컴퓨터 바둑에 대한 기존연구에서는 형세를 판단하거나 행마를 하기 위해 게임이론에 입각한 인공지능적 알고리즘을 주로 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 틀에서 벗어나 각 착점의 의미를 언어학적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 바둑 용어를 의미에 따라 구분하여 정리하였고 분류된 용어에 대하여 세분화된 의미특성을 부여하였다. 정리한 용어를 활용하여 각 착점이 반상에서 가지는 역학관계를 표현하고 그 의미를 해석할 수 있게 하였다. 이를 토대로 각 착점의 가치를 수치화할 수도 있게 되었다. 이러한 분석과 분류는 바둑 한판의 내용을 이야기로 보는데 있어서 그 기초를 제공한다.

In this paper, we propose a Web page weighting scheme using the user preference in each sense of query word to improve the performance of Web search. Generally search engines assign weights to a web page by using relevancy only, which is obtained by comparing the query word and the words in a web page. In the information retrieval from huge data such as the Web, simple word comparison cannot distinguish important documents because there exist too many documents with similar relevancy In this paper we implement a WordNet-based user interface that helps to distinguish different senses of query word, and constructed a search engine in which the implicit evaluations by multiple users are reflected in ranking by accumulating the number of clicks. In accumulating click counts, they are stored separately according to senses, so that more accurate search is possible. The experimental results with several keywords show that the precision of proposed system is improved compared to conventional search engines.

최근 작물의 공장적 재배는 $\boxDr$식물공장$\boxUl$이라는 단어로 대표되는, 새로운 재배방식의 하나로서 세계적으로 주목받고 있다. 식물공장(plant factory or factory- style plant production system)이라는 단어의 의미와 같이 $\boxDr$시설내의 작물을 공장제품의 생산과 동일하게 재배하는 시스템$\boxUl$이다. 즉 자연환경에 의존하지 않고 인공환경하에서 식물을 공장적으로 재배하는 방식을 의미한다. 이를 위해서는 지하부의 양액, 지상부의 온습도, 탄산가스, 광 등에 대한 고도의 환경제어 및 작업의 자동화가 필요하다.(중략)

This study look into the 3 stages which is distinguished by the usage of human in Man-Kyeong river. 'A nature based usage stage' is acknowledge the river itself and used only the tributary and built reservoir in a small scale from ancient to 1910s. 'A human based usage stage' is built the large scale reservoir at upper stream area and make the artificial waterway from 1920s. And the main stream is remodeled to protect the flood and get the agricultural land. 'A human and nature integration stage' is the main stream has a role not only the spill way but also clean water for inhabitants does together with river. The role and meaning of river is given newly. The development of technique and increase the need of the human is required the change in the role and meaning of river. The river is natural existence as it is, but the meaning and role is given by the human. Also it accompanied the change of the landscape in neighbor region. The natural river is controled the human life in the past, but it changed to social existence which is given the role and meaning by the human now.

As an extension of previous researches with the conclusion that the announcement of adopting stock options generates positive abnormal returns, this paper examined whether the abnormal return changes over time or varies depending on the number of stock options granted. Empirical analysis was made to find whether the announcement of stock option awards has the same response in the stock market from the early days when stock option plans had been introduced in the Korean stock market till today when it was widespread. Results indicate that the announcement effect had been on a gradual decline since 2000. In addition, it is found that if a company announces stock option awards several times, the abnormal return gradually declines in proportion of the number of stock options granted. This implies that as the stock option awards become widespread, the positive effect that the announcement of adopting stock options generates as news has been on a relatively steady decrease. In short, it leads to a conclusion that the more companies grant stock options, and the more stock options a company announces, the less impact it has on the increase in the firm's value.

통신망의 신기술이 계속하여 등장하는 가운데 `표준`의 역할이 다시 클로즈업되고 있다. 정보통신제품의 특징이야말로 표준의 구현자체에 있기 때문이다. Vendor가 타사보도 먼저 최신 표준을 실제로 적용 완료하는 가장 효과적인 길은 자사의 독자기술을 표준화해 버리면 된다. 표준화를 둘러싼 치열한 경쟁으로 인하여 ''첨단기술을 싼값으로 널리 보급시키는'' 표준본래의 목적 조차도 외면 당하기 쉬운 경향이다. 표준화란 무엇인가? 표준의 가치는 어디서 찾을 수 있을까? 그 구체적인 사례와 증언을 토대로 아래와 같이 세 개의 부로 나누어 각 사항들을 점검해 본다. 제1부에서는 사실표준과 공식표준의 특징과 그 실태를 알아보고 제2부에서는 현재 계속 확산되어 가고있는 국제표준쟁탈전의 현장을 보고하고, 시장원리의 파도에 흔들리고 있는 표준화활동의 실태를 밝힌다. 제3부에서는 표준화활동의 제1선에서 활약하는 기술자의 증언 등을 토대로 ''표준''에 대한 환상과 진실을 알아본다.

본 논문에서는 자연언어 처리를 기반으로 한 질의응답 시스템을 설계하며 그 대상을 호텔 예약 시스템으로 한다. 시스템은 크게 언어 해석부, 문맥 처리부, 화제 처리부 및 한국어 생성부로 구성한다. 언어 처리부에서는 단일화 문법을 적용하여 사용자가 입력한 질의문을 해석하며 그 해석결과로부터 이 후 질의응답에 사용되는 정보들인 술어, 각 명사구들의 의존 관계치 및 의미 제약치를 얻어 낸다. 문맥처리를 수행하여 생략문 등에 의해 결핍된 정보들을 추출함으로서 정보의 손실을 보완한다. 이 정보들을 이용하여 사용자와 시스템간의 자연스러운 대화를 진행하기 위한 화제처리를 수행하며, 최종적으로 화제 처리부에서 파악한 화자의 의도를 기초로 사용자가 요구한 정보를 제공하고 계속된 대화진행을 위해 적절한 한국어를 생성해 주는 한국어 생성부를 거치게 된다. 본 논문에서는 호텔 예약이라는 정해진 영역하에서 자연언어처리에 의해 추출한 술어, 각 명사구들의 의존관계치 및 의미제약치 정보들을 이용하여 문맥처리와 화제처리를 수행함으로서 더욱 효율적인 질의응답 시스템을 구현할 수 있음을 보인다.

XML은 사용자가 각 응용에 따라 필요한 태그 집합과 문서 구조를 정의할 수 있는 효과적인 기반을 제공 하지만, 서로 다르게 정의되는 태그는 그 이름만으로는 정확한 의미를 식별하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 레지스트리에 기반 하여 DTD를 작성함으로써 XML 태그에 문맥적인 의미를 부여하는 방법을 제시하였으며, 이를 지원하는 DTD 작성도구를 설계하였다. XML의 기능에 데이터 레지스트리가 제공하는 표준화된 의미를 추가시킴으로써 DTD에 독립적인 문서 교환이 가능하며, 태그의 의미를 이용한 문서의 검색을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있다.

시소러스는 자연언어처리의 여러 분야에서 이용 가능한 아주 유용한 정보이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 구축된 시소러스를 기반으로 우리말 큰사전을 이용하여 한국어 명사 시소러스를 반자동으로 구축하는 과정을 소개한다. 우선 코퍼스의 고빈도어를 중심으로 사전에서 추출한 기본명사들의 각 의미에 1차로 의미번호 부착 후 그 결과를 이용하여 사전 정의문으로 각 의미별 클러스터를 구성했다. 그리고, 전단계에서 의미번호를 붙이지 못한 명사의 의미에 대하여 그 정의문과 클러스트들 간의 유사도를 계산하여 가장 유사한 의미번호를 후보로 제시하였다. 마지막으로 사전의 하이퍼링크를 사용하여 아직 의미 번호가 붙지 않는 명사의 의미에 의미번호를 부여했다. 각 단계에서는 사람의 후처리를 통해서 시소러스의 정확도를 높였다.
