  • 사람들에게 디지털 안내표지판과 애플리케이션을 이용해 에너지 절약을 유도한다. 디지털 안내표지판은 관리자, 사용자, 경영자 모드로 나누어 보다 효율적으로 에너지를 절약한다. 라즈베리파이를 이용하여 전력 시간대, 적용 요금 등을 안내표지판에 나타내고 애플리케이션을 제작하여 사용자에게 알림을 주어 에너지 절약을 유도한다.

  • The typical evacuation guidance system based on fire detectors, which is being widely used in theaters and large buildings, is often operated in an analog manner. In case of fire, it often causes the system to lose a wired line or wireless fire detection sensor, resulting in the difficulty of transmitting signals from a wired or wireless fire detection sensor to the main fire monitoring device. Accordingly, this paper has proposed the broadcasting system for disaster management, having an efficient evacuation guidance plan when a disaster occurs. The system reacts to an emergency situation along with fire alarm sirens in real time. We have implemented the above system by means of a simulation program that prints the evacuation guidance information (e.g., location and time of fire, and evacuation path) on an LCD located in a building through the fire sensor network in case of an emergency (e.g., actual fire). We have developed the simulation system by using mathematical algorithms, such as the optimal path search and the fire smoke diffusion algorithm. This simulation program considers the structure of a building and the location where the fire has initially occurred, applying it to the simulator.

  • Using current evacuation methods, a crew describes the physical location of an accident and guides evacuation using alarms and emergency guide lights. However, in case of an accident on a large and complex building, an intelligent and effective emergency evacuation system is required to ensure the safety of evacuees. Therefore, several studies have been performed on intelligent path finding and emergency evacuation algorithms which are centralized guidance methods using gathered data from distributed sensor nodes. However, another important aspect is effective rescue guidance in an emergency situation. So far, there has been no consideration on the efficient rescue guidance scheme. Therefore, this paper proposes the genetic algorithm based emergency rescue guidance method using distributed wireless sensor networks. Performance evaluation using a computer simulation shows that the proposed scheme guarantees efficient path finding. The fitness converges to the minimum value in reasonable time. The density of each exit node is remarkably decreased as well.

  • The Context-Awareness technology which can provide the appropriate information to the human after estimating a lot of information exceeds the time and space in the ubiquitous environment is being developed now. GIS (Geographic Information System) and LBS (Location Based Services) based context awareness is one of these kinds of technology. The context awareness based transfer guide service which can provide useful information, according to the different information which was got from different sensors which were set in different places, to the pedestrian who is using the transfer center will be introduced in this paper. About the result of the service prototype which was tested in test-bed, the context awareness information such as the inside location and density calculation's accuracy is 90%, and the response time of the service is in 10 seconds, and also, the reliability will be higher if more advanced based infra will be used, so it is consider that it can be used to provide service enough.

A Study on Improvement Plan of Guidance System of Namsan Park for Easy Wayfinding (쉬운 길찾기를 위한 남산 보행안내체계 개선방안)

  • Namsan in Seoul is major tourist attraction. However, despite of the proximity of the location to the center of the city, Namsan is not good for visitors for uncomfortable accessibility. This study proposed improvements of guidance system for easily access. Sign system and pedestrian circulation system were analyzed from the nearest public transportation around the park to where the entry of Namsan park. At first, we surveyed installation and type of sign system by field research and pedestrian way accessing to Namsan park by behavior survey. Through the analysis of current guidance system, this study suggests ways to improve following as; the reclassification of functions and types, sign installation planning and extracting main pedestrian circulation for easy access. Improved guidance system can ameliorate accessibility to Namsan and encourage greater use as the representative park of Seoul.

A Study on standard Model of Tourist Sign Board in Korea (한국 관광안내표지판의 발전모델)

  • Recently, foreign tourists and car owners or motorists are increasing, so tourist sign boards are necessary to inform them. Unfortunately, tourist sign boards are difficult to understand because they are often written incorrectly. This paper has a thorough grasp of this problem and will present an ideal standard model which is precise and detailed. This paper includes research of tourist boards sign Seoul, Kyongju, Pusan, Kwangju, Yosu, Kwang reung in Korea. Also tourist sign boards in the U.K, France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria will be discussed. A survey was conducted of eight hundred people to determine tourist information is obtained. In conclusion, tourist sign board should convey accurate and useful information to people of all ages. Tourist information should be systematic and logical. An ideal standard model of tourist signs will render traveling easier for tourists all over the world. It will be more convenient for both kinds of tourist; domestic and foreign. Futhermore good tourist sign board will give an excellent and bright image.

  • 현대사회는 시각장애인에 대한 복지가 부족하다. 예를 들어 유도블럭의 홰손, 지폐의 점자처리의 모호함 등 시각장애인을 위해 만들어진 복지조차 사용하기 어려운게 현실이다. 그래서 우리는 무선카메라와 Window Phone을 이용하여 상기 불편함을 해소하기 위하여 이 프로젝트를 시작하였다. Guide Line Detection은 앞을 못 보는 시각장애인에게 무선카메라에 보이는 영상에서 유도블럭을 찾아 시각장애인과의 거리를 음성으로 알려준다. Bill Recognition은 지폐를 인식하여 음성으로 알려준다. 길 안내 기능은 길을 찾아가지 못하는 시각장애인에게 특정 지점마다 길 안내정보를 등록하고, 등록된 정보는 시각장애인이 실시간으로 길 안내를 받을 수 있다. 음성인식은 기기를 사용하기 힘든 시각장애인들에 대한 접근성을 높이기 위해 WinPhone Application이 제공하는 모든 기능을 흔들기와 음성만으로 사용할 수 있도록 제공한다. 무선카메라의 화질과 Window Phone의 GPS 불규칙적인 오차 때문에 많은 시행착오가 있었지만 무선카메라는 웹 캠으로, GPS오차는 BingMap API의 GPS 가상 좌표로 대체하여 프로젝트를 마칠 수 있었다.

  • 세계 여러나라의 유도무기 체계에서 사용되고 있는 착화기술에 대한 현황을 기술과 성능, 신뢰성, 안전성, 가격 측면에서 분석한 것이다. 이로써 유도무기체계 적용을 위한 각 착화기술의 상대적인 장단점을 비교할수있고, 가격대비 성능개선에 대한 예측과 무기체계 시스템에 진보된 기술들이 대체되는 경향을 평가할 수있을 것이다. 동시에 각 무기체계에 효과적인 비용과 기술로 최적의 착화시스템을 선택할수 있도록 하는 안내역으로서 보다 현실적이고 다양한 결정을 하는 기초를 제공할수 있으리라 생각된다

  • 대부분의 시각 장애인은 보행을 위해 흰 지팡이 및 안내견의 도움을 받는다. 일반적으로 사용되는 흰 지팡이는 주변 정보의 수집에 한계가 있으며 안내견은 고도의 훈련비용에 따른 비용의 문제점이 있어 그 수가 매우 제한적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 시각 장애인의 보행을 위한 시스템을 제한하고자 한다. 제안하는 시스템은 다음과 같다. 먼저 카메라를 이용하여 보행에 필요한 점자유도블럭을 검출한 후 검출된 점자유도블럭의 상태를 HRTF를 이용한 입체음향으로 소리를 전달하여 시각장애인이 안전한 보행을 할 수 있도록 하였다.
