  • The purpose of this study was to examine the anxiety, depression, uncertainty, social support, and QoL and to identify the factors influencing QoL in women with thyroid cancer. A descriptive survey was performed from April to October in 2014 with self-reporting questionnaires for depression, uncertainty, social support, and QoL. Participants were 106 women with thyroid cancer who visited a outpatient department of endocrine surgery in a hospital. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. As the results of this study, the mean scores of global QoL were moderate. Anxiety was significantly influenced physical functioning, emotional functioning, and social functioning. Uncertainty was significantly influenced physical functioning and cognitive functioning. Therefore, from the results of this study, nursing practice focused on anxiety and uncertainty relieving care for female thyroid cancer patients to improving QoL. And also, in order to understand the QoL of women with thyroid cancer, it is necessary to deeply understand the QoL through qualitative and quantitative research to determine the QoL by treatment period and treatment type.

  • This study analyzes diverse research studies on psychomotricity as convergence of psychological and physical exercises and aims to identify challenges and provide solutions for more extensive future research. The study collected 50 papers published in Korea from 2013 to March 2017 through paper search systems and analyzed the distribution of the works by types and research subjects, and types of research design, types of dependent variables and the number of interventions involved. By research design, it was found that most number of papers were based on single-subject research, followed by quantitative research. Motor development appeared the most as a dependent variable, followed by sociality and emotional behavior. Most number of studies involved 21-30 times of interventions. The changes in the research results were analyzed in the order of sociality, motor development, and behavior change. Future psychomotricity studies need to expand study subjects and diversify research methods and variables, with active follow-up studies contributing to social service by providing comprehensive solutions.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of self-esteem, depression, and social support on suicidal ideation in university students. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 220 university students from September to November 2015. The study instruments comprised self-esteem, depression, social support, and suicidal ideation. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The result showed that the difference of suicidal ideation by general characteristics was significant in major satisfaction(F=5.222, p=.006). The significant factors influencing suicidal ideation of university students were self-esteem(${\beta}=-0.227$, p=.004), depression(${\beta}=0.211$, p=.006), social support(${\beta}=-0.140$, p=.045), and with the explanation power of 21.9%. To decrease suicidal ideation of university students, it is necessary to develop a program increasing the self-esteem and managing the depression. The interest and social support of them will help the healthy promotion of university students.

  • This study ascertained convergent influence on state anxiety and its association with subjective happiness, job burnout and psychosocial stress among Hospital Women Administrative Staff(HWAS). The survey period was from July 4, 2018 to July 25, 2018. The subjects were 226 HWAS randomly extracted from 24 hospitals in J area. The data were collected using a structured self-administered questionaries. State anxiety was negatively correlated with subjective happiness, and it was positively correlated with job burnout and psychosocial stress. The covariance structure analysis showed that the lower subjective happiness, and the higher job burnout and psychosocial stress tend to increase state anxiety. In conclusion, in order to reduce the state anxiety of HWAS, it is necessary to increase subjective happiness, to reduce job burnout and psychosocial stress. These results are expected to be used for industrial health education and hospital internal customer management to reduce the state anxiety of HWAS. In the future study, it is necessary to investigate the convergent additional factors that affect the state anxiety of HWAS.

  • In the era of convergence, more attention is paid to development of Fintech which attempts for innovation of the financial transaction paradigm through ICT. Proliferation of Fintech to engraft finance-related services on mobile and ICT is found in various fields such as loans, investment and asset management in addition to simple payment or remittance services but awareness of consumers regarding the matter is rather low. Therefore, it is the time to conduct a research on various Fintech businesses. This thesis conducted an empirical research from the viewpoint of consumers to investigate influence on continuous use intention of Fintech users. From the user environment perspective, it was found that influence of innovativeness on satisfaction was not statistically significant. In case of the product characteristics, perceived risk did not have statistical significance on satisfaction.

  • This study was done to identify the significant convergence factors of affecting depression of elderly women in rural area. A total of 161 elderly women aged 65 and over were collected and data were analyzed using multiple logistic regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0. The result indicated that 42.9% of participants were depressed. In logistic regression, significant factors of depression were age(p<.001, OR=1.146), economic status (p=.004, OR=.123), number of family member living together (p=.013, OR=.020), number of social activities (p=.012, OR=.436), number of disease diagnosed (p<.001, OR=3.847), visual function (p=.023, OR=3.867), family support (p=.048, OR=.707), which accounted for 68.6% of the variance. The results of this study can contribute to develop various convergence strategies to prevent the prevalence of depression of elderly women in rural area. Further studies are needed to confirm the level of contribution of visual disability to depression in rural older women.
