Exploring Beginning youth Football Coach's Experience in Teaching (초임 유소년 축구지도자의 교수경험 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the teaching experience of first-time youth soccer leaders. To this end, four leaders registered in the U-12 team were selected from those with more than 10 years of player experience, less than 5 years of coaching experience, and a level C or higher of the Korea Football Association leader's license. Accordingly, the analysis categories and analysis units were categorized according to the research problem, and data analysis was conducted through an inductive method. As a result of the study, youth soccer leaders were starting their coaching with the mindset of "I shouldn't" and "I can do it" based on their past experiences. They who concerned their uncertainty about the future in the teaching field were struggling with how to communicate with student and were less professional in teaching and learning ability. but they were trying to gain expertise while feeling rewarded in teaching. Accordingly, it was discussed to improve the treatment of youth soccer leaders and improve the program that is the leader training system.

Review of Youth Soccer Research Trends (유소년 축구 연구 동향 고찰)

  • In order to investigate trends in youth soccer research, this study selected 18 prior literature published in domestic KCI-registered journals related to youth soccer over a three-year period from 2021 to 2023 as research subjects. Previous research on youth soccer was analyzed by year, journal, research method, and subject, and the results are as follows. First, the number of papers published on topics related to youth soccer was the highest at 9 in 2021. Second, it was found that youth soccer-related research was conducted in various sports-related academic journals. Third, quantitative research methodology took up a higher proportion of 83% than qualitative research method. Fourth, studies targeting youth soccer players were the highest at 50%, followed by coaches and parents of youth players.

  • This study selected 21 domestic prior documents published in domestic KCI sites related to snowboarding after the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics for about five years from 2018 to 2023 and analyzed the characteristics, participation type, research method, and research division, The results are as follows. First, in terms of gender, papers on only men or men and women accounted for the majority, and the ages were distributed in various ways from 20s to 50s. In the case of the number of subjects, papers with less than 50 subjects accounted for the majority. Second, in the form of participation, registered player and ski resort users accounted for the majority, and papers were formed youth player, instructor, and judges in order. Third, Mostly, there are survey and experimental studies for the research methods, and qualitative and integrated studies were analyzed in order. Fourth, sports sociology and biomechanics were mainly used as research divisions, and sports psychology, physiology, sports measurement and evaluation, sports managment, and sports history were analyzed in order.

A Study on Cognition of Applicants for the Sports Coaching Certificate System : Focusing on the Practical and Oral Certifying Test for the Sports Coaching Certificate (체육지도자 자격제도에 대한 응시자들의 인식 연구: 실기·구술 자격검정을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze cognition of applicants about the national sports coaching certificate examination. In order to collect data an online survey was conducted against those who attended the practical and oral examination for the sports coaching certificate. SPSS Version 18.0 was used to analyze frequency of the collected 2,895 samples, the factors of measuring methods in the study, difference of applicants' cognition on the certificate system, and difference of applicants' cognition on the practical and oral examination. Results from this study indicates that the applicants' cognition on the sports coaching certificate system differs according to ages, educational levels, and sports related majors at college, and that the applicants' cognition on the practical and oral examination for the sports coaching certificate is also different according to gender, age, educational level, and sports related majors at college. This study suggests development directions for the future sports coaching system by comprehending of the study results.
