유산소 운동 시 호흡 기법에 따라 호흡 기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Breathing Technique with Aerobic Exercise on the Respiratory Function of Adults)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to discover which breathing technique is more effective in improving respiratory function by applying different breathing techniques-the chest expansion respiratory technique and the abdominal expansion respiratory technique-to adults in the same aerobic exercise situation. Methods : In this study, 30 people were randomly assigned to two groups: chest expansion respiratory technique with aerobic exercise (A group) and abdominal expansion respiratory technique with aerobic exercise (B group). Group A was asked to breathe after wrapping their rib cage with an elastic band, and Group B was asked to breathe after wrapping their abdomen with an elastic band. A total of 3 sets of 30 breaths were performed, 3 times a week for 6 weeks. For statistical processing, an independent t-test was used to verify homogeneity between the two groups, and a repeated measure analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare differences according to the period for each group. Results : The changes in FVC and FEV1 for each group following 6 weeks of intervention are as follows. In comparison according to the intervention period, there was a significant increase in all groups depending on the timing of measurement (p<.05), and as a result of the inter-subject effect test, there was no significant difference between groups (p>.05). In addition, there was no interaction effect between period and group (p>.05). Conclusion : The conclusion of this study is that FVC and FEV1 values increased according to the intervention period in both groups; therefore, it can be suggested that flexible breathing techniques can be applied depending on the patient's physical situation when applying a breathing program to improve respiratory function.

비만 초등학생의 4주 여름 건강증진캠프 참여가 대사증후군 및 인슐린저항성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of 4-Week Health Promotion Summer Camp on the Metabolic Syndrome and Insulin Resistance among Obese Elementary Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 에너지 소비 및 심폐 능력 향상을 위한 고강도 유산소 운동, 근력 및 근지구력 강화를 위한 서킷 트레이닝, 생활 습관 변화 교육으로 구성된 4주간의 건강증진 중재 프로그램이 과체중 또는 비만 초등학생의 비만도, 체력수준, 인슐린 저항성 및 대사증후군 미치는 영향을 조사하는데 있다. 과체중 또는 비만 아동 23명을 비만군으로, 정상체중 아동 15명을 정상군으로 선발하였다. 건강증진 프로그램은 총 4주간, 주 3일, 1일 2시간의 운동시간과 1시간의 교육으로 구성되었다. 비만도(체질량지수, 허리둘레, 체지방률), 체력(근력, 근지구력, 유연성, 심폐체력), 인슐린 저항성 및 대사증후군 위험요인(혈압, 공복 혈당, 중성지방, 고밀도 지단백 콜레스테롤)을 측정하였다. 프로그램 참여 후, 비만도의 유의미한 감소는 없었지만, 비만 아동의 체력수준, 인슐린 저항성 및 대사 증후군 위험 요인은 상당한 개선이 있었다. 결과적으로 여름캠프 참여를 통해 비만 초등학생의 체력수준 향상, 인슐린 저항성 감소 및 대사증후군 위험요인의 빈도 감소에 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

유산소 리듬 운동프로그램이 노인의 체력, 자기효능감 및 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Aerobic Rhythmical Exercise Program on Physical Fitness, Self-efficacy and Quality of Life in Elderly)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of aerobic rhythmical exercise program on $VO_2$ max, leg strength, grip strength, flexibility, exercise self-efficacy and quality of life in elderly. This quai-experimental study was designed as a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest study. 36 subjects, aged between 65 and 73 years who have normal cognition. sensory function and cerebellum function participated in this study. 19 experimental group subjects participated aerobic rhythmical exercise program. Aerobic rhythmical exercise program was developed on the basis of calisthenics, stretching, aerobic exercise, Korean traditional dance and music by the author. The program consisted of approximately 1 hours of exercise, 3 times a week for 9 weeks. During 1 hours workout, there were 15 minutes of warm-up dancing, 35 minutes of conditioning dance and 10 minutes of cool-down dancing. The intensity for the conditioning phase was between $40\%\;and\;60\%$ of age adiusted maximum heart rates. The $VO_2$ max, grip strength, leg strength, flexibility, exercise self-efficacy and quality of life were measured prior to and following the experimental treatment. Data were analyzed with $x^2-test$, t-test, mean, standard deviation. percentage of change and ANCOVA test using SAS program. Results were obtained as follows. 1. The $VO_2$ max of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group following the aerobic rhythmical exercise program(F=7.76, p=0.008). 2. The grip strength of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group following the aerobic rhythmical exercise program(F=4.61, p=0.039). 3. The leg strength of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group following the aerobic rhythmical exercise program(F=9.29, p=0.000). 4. The was no significantly difference of flexibility between experimental and control group 5. The self-efficacy of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group following the aerobic rhythmical exercise program(F=43.40, p=0.000). 6. The quality of life of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group following the aerobic rhythmical exercise program(F=8.91. p=0.005). The results suggest that aerobic rhythmical exercise program can improve $VO_2$ max, grip strength. leg strength. exercise self-efficacy and quality of life elderly. Thus. aerobic rhythmical exercise program was a useful nursing intervention for elderly.

Xylan으로부터 단리한 Glucuronic Acid의 유산소 운동 후 항산화 작총 및 근피로 회복효과 (Effects of Glucuronic Acid Derivertives Isolated from Xylan an Antioxidative Defense System and Muscle Fatigue Recovery after Aerobic Exercise)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of glucuronic acid on antioxidative defense system and recovery of muscle fatigue in rat artier aerobic exercise. Sprague-Dawley male rats weighing 150 $\pm$ 10g were randomly assigned to one normal(N) group and three exercise training groups. Exercise training groups were classified into glucuronic acid free intubation group(T group), 250mg glucuronic acid/kg bw intubation group(TU group), and 500 mg glucuronic acid/kg bw intubation group(2TU group) according to glucuronic acid supplementation level. The glucuronic acids were administered to rats by oral intubation before exercise training. The experimental rats in exercise training groups(T, TU and 2TU) were exercised on glucuronic acid supplementation or rats in normal group were confined in cage for 4 weeks. And rats were sacrificed with an overdose of pentobarbital injection just after running. Liver xanthine oxidase(XOD) activities were not significantly different among four groups. The activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) in T group was no significant difference from N group, but those of TU and 2TU groups were increased by 9% and 18%, respectively, compared with that of T group. Liver glutathione peroxidase(GSHpx) activites of T and TU groups showed a similar tendency to that of normal group, but increase 17% in 2TU group compared with normal group. The ratio of GSH/GSSG in liver of T group was lower than that of normal group, but those of TU and 2TU groups were a similar tendency to that of normal group. Contents of thiobarbituric acid reactive substance(TBARS) in T group was increased by 47%, compared with that of normal group but those of TU group and 2TU group were lower 27% and 35%, respectively, compared with that of T group. The contents of glycogen in soleus muscle significantly lower in all three trained exercise groups than that of normal group, but there were no significant differences among the trained exercise groups. Contents of hepatic glycogen in T group were decreased 27% compared with those of normal group while those of TU and 2TU groups were the same as normal group levels. The contents of serum lactic acid in T group were increased 240% of normal group, but hose of TU and 2TU groups were decreased 38%, 39%, respectively, by glucuronic acid supplementations, compared with that of T group. In conclusion, the effects of glucuronic acids in exercise training rats would appear to reduce peroxidation of tissue as an antioxidative defense mechanism and promote recovery of muscle fatigue.

택지개발사업 조경설계공모 당선안과 조성 현장 비교를 통해 본 전통 재현의 양상 (The Study on Aspects of Representing Tradition in the Winners of Landscape Competitions of Land Development Projects through the Comparative Analysis between the Original Designs and the Constructions)

  • 본 연구는 전통 재현을 위한 합리적 계획 방향을 모색하고자 '의정부 민락 2지구 도시기반시설 조경설계공모(2008)'와 '화성 동탄 2지구 택지개발사업 1단계 조경기본 및 실시설계공모(2012)' 당선안의 설계 도판과 조성 현장을 비교 분석하였다. 먼저 설계 도판에 제시된 텍스트와 평면도, 입단면도, 다이어그램, 사례이미지, 투시도를 분석하여 재현 대상과 재현 경관, 재현 공간의 구성과 배치, 재현 시설물의 디자인과 식재 양상을 파악한 후 조성 현장을 고찰하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 재현 대상과 재현 경관의 유형은 대상지의 향토 경관으로써 농업 경관, 전통마을의 생활공간, 전통 수(水) 공간, 전통문화로 구분된다. 둘째, 재현 공간의 구성 및 배치와 관련하여 주변 토지이용과 지역문화유산이 고려된 전통 테마 공간들을 구성하였으나 조성 시 일부는 근린공원에 요구되는 운동공간이나 편의시설공간으로 변경되었다. 셋째, 재현 시설물의 경우 방지원도(方池圓島), 정자, 화계는 현장에 도입되었으나 창의적으로 디자인된 시설물은 설치되지 않았다. 넷째, 전통 식재 기법은 마을숲, 방지 내 원도, 화계에 수목을 도입하는 것에 집중되었다. 다섯째, 전문 자료를 토대로 한 주제 선정과 실험적 시설물 디자인 제시 등 전통 재현 작업이 진일보한 측면을 파악할 수 있었다. 여섯째, 조성 시 실현 가능한 주제 선정, 정보 해석을 위한 전문성, 전통 시설물의 창의적 디자인 등 앞으로 이루어질 전통 재현 작업에 요구되는 과제들을 짚어보았다.

한국 중년의 고밀도지단백(HDL) 콜레스테롤과 관련요인 (The High-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and related factors in Korean middle-aged)

  • 이 연구는 40-59세의 중년들이 갖고 있는 여러 가지 건강행태 중에서 고밀도지단백(HDL) 콜레스테롤에 영향을 명확히 미치는 건강행태를 파악함으로써 한국 중년의 건강증진에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공되고자 한다. 국민건강영양조사의 제4기 3차년도(2009), 제5기의 1차년도(2010), 2차년도(2011), 3차년도(2012), 제6기의 1차년도(2013) 등 총 5개년의 원시데이터를 합하여 사용하여 7,406명을 최종분석 대상자로 선정하였다. 고밀도지단백 콜레스테롤을 40mg/dl 미만과 40mg/dl 이상으로 두 집단으로 구분했다. 다중 로지스틱 회귀분석을 시행한 결과, 여자보다 남자일 경우 OR=3.916배, 비만 유병이 저체중에서 정상일 경우 OR=3.439배, 비만일 경우 OR=7.336배, 음주자일 때 OR=1.629배, 흡연자일 때 OR=1.498배, 중등도 신체활동 미실천일 시 OR=1.426배, 걷기 미실천일 시 OR=1.264배, 탄수화물을 과소 섭취할 때보다 적정 섭취할 때 OR=1.510배, 과다 섭취할 때 OR=1.787배 고밀도지단백(HDL) 콜레스테롤이 40mg/dl 이상에서 40mg/dl 미만으로 될 확률이 증가하였다. 한국 중년의 고밀도지단백(HDL) 콜레스테롤 수치를 높여 적절한 건강을 유지하기 위해서는 유산소 운동, 금연, 절절한 음주, 비만 해소, 건강한 식습관과 건강한 식품 선택으로 인한 외식이 이루어져야 한다. 이를 위해서는 지역사회 내에서 지속적인 홍보와 교육이 필요하며, 건강행태를 생활 속에서 실천할 수 있도록 하는 사회적 환경이 구축되어야 할 것이다.

COVID-19 이환자의 브루스 프로토콜을 이용한 유산소 운동이 심박수, 산소포화도, 혈압에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Aerobic Exercise using Bruce Protocol on Heart Rate, Oxygen Saturation, and Blood Pressure after Recovery from COVID-19 Infection)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to find out the effect of aerobic exercise using Bruce protocol on heart rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure after recovery from COVID-19 infection. Methods : In this study, 34 students from D University located in J city were targeted, COVID-19 infected group (17 people) and non-COVID-19 non-infected group (17 people). The Bruce protocol using a treadmill was applied to the aerobic exercise of this study. The Bruce protocol has in the first stage of METs 4 (slope 10 %, speed 2.7 km/h). The second stage was METs 5 (slope 12 %, speed 4 km/h), and the third stage was METs 6 (slope 14 %, speed 5.4 km/h). All measurements were measured 3 times and the average value was used. Results : As a result of this study, as a result of comparing heart rate changes according to aerobic exercise using the Bruce protocol. EG group and the CG group increased significantly according to the progressive exercise load (METs 4~5), and in the third stage of the Bruce protocol between groups, The EG group showed a significantly lower heart rate. As a result of comparing changes in oxygen saturation and blood pressure, there was no significant difference between the EG and C groups according to the gradual exercise load. Conclusion : In conclusion, there was no difference between normal and pressure when MET of moderate intensity exercise (4 to 6) was applied to the effect on heart rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure in healthy adults who were fully recovered from COVID-19. Secondary side effects may occur when high intensity exercise with a MET of 6 or higher, so it is strongly recommended that hospitals or specialized institutions measure exercise and physical ability according to individual exercise intensity.

중장년 한국 남성의 좌식 시간에 따른 영양, 식이 및 건강행태 연구: 국민건강영양조사 제8기 1차년도(2019년) 자료를 이용하여 (Study on nutrition, dietary and health status of middle-aged Korean men according to sedentary hours: based on the 2019 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)

  • 성인 남성은 주된 경제활동 인구로서 앉아서 보내는 시간이 상대적으로 길어 이들의 좌식 시간과 건강의 연관성에 대한 관심과 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 성인 남성의 좌식 시간과 영양, 식이 및 건강 행태의 차이와 관련성에 대해 알아보고 건강 위험 요인을 예방하기 위한 가이드라인의 기초자료로 활용하는 것이다. 피험자 (n = 1,068)는 평소 하루 앉아서 보내는 시간 (시간 및 분)에 따라 4개 그룹으로 분류하였다. 좌식 시간이 가장 긴 그룹의 대상자는 평균 연령이 가장 낮았고 허리둘레가 유의적으로 가장 컸다. 또한 좌식 시간이 가장 긴 그룹의 교육수준과 White collar의 비율이 높았고, 이에 따라 업무 중 고강도와 중강도 신체활동을 하지 않는 비율 또한 높았다. 최근 1년의 음주 빈도는 그룹 간 유의적인 차이는 있었으나, 좌식 시간이 가장 짧은 그룹과 가장 높은 그룹에서 가장 빈번하였으며, 이는 좌식 시간보다는 평균 근로시간과 비슷한 경향이었다. 걷기와 근육 운동 횟수에는 그룹 간 차이가 없었지만, 유산소 운동 실시 비율은 좌식 시간이 긴 그룹에서 더 낮게 나타났다. 식이습관, 평일 수면시간 및 정신건강은 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 당뇨병 의사 진단을 받은 사람은 좌식 시간이 가장 긴 그룹에 가장 많았으나, 골다공증, 관절염, 골관절염, 류마티스성 관절염은 유병 빈도가 미미하였고 그룹 간 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 심혈관질환과 관련된 요인 중 LDL-콜레스테롤만 유의적인 차이가 있었는데, 좌식 시간이 가장 긴 그룹의 혈중 LDL-콜레스테롤 농도가 가장 높았다. 에너지 및 영양소 섭취량의 경우 좌식 시간이 가장 긴 그룹의 비타민 B1과 칼슘 섭취량이 가장 적었고, 비타민 C를 EAR보다 적게 섭취한 분율이 가장 높았다. 본 연구 결과는 한국 성인 남성의 건강 및 영양상태 등이 좌식 시간과 관련이 있다는 것을 시사하므로 좌식 시간을 건강 위험요인으로 인지하고 이를 예방하고 해결할 수 있는 가이드라인을 개발하여야 할 것으로 사료된다.

전기노인 여성의 삶의 질 중 기운에 따른 건강행태와 영양상태 비교: 2019년, 2021년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여 (Comparison of the health behavior and nutrition status of young-old women according to the vitality in their quality of life: based on the 2019, 2021 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)

  • 본 연구는 국민건강영양조사 2019년, 2021년 자료를 활용하여 전기노인 여성의 기운에 따른 건강행태와 영양상태를 비교하고자 하였다. 65-74세 전기노인 여성을 대상으로 하였으며 (n = 1,113) 기운 정도에 따라 네 그룹 (항상 기운 있음, 자주 기운 있음, 가끔 기운 있음, 전혀 기운 없음)으로 나누어 비교하였다. 사회경제적 요인에서 교육수준이 높을수록, 가구소득이 많을수록, 식생활 형편이 좋을수록, 경제활동을 하고 있는 경우에 기운이 높게 나타났다. 만성질환 유병률을 비교했을 때, 관절염, 당뇨병, 골다공증 유병의 경우 기운이 낮게 나타났다. 건강행태를 비교했을 때, 주관적 건강인지가 좋을수록, 유산소 신체활동을 실천할수록 기운이 높게 나타났다. 흡연과 음주에서는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 정신건강 요인에서 6-8시간 정상 수면 시간일수록, 스트레스 정도가 낮을수록, 우울감이 적을수록 기운이 높았다. 식품 섭취를 비교한 결과 식품 섭취량과 감자·전분류, 버섯류, 과일류, 육류, 우유류, 동물성 유지류, 음료류 섭취량이 많을수록 기운이 높았다. 영양소 섭취를 비교한 결과 단백질, 지방, 포화지방산, 단일불포화지방산, 다가불포화지방산, n-6계 지방산, 식이섬유, 당, 인, 칼륨, 마그네슘, 철, 아연, 리보플라빈 섭취량이 많을수록 기운이 높았다. 본 연구를 통해 전기노인 여성의 기운 넘치는 생활을 위해서는 사회경제적인 안정, 관절염, 당뇨, 골다공증 등의 만성질환 예방, 운동, 충분한 수면, 정신건강, 고른 영양섭취가 필요함을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과가 향후 전기노인 여성의 기운을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

기능적 전기 자극과 유산소 운동이 복부비만의 피하지방과 내장지방에 미치는 효과 (The Change of The Effect on The Subcutaneous Fat Area and Visceral Fat Area by The Functional Electrical Stimulation and Aerobic Exercise)

  • Back ground : Subcutaneous fat area is the main factor involved in replacement disease and arteriosclerosis. Simple weight control is the appropriate medical treatment. It's understood that weight reduction does not only reduce the fat concentrations in blood but also reduces blood pressure, improves glucose levels in diabetes patients and reduces incidents of heart disease. there are several methods for reducing fat in the abdominal region but their effectiveness is not folly understood. one method is electrical stimulation of the problem areas. Method : From May 1st 2002 to October 31st. The 15 subjects who received medical examination were aged between 25 and 53 and were of mixed gender. The subjects were divided into two groups one to received functional electrical stimulation and the other a control group. Using Broca's criterion for judging fat grades. I analysed the differences between the two groups before and after the treatment. Subjects received functional electrical stimulation on the abdominal muscle intensity 50Hz. They received this treatment 4 days a week for 40 minutes a day. In the case of aerobic exercise, at the Treadmill, we used it with the intensity of $75\%$ maximum heart rate (220-age). Result 1)After functional electrical stimulation in the case of male subjects, the weight was reduced 1.93kg, obesity $2.60\%$, fat mass 2.73kg, Percent body fat $4.40\%$, waist circumference 6.53cm, circumference of hips 5.53cm. On the other side, the quality of muscle was increased at the rate of 1.03kg, but it's not attentional level. The subcutaneous fat area was reduced by $26.63cm^2$, the visceral fat area was reduced by $43.00cm^2$, In the female subjects, we can see the reduction of fat grade by $26.63cm^2$, the quantity of body fat by 1.5kg, percent body fat by $1.77\%$, circumference of waist by 4.02cm, circumference of hips by 3.67cm, weight by 1.40kg but was increased 0.72kg at the quantity of muscles. We can see the reduction also in the subcutaneous fat area $24.03cm^2$, the visceral fat area by $25.36cm^2$. 2)After aerobic exercise, on the male subjects, we can see reduction of weight by 3.36kg, obesity by $4.00\%$, fat mass by 2.83kg and we can see increase at the soft lean mass by 2.96kg, but we can see reduction, the percent body fat by $3.03\%$, fat distribution by $0.023\%$, circumference of waist by 3.10cm, circumference of hips by 2.23cm. The female subjects show a reduction in the weight by 2.48kg, percent body fat by $2.20\%$, show an increase in the soft lean mass by 1.54kg. We can see a reduction in the quantity of fat mass by 2.32kg, the percent body fat by $2.80\%$, the circumference of waist by 2.16cm, the circumference of hips by 2.68cm, the fat distribution by $0.016\%$, the subcutaneous fat area by $15.25cm^2$ the visceral fat area by $11.52cm^2$. After aerobic exercise, we can't see the attentional change at the total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol. 3)After the application of functional electrical stimulation and aerobic exercise, in result of measurement on the body ingredient, we could see the weight reduction and increase the quantity of muscle with the male group who exercised aerobic. We can see the attentional rate on the electrical stimulation about abdominal fat rate, circumference of waist, circumference of hips. The other hand, I couldn't see the attentional differences between the two groups in the rate of fatness and quantity of body fat and the rate of body fat. There isn't any attentional difference in the area of fat under skin, on the contrary, There is attentional difference in the fat in the internal organs area at the electrical stimulation site. We can't see the attentional change of total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol between electrical stimulation and aerobic exercise. 4)After execution of functional electrical stimulation and aerobic exercise, in result of measurement on change of body ingredient among female objects, We could see weight reduction, increase at muscle quantity in the aerobic exercise group. We could see the attentional differences in the rate of fatness, the rate of abdominal region, the circumference which received electrical stimulation. But, we couldn't see the attentional differences between two groups in the quantity of body fatness, the circumference of hips. The subcutaneous fat area doesn't show the attentional differences. On the Contrary, we could see lots of differences in the visceral fat area of the electrical stimulation group. Conclusion The results show that functional electrical stimulation and aerobic exercise have insignificant differences when if comes to total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol. Though there is affirmative change in body ingredient after both electrical stimulation and aerobic exercise. Functional electrical stimulation is more effective on the subcutaneous fat area and in changing visceral fat area. There fore. It is concluded that the physical therapy is more effective in the treatment of abdominal fatness.
