Using optical music recognition technology based on deep learning, we propose to apply the results derived to VR games. To detect the music objects in the music sheet, the deep learning model used YOLO v5, and Hough transform was employed to detect undetected objects, modifying the size of the staff. It analyzes and uses BPM, maximum number of combos, and musical notes in VR games using output result files, and prevents the backlog of notes through Object Pooling technology for resource management. In this paper, VR games can be produced with music elements derived from optical music recognition technology to expand the utilization of optical music recognition along with providing VR contents.
This paper proposes a music generation technique that automatically generates trot music using a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) model composed of a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). The proposed method uses a method of creating a chord as a skeleton of the music, creating a melody and bass in stages based on the chord progression made, and attaching it to the corresponding chord to complete the structured piece. Also, a new chorus chord progression is created from the verse chord progression by applying the characteristics of a trot song that repeats the structure divided into an individual section, such as intro, verse, and chorus. And it extends the length of the created trot. The quality of the generated music was specified using subjective evaluation and objective evaluation methods. It was confirmed that the generated music has similar characteristics to the existing trot.

Recently, digital music retrieval is using in many fields (Web portal. audio service site etc). In existing fields, Meta data of music are used for digital music retrieval. If Meta data are not right or do not exist, it is hard to get high accurate retrieval result. Contents based information retrieval that use music itself are researched for solving upper problem. In this paper, we propose Same music recognition method using similarity measurement. Feature data of digital music are extracted from waveform of music using Simplified MFCC (Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient). Similarity between digital music files are measured using DTW (Dynamic time Warping) that are used in Vision and Speech recognition fields. We success all of 500 times experiment in randomly collected 1000 songs from same genre for preying of proposed same music recognition method. 500 digital music were made by mixing different compressing codec and bit-rate from 60 digital audios. We ploved that similarity measurement using DTW can recognize same music.
In this letter, we propose a novel approach to improve the performance of speech/music classification for the selectable mode vocoder(SMV) of 3GPP2 using the Gaussian mixture model(GMM) which is based on the expectation-maximization(EM) algorithm. We first present an effective analysis of the features and the classification method adopted in the conventional SMV. And then feature vectors which are applied to the GMM are selected from relevant Parameters of the SMV for the efficient speech/music classification. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated under various conditions and yields better results compared with the conventional scheme of the SMV.
In this paper, we propose a novel approach to improve the performance of speech/music classification for the selectable mode vocoder (SMV) of 3GPP2 using the discriminative weight training which is based on the minimum classification error (MCE) algorithm. We first present an effective analysis of the features and the classification method adopted in the conventional SMV. And then proposed the speech/music decision rule is expressed as the geometric mean of optimally weighted features which are selected from the SMV. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated under various conditions and yields better results compared with the conventional scheme of the SMV.
The purpose of this study was to investigate music therapists'use and perception of computer-based music technology. Questionnaires were distributed either electronically or in-person to 367 music therapists with credentials. Of the 367 initially distributed questionnaires, 101 were returned and 61 were analyzed after excluding 40 incomplete responses. The survey was comprised of two sections: the use of music technology and perceived importance of music technology in music therapy practice. The results showed that 65.6% of the respondents had used music technology in their clinical practice. The most frequently used type of music technology was Finale, followed by Garage band, and Cubase. With regard to the areas where music technology was used, it was implemented primarily for adolescents for musical or emotional goals, and was applied most frequently as a musical resource. In addition, most respondents showed a positive attitude toward music technology and added that they would need to be trained to use music technology for their clinical practice. These results provide practical information on how music therapists use and perceive computer-based music technology, and its implication for music therapy clinical practice.
