This study measured and analyzed male firefighters hand sizes as well as suggested data for developing firefighting gloves with a good fit. Accordingly, body dimensions related to the hand were measured for 100 male firefighters. Twenty-three measuring items related to the hand and lower arm were selected. The firefighters' measurement data were compared to general adult male measurements from the 6th Korean Anthropometric data to analyze the hand sizes characteristics of firefighters. As a result, height, hand circumference, hand breadth, wrist circumference, elbow-wrist length, forearm-fingertip length and firefighter weight were significantly larger than adult males. A correlation analysis for 23 items was conducted to select items used as standards for setting a size when manufacturing firefighting gloves. Hand length and circumference were selected as representative hand parts for making firefighting gloves. Cross analysis between hand length and circumference were conducted to find the section showing the highest distribution ratio. As a result, the highest sections were between 19cm and 21cm for hand circumference and between 18.5cm and 19.5cm for hand length, which may be suggested as the most important ranges.

최근 국내 기업들의 ERP시스템 도입 사례는 대기업에서 중소기업으로, 제조업중심에서 금융, 서비스, 유통 등의 다양한 산업분야로 그 영역을 확장하고 있다. 또한 SCM(Supply Chain management), CRM(Customer Relationship Management)과 같은 확장ERP 시스템의 도입도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 여러 가지 측면의 ERP시스템의 확장 방향 중에서 산업별 특성에 따른 ERP시스템의 개발은 해당 산업분야의 규모와 중요성의 순서에 따라 그 깊이와 범위가 다르게 이루어 졌으며, 소수 특이한 산업에 대한 솔루션은 미개발 상태인 경우가 많이 있다. ERP 소프트웨어 공급업체들은 주요 산업별로 특징적인 업무 프로세스를 지원하기위해 추가적인 프로그램을 공급하거나 개발 중에 있다. 본 연구는 국내 기업 중 다소 특수한 업무 프로세스를 가지고 있는 OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturing) 형태의 생산방식을 가진 의류 제조, 판매 업체의 ERP도입 사례를 통하여 ERP시스템 유연성의 한계에 대해 검토하여 보고 OEM산업과 의류산업이라는 산업특성에서의 ERP시스템 도입이 어떠한 문제점을 지니고 있는지 조사해 보고자 한다. 본 연구는 이를 위해 OEM산업에 대한 고찰과 의류업종의 업무적 특징을 정리하여 보고 실제 ERP 도입 사례를 통해 발견된 도입 특성 또는 도입시의 문제점과 해결 방안을 제시함으로서 향후 유사 업종의 ERP 시스템 도입 시 유용한 지침(Guideline)을 제공하고자 한다. ERP 도입사례는 SAP R/3를 채택하여 약 9개월간의 도입기간에 나타난 현상들을 기반으로 한다.

국내 섬유ㆍ의류산업의 고비용/저효율 구조를 혁신하기 위해서는 산업간 공급사슬을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 QR 시스템의 도입이 불가피할 것으로 보인다. QR 시스템의 성공적인 도입을 위해서는 정보기술적 측면에서 효과적이며 통합적인 정보 파이프라인의 구현, 그리고 기업문화적 측면에서 서로 다른 기업문화와 산업환경하에서의 기업 상호간 전략적 협력관계의 창출이 필수적 요건이라고 하겠다.

21세기 인터넷 환경에서 유럽을 위시한 주요 선진국에서는 온라인 주문생산(made-to-measure)과 인터넷 의류 쇼핑의 새로운 개념으로서 의류산업 특성화로 발 빠르게 진행하고 있으며 이러한 기술 개발로 자국의 산업공동화를 방지하고, 제 3국에서 생산한 의류가격과 비교시 선국국의 취약한 가격경쟁력에서 탈피하여, 고부가가치 국제경쟁력을 가지는 신개념의 3D 인체계측치를 기본으로 온라인 주문생산시스템과 전자상거래의 통합솔루션인 e-Tailor기술의 개발을 추진하여 이 분야의 혁신적인 서비스 기술을 선점하려는 추세이다.(중략)
