, the correlation between ego resilience, empathic ability, and communication ability of preliminary broadcasters has a significant static correlation, and the correlation between empathic ability and communication ability is the highest. Fourth, the factors influencing communication ability were empathic ability, ego resilience, and gender. It will be meaningful as a study that the factors influencing communication ability related to preliminary broadcasters are empathic and ego resilience. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a plan such as opening a curriculum to improve the communication ability of preliminary broadcasters.

A study on the Influence of Empathy Ability and Sense of Humor on the Communication Ability of Psychiatric Nurses (정신간호사의 공감능력과 유머감각이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this descriptive study was to examine the degree and the relationship among empathy ability, sense of humor and communication ability of psychiatric nurses and to understand factors which influence on communication ability. Data were collected from 219 psychiatric nurses in B and G city and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. The degree of communication ability in psychiatric nurses was 3.59±.43. There were significant differences in communication ability with respect to sense of humor(r=.53, p<.001), and also between communication ability and empathy ability(r=.39, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 34.4%(F=29.56, p<.001). In conclusion, these findings indicate that the higher sense of humor and empathy ability of psychiatric nurses, the higher communication ability. Accordingly, to improve the communication ability of psychiatric nurses, educational programs to improve sense of humor and empathy ability of psychiatric nurses should be developed and utilized

Analysis of Relationships of Scientific Communication Skills, Science Process Skills, Logical Thinking Skills, and Academic Achievement Level of Elementary School Students (초등학생의 과학적 의사소통능력과 과학 탐구능력, 논리적 사고력, 학업 성취도 수준과의 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to acquire teaching insights for improving scientific literacy by analyzing the effects of scientific communication skills, science process skills, and logical thinking skills of elementary school students on academic achievement level. The participants are 64, sixth grade elementary school students. Survey materials include the results of Scientific Communication Skill Test (SCST), Test of Science Process Skills (TSPS), Group Assessment of Logical Thinking (GALT), multiple choice test & short answer test, descriptive answer test on science, and academic achievement level test on all subjects. Based on these data, the study analyzed the relationships of science process skills, logical thinking skills, and scientific communication skills, and each category's effect on academic achievement level. Furthermore, under the assumption that scientific communication skills are affected by science process skills and logical thinking skills and directly influence the academic level, the research discovered three types of correlations as a structural model. The results show that there are considerable correlations in scientific communication skills, science process skills, and logical thinking skills. Also, these three abilities have meaningful correlations with learner's writing and descriptive question level on science curriculum and overall academic achievement level; the level of correlation differ a bit by subcategory factors. In conclusion, setting the model, science process skills and logical thinking skills influence scientific communication skill, and the skill directly influences the learner's academic level. Further analysis of the results show that scientific communication skill influences the academic achievement level of all subjects the most.
