Purpose: The objective is to extract insights that can contribute to the formulation of harmonized international policies and support measures for innovative medical devices and management systems. This study aims to propose effective strategies for future medical device innovation and healthcare delivery. Results: It investigates technological advancements, regulatory approval systems, insurance policies, and successful commercialization cases in South Korea, the United States, and the European Union. In 2018, the FDA implemented insurance coverage for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and recognized insurance coverage for Digital Therapeutics (DTx). Germany is a country that ensures permanent reimbursement for healthcare applications since 2020, making it the first country to provide legal health insurance coverage for fostering a digital ecosystem. Conclusion: The findings of this research highlight the importance of cultivating a supportive regulatory and environmental framework to facilitate the adoption of innovative medical devices. Continuous support for research and development (R&D) efforts by companies, along with the validation of clinical effectiveness, is crucial.

There is a need to develop an app for a caregiver health management that can provide continuous management in response to changes over time, because elderly people have low digital utilization capabilities, difficulty maintaining regular and continuous self-management. Based on this need, this study designed an app with a user-friendly UI and simple structure for the elderly. The app developed in this study supports regular management of health data such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and heart rate, as well as specific information on physical, disease, cognitive, communication, and environment in the care field. The app developed in this study supports care services by automatically entering data through integration with health management devices, automatically analyzing and visually representing recorded data to understand trends and volatility, and adding scalability to connect with various health management and medical support platforms. The effectiveness and satisfaction of the developed app were confirmed to be significant in the field verification results.

3D 기술은 차세대 입체멀티미디어 정보통신서비스의 총아로 각광받고 있으며 기술개발 경쟁이 치열한 첨단고도화 기술이다. 현재 3D 기술이 확대되면서 이에 대한 관련 산업체들의 욕구도 점점 증가하고 있다. 최근에는 3D 게임을 비롯한 소프트웨어 시장을 중심으로 의료, 보안, 광고, 방송 등에 대한 기업체의 참여와 더불어 폭발적인 시장이 형성되고 있는 추세이다. 향후 3DTV를 비롯해 정보통신, 방송, 의료, 영화, 게임, 애니메이션 등과 같은 기존의 모든 산업제품 개발에 응용되는 핵심 기술로 자리매김할 전망이다. 특히 2010년 남아공 월드컵의 3D 방송으로 더욱더 많은 수요가 예상되고 있다. 방송통신위에 따르면, 3D 디스플레이 시장은 약 $160(M) 에서 2012년 $27,700(M)로 급성장할 것으로 보인다.

The goal of this study is to provide the basic information for improvement of domestic standards on the powered scooter and the electric wheelchair considering using environments in the nation. The international standards and domestic standards have been analyzed and compared, in order to propose improved domestic standards. Based on the research, the items and standards for general and functional recommendations, electric features, and other suggestions have been reexamined so that the improvements on test item and standards have been identified, corrected, and summarized including max. speed, brake system, lights and so on. We have been preparing the reference data for the improvement of standards on the powered scooter and the electric wheelchair through the comparison & analysis on the international and domestic standards.

국내 의료용 레이저 업체들은 아직까지 국내시장만을 목표로 한 소극적인 투자로 값싼 제품의 조립 생산에서 벗어나지 못하고 있는 실정이어서 대폭적인 인식 변화가 필요하다. 또한 레이저 개발은 광학기술, 고압전기전자기술, 기계기술, 컴퓨터기술 등이 종합적으로 어우러진다는 점을 감안해 관련 기술의 집중육성도 병행돼야 한다.
