최근 웹 서비스 기술을 이용하여 바이오 데이터 및 데이터 메소드를 제공하는 것과 관련된 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 웹 서비스 기반 바이오 데이터 서비스에 대한 연구 자료는 시스템 구조 및 API 등을 중심으로 보고되고 있으나 이를 기반으로 한 통합 응용 도구 개발 관련 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 이에 따라 이 논문에서는 웹 서비스 API 등을 이용하여 바이오인포매틱스 연구자들이 이용할 수 있는 데이터 통합, 검색, 브라우징 기능을 제공하는 분석 도구를 개발하였다 사용자는 이 도구를 이용하여 바이오 데이터 간의 상호연관성을 보다 쉽게 발견할 수 있으며 보다 다양한 검색 결과를 여러 가지 형태로 볼 수 있게 될 것이다.

최근 pathway 정보의 중요성에 점점 커지고 있다. 하지만 이런 정보를 이용하기에 많은 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 이런 문제점의 해결 방법으로 웹 서비스가 도입되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 주요 pathway 데이터베이스 중 하나인 BIND와 체계적인 개념으로 유전자 용어를 정리한 Gene Ontology(GO)에 대한 웹 서비스를 개발하였다. 개발자들은 이 웹 서비스를 이용하여 BIND와 GO 데이터를 보다 쉽게 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

Both enantiomers of (S)-(-)-2-(diphenylphosphino)-2'-mercapto-1,1'-binaphthyl and their derivatives were obtained by synthesis from racemic 2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthyl and subsequent resolution. The utilities of these ligands were investigated briefly. And among these, S-methyl derivative 15 has proved to be an effective ligand for Pd-catalyzed allylic alkylation.

The alkyl Grignard addition reaction on 1-benzyltetrazolylimine proceeds to give N-alkylated products (azophilic addition) and, in contrast, the same reaction on 2-benzyltetrazolylimine produced predominantly C-alkylated products (carbophilic addition). In this report we described theoretical explanations for this experimental finding on the basis of the frontier molecular orbitals and the electrostatic nature of the reactants and the reaction intermediates.

The comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) method has been employed to correlate the apparent lipophilicity (logkw) and global lipophilicity (logP) for orthopramide derivatives. This study demonstrated that CoMFA is an excellent method in predicting the complex properties of molecules such as apparent lipophilicity (logkw) or lipophilicity (logP). The better predictability of lipophilicity by introducing logkw as an independent descriptor suggests that the HPLC capacity factor measured in a buffer of pH 7.5 (logkw) can be effectively utilized in the prediction of global lipophilicity.

자가손상복구 기법에서 마이크로캡슐은 손상복구 효율을 좌우하는 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 종류의 손상복구액을 함유한 마이크로캡슐을 Melamine/Urea/Formaldehyde를 외벽물질로 하여 in-situ 중합법에 의해서 oil-in-water emulsion 방법으로 제조하였다. 제조된 마이크로캡슐을 광학현미경, 주사전자현미경으로 캡슐 모폴로지, 외부 및 내부표면, 외벽 두께 등을 조사하였다. 그리고 입도분석기를 이용하여 캡슐의 크기를 측정하였으며 그 결과 캡슐의 직경은 평균 약 120 마이크론 정도였다.
