This paper is to develop a monitoring system with diagnosis for smart cargo sensors that is for management and maintenance of the liquid cargo ships. The main goal of the system is to achieve the total automation system of the cargo sensor. By this study, the active smart sensor for the liquid cargo ships is designed and developed that guarantees high-confidence, stability, and durability. The proposed system consists of a monitoring part of the steam pressure, high-level monitoring, over flowing monitoring, gas monitoring, and tank temperature monitoring. The signals transferred from each unit system are used for sensor diagnosis based on confidence and accuracy. Finally, in this study, the total supervisory monitoring system is developed to maintain and manage the cargo effectively based on fault diagnosis and prognosis of the each sensor system.

As the physical layer on telecommunication network is replaced fiber optic lines, it is increased the need of systematic maintenance for fiber optic lines. Korea Telecom has developed FLOMS in order to establish maintenance processes for optical fiber lines. FLOMS has functions which manages optical facilities and tests optical fiber lines automatically. As a resuls, this system can check and/or report a fault. Operator, who is reponsible for management of optical fiber lines, can test the characteristics of optical fiber lines remotely using FLOMS. As interpoerable with Digital Transmission Management System, FLOMS provides efficient management for optical fiber lines. This system improves the work process to find fault location fast, detect the degradation of fiber quality, and make database of optical facilities efficiently.

네트워크 카메라는 인터넷을 통해 디지털 영상 전송이 가능하고, 다수의 사용자에게 동시에 같은 영상을 실시간으로 제공해줄 수 있다. 이와 같은 네트워크를 이용한 감시 카메라를 위한 기술은 효율적인 서버 기술, 네트워크 기술, 전송 기술, 압축 기술 등과 함께 영상을 재생할 수 있는 클라이언트 기술을 필요로 한다. 이러한, 클라이언트 측의 기능은 PC 등의 데스크탑 뿐만 아니라, 유무선 통신 단말기, PDA 등의 모바일 단말로까지 그 범위를 넓혀가고 있으며, 특히, 셀룰러폰의 수요가 급속히 증가하면서, 모바일 환경에서의 감시 필요성 및 요구가 확대되고 있다. 최근, 이와 관련된 기술과 제품이 개발되고 있기는 하지만, 대부분 특정 모바일 플랫폼에서만 서비스가 가능한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 제약을 해결하기 위하여 기존의 다양한 모바일 플랫폼을 통합하여 플랫폼 간의 호환성과 이식성을 제공하는 WIPI를 기반으로 한 실시간 영상 감시용 뷰어를 개발하여, 네트워크 카메라로 접속하여 영상을 재생할 수 있도록 한다.

Communication environment has rapidly evolved into All-IP based core network, which is centered on a variety of access network, and develops into ubiquitous environment for each user due to the development of multiple interface terminals and the spread of contents usage. Especially, mobile streaming technologies and integrated authentication technologies are needed for mobile users to provide seamless mobility. The technology for seamless mobility services is an important issue. In this paper, the IEEE 802.21 MIH information server is based on the network offering handover technology between heterogeneous network.

Recently, inn the ubiquitous home where a variety of home devices and sensors are inter-connected, various services can be provided through wired and wireless networks invisibly. The convenience of users can be maximized by using intelligent and adaptive interoperability technologies in the home. In this paper, it is designed u-apartment that connected parking system of intelligental form and medical service system based on USN environment with existing apartment. Intelligental form parking system is designed specific structure architecture for effective improvement of parking space and medical service system propose a design about health management of future. In this paper, we propose integrated u-apartment design with parking system and medical equipment using RFID system in ubiquitous environment.

Most homepages of schools are available to publicize activities of education, to load educational materials efficiently. But we can't use current homepages of schools in making characteristic information or sharing educational resources. In this study, this CUBE system with RSS and mobile phone was designed and embodied for sharing characteristic educational activities and works in schools. Currently, CUBE is being under experimental test in elementry schools at Sancheong area, and instructors and students are operating CUBE for sharing education activities and making community in this system,.

인터넷의 도입 및 확대가 활발하게 이루어지면서 보다 많은 이용자들은 홈 네트워킹 기반의 정보 가전 기기, 텔레매틱스, 전자 물류 실현을 위한 전자 태크(RFID), 센서 네트워킹 등 모든 사물이 상호 통신할 수 있는 다양한 서비스를 요구하고 있으며 이를 해결하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 현재인터넷의 기반이 되고 있는 IPv4 주소 체계는 약 43억 개의 주소를 생성할 수 있도록 설계되어 있으며, 그 동안 비효율적인 주소 할당으로 유효한 주소는 불과 5~6억 개 정도만을 사용할 수 있는 실정이다. IPv4 기반의 인터넷 주소 체계로는 앞으로 도래할 유무선 통합 서비스 혹은 방송과 통신이 융합되는 사용자 중심의 인터넷 서비스 네트워크 구축에 많은 문제점을 갖고 있기 때문에 주소 자원을 거의 무한대로 제공하는 IPv6 기반의 인터넷(128비트 IPv6 주소는 2128개의 주소 지원) 도입이 필수적이다. 따라서 현재 IPv4 기반의 인터넷에서 IPv6 기반의 차세대 인터넷으로 전환되고 있으며, 또한 라우터 장비 시장은 차별화된 IPv6 기능을 제공하는 장비 중심으로 재편될 것으로 보인다. 본 고에서는 IPv6 라우터에 대한 IPv6 도입 배경 및 프로토콜에 관련된 제반적 기술을 살펴 보고, 이를 기반으로 외국 시스템들의 현재 구현 상태, IPv6 라우터를 개발하는 데 연구되어야 할 주요 사항 및 국내외 IPv6 도입 추진 현황을 살펴 본다.

In this paper refer to the digital multimedia mobile phone with the combination of broadcasting and the communication the unity of wire and wireless solution that can provide the UMA(Unlicensed Mobile Access) function is added. In UNC(Universal Naming Convention) in the case of CAS(Conditional Access System) is supported, the device(mobile phone) is authenticated through AP and then following the method of broadcasting signal the user can view the wanted contents as long as they want and for this matter the service charge system are proposed.

Many countries in the world introduced MVNO regulations to improve the competitiveness in mobile networks. Fixed operator in U.K. like British Telecom (BT) started MVNO business with Mobile Network Operator (O2) on October 1, 2002. For Korean fixed operator such as Dacom, Hanaro Telecom, Korea Telecom (KT), and Onse Telecom are focusing on MVNO market. Thus, this paper suggests possible regulation plans for mobile communication industry in Korea to enter the mobile market successfully.
