This study examined how adolescents make a decision on a company's unethical viral and what factors influenced their decision. There were three independent variables, self-interest, sense of rivalry, and monetary attitude, considered for affecting adolescents' ethical decision. The ethical decision as the dependent variable has two perspectives such as deontology and relativism. The findings showed that sense of rivalry was only significant factor influencing relativism and deontology of adolescents' ethical decision. Self-interest and monetary attitude were not significant, but when eliminating sense of rivalry due to multicollinearity in regression model, monetary attitude significantly influenced their ethical decision.

This paper analyzes the effects of national culture on an individual's ethical decision-making in the context of the Internet. An ethical decision-making model which posits that five moral philosophy variables-justice, relativism, egoism, utilitarianism, and deontology-affect ethical judgment; ethical judgment, in turn, affects behavioral intention was proposed and Hofstede's five cultural dimensions of power distance, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, and long-term orientation were used to analyze the effects of national culture on the model. The results showed that power distance, individualism, and masculinity had significant effects on the relationship between the deontology variable and ethical judgment, individualism, masculinity, and uncertainty avoidance had significant effects on the relationship between the justice variable and ethical judgment, and individualism and long-term orientation had significant effects on the relationship between ethical judgment and behavioral intention in the Internet context.

This study explores the general marketing ethics among Koreans and helps us understand bu such as bribery, unfair price increases, and so on. By examining msiness ethics in Korea. Based on a scenario approach, we focus on the ethical problems developed or identified from previous research in the western countries. We find that the people in our sample perceive the relative seriousness of ethics problemsarketing-related ethical issues, first we find the differences in how the young and old recognize business ethics. Specifically the younger generation in Korea shows less ethical reaction in general because they have not developed a long-term perspective. Moreover the older generation shows less ethical attitude towards bribery. Second, we confirm the findings in Zey-Ferrell et al (1991) that all individuals think they are more ethical than others. We also discuss other demographic variables related issues that might affect the business ethics in Korea.

윤리란 행위의 옳고 그름이나 선과 악 또는 도덕적인 것과 비도덕적인 것에 관한 판단기준의 체계 혹은 이를 대상으로 하는 학문을 말한다. 또한 윤리는 그 적용대상이 무엇인가에 따라 가정윤리, 사회윤리, 직업윤리, 기업윤리, 정보윤리 등 여러가지로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 여기서 정보통신윤리란 윤리의 문제를 정보통신 또는 정보화사회의 관점에서 조명한 것이라 볼 수 있으며 정보를 다루는데 있어 개인이나 사회구성원들의 행동이나 규범체계로서 그들의 행동이나 태도의 옳고 그름, 좋고 나쁨, 그리고 윤리적인 것과 비윤리적인 것을 판단하게 해주는 기준체계라 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this paper is to show the limitations of Just War Theory in evaluating ethical issues that can be raised in cognitive warfare, which is emerging as a new area of war. To this end, we will provide the background of cognitive warfare, derive the features of cognitive warfare based on conceptual analysis of cognitive warfare, and clarify the differences between cognitive warfare and traditional warfare. Afterwards, we will turn the discussion and take a look at the background and areas of Just War Theory as a theory that evaluates comprehensive ethical issues related to war. Then, we will elaborate what Just War Theory is and apply the ethical judgment criteria presented in the three areas of this theory, jus ad bellum, jus in bello, and jus post bellum, to cognitive warfare. Finally, we will evaluate the appropriateness of ethical judgment in cognitive warfare by applying criteria for each area and specify the limitations, thereby showing that Just War Theory has limitations as an ethical judgment criteria in cognitive warfare.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Internet copyright education on ethical consciousness, moral judgement and piracy intention in Internet copyright. The result of empirical research shows that Internet copyright education effects on piracy intention through moral judgement in order to make a right or wrong decision about the actual piracy behavior. On the other hand, the internet copyright education does not effect on ethical consciousness and piracy intention directly. This result implies that internet copyright education do not actually impact on the attitude and consciousness of online piracy, and that right understanding and proper internet ethic education program have to be considered to protect negative consequences by online piracy.

This study is conducted to clarify when a person faces an ethical dilemma in business situation, what affects on individual ethical decision-making(from ethical judgments to behavioral intention, nonethical behaviors) in the organizational context. especially, the present study examined the direct and indirect effects of love of money, individuals' perceptions of work climate, perceptions of organizational justice on their ethical judgments and behavioral intentions regarding an ethical dilemma. The subjects of the research were Pusan National University business school enrolled students(n=160). The research was substantiated through statistical analysis of credibility and validity, correlation, variance, and moderated regression analysis. The results indicated that, although perceived ethical climate dimensions did not have a direct effect on behavioral intentions, but had a direct effect on nonethical behaviors. Climates perceived as egoistic were significant moderating effects. and love of money had a direct effect on behavioral intention. Perceptions of organizational justice had a direct effect on behavioral intentions. Especially, interactional justice had a strong influence on ethical behavioral intentions than distributive justice and procedural justice. In depth discussion implications, limitations, and future research directions were supplied.

Establishing greater reliability in property appraisal is critical because it promotes the public interest. Reliability is composed of competence and ethics. In particular, the ethics of property appraisal has individual and corporational aspects. This study aimed to evaluate how the ethical climate of a firm is affected by the scale of appraisal firms, thereby validating the effect of the 'Large Appraisal Firm System'. Hence, the ethical climate of appraisal firms, an indicator of inherent ethical value recognition, was investigated, divided into recognition of social responsibility and exclusion of self-interest. The study results showed that the ethical management systems of appraisal firms encourage the appraisers of such firms to be conscious of their social responsibility and to exclude self-interest in their work. The degree of such influence, however, differs according to the scale of appraisal firms. Based on these results, further research on the maintenance and operation of the ethical management systems of appraisal firms is required to enhance the reliability of property appraisal.

This study investigates the ethical standards of treasurers in the defense industry and explores ways to improve them in order to contribute to businesses' ethical managements. Also, this research examines how the ethical standards of the treasures have an influence on accounting transparency and accounting fraud. This paper deals with two fields, namely, ethical judgment and ethics in different cultures. The former focuses on actions that can occur in various ethical situations of accounting area. The latter shows that the development level of certified accountants’ ethical thinking depends on cultural difference.
