It is important to improve the germination of grass seeds because they are poor germination under water stress. This experiment was conducted to investigate the response of seeds pre-treated individually with Polyethylene glycol 6000 (PEG) and growth regulators(GA$_3$, Kinetin, NAA) on the germination characteristics when two levels of osmotic potential (0, -5 bar) were put to seeds of Orchardgrass. In the untreated seeds, the total germination rate was decreased under water stress, and the mean germination time was delayed. Priming of Orchardgrass seeds using PEG or GA$_3$ resulted in improved germination under water stress(-5 bar), whereas the opposite was true of kinetin or NAA. The response of seeds primed in solutions of either -15 bar PEG or 100 ppm GA$_3$ was particulary marked compared with the untreated seeds. It is suggested that PEG and GA$_3$ may have positive regulatory effects in triggering the system for water stress alleviation. But the inhibitory effect of the water stress was not completely removed by allowing the seeds to pre-treat in solution of PEG or GA$_3$.

두개의 영상을 정합하는 것은 컴퓨터 비젼분야의 기본적인 과정 중의 한가지이다. 본 논문에서는 영상에서 간결하면서 많은 정보를 가지고 있는 선형특징들을 이용하여 회전각도와 위치변화에 관계없이 영상을 정합하는 방법을 제안한다. 영상에서 edge성분들을 추출하여 구조체로 구성하고 이를 이용하여 Hough공간에서 최대로 누적되는 변환 파라미터들을 추정하고, 후보 파라미터들에 대하여 다시 최적의 정합조건을 가지는 파라미터를 Hough기법을 사용하여 결정한다. 많은 연산양이 요구되기 때문에 전처리 과정을 사용하여 정확하고 빠른 정합을 유도한다

극점에서 비균일 표본화된 음성 신호는 크기열과 간격열의 이중구조로 표현되어, 균일 표본화된 신호에 근거한 기존의 신호처리 방법을 그대로 적용할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 비균일 표본화된 음성 신호에서 에너지, 크기, 영교차율, 함수의 관계를 직접 유도하고, 특징을 살펴보아 비규닝ㄹ 펴본화된 음성신호에서도 균일 표본화된 신호에 해당하는 에너지, 크기, 영교차율과 같은 전처리과정 파라미터의추정이 가능함을 확인한다.

This paper deals with some aspects for the design of induction servomotors with respect to permanent magnet servomotors and standard induction motors as control components. Induction servomotors have much lower weight and moment of inertia than the DC servomotor but cannot reach the excellent values of a brushless DC servomotor with rare earth magnets.

부동산 간접투자 여건을 개선하여 자금흐름의 선순환을 유도하는 것이 부동산 실물 투자 욕구를 흡수할 수 있는 효과적인 대안으로 보인다. 지난해 아파트시장에 이어 토지시장이 다시 들썩이고 있다. 정부의 각종 투기억제정책 등으로 투기가 확산되기는 힘들겠지만 시중 유동성이 자본시장 등으로 선순환되지 않는 한 부동산투기는 언제든지 재현될 가능성이 남아 있다. 부동산 투기가 상품을 바꿔가면서 반복되고 있는 가장 큰 원인으로는 저금리 기조에 따른 풍부한 유동성과 부동산 간접투자상품 등 대체투자 수단이 다양하지 못한 점을 들 수 있다. 이에 부동산 직접투자의 대안으로 부상하고 있는 부동산 간접투자 여건을 진단해 본다.

In our previous studies, it was found that activities of maternal peripheral lymphocytes and thymocytes were depressed during the implantation period in rats and rabbits. This study was therefore attempted to clarify further this immunosuppression locally by determining lymphocyte response in lymph nodes draining the uterus (DLN) and to elucidate the mechanism by which prostaglandin E (PGE) modulates immune response during the implantation process in rats. As compared with non-pregnant rats, the response of DLN lymphocytes to concanavalin A (Con A) was depressed during the implantation period in 100% of rats studied. The activity of DLN lymphocytes depressed on day 8 of pregnancy was, however, restored partially by the treatment of indomethacin (ID), indicating that prostaglandin (PG) might be one of factors responsible for immunomodulation during the process of implantation. DLN lymphocyte activity in non-pregnant rats was suppressed if PGE was pre-treated prior to Con A and this suppression was partially restored by the treatment of ID. Furthermore, DLN lymphocytes pre-treated with PGE produced PGE in vitro and this PGE production was blocked by the treatment of ID, suggesting that PGE induced PGE-producing cells. However, the pretreatment of estradiol, progesterone, and hCG at doses enough to suppress lymphocyte activity was ineffective in inducing PGE-producing cells. From these results, it is suggested that PGE induces PGE-producing suppressor cells, thereby increasing PGE concentration and PGE in turn depresses maternal local immune response as well as systemic immune response during the implantation period in rats.

In this paper, an analysis of the stability for a class of discrete-time neural network control systems is presentd. Based on Lyapunov's direct method, a sufficient stability condition for the neural network control systems is systematically derived and the modified back propagation algorithm which reflects the derived stability condition is suggested. The modified BP originates from the derived sufficient condition and guarantees the exponential stability of the resulting trained closed system. Finally, computer simulation is included to show an example where the derived stability condition and the BP modified bythe condition is used to train the control plant.

The alkylphenols, chlorophenols and bisphenol A were determined by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry-selected ion monitoring mode followed by three work-up methods for comparison; EPA method, isoBOC derivatization method and TBDMS derivatization method. Eleven phenols in water samples were extracted with dichloromethane. Also, solid-phase extraction (SPE) with XAD-4 and subsequent conversion to isobutoxycarbonyl derivatives or tert.-butyldimethylsilyl derivatives for sensitive analysis with the selected ion-monitoring (SIM) mode. The recoveries were 85.1~109.9% (EPA method) and 90.3~126.6% (isoBOC derivatization and TBDMS derivatization), respectively. The method detection limit of bisphenol A for SIM were 0.732 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ (EPA method), 0.002 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ (isoBOC derivatization) and 0.021 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ (TBDMS derivatization). The SIM responses were linear with the correlation coefficient varying 0.9755~0.9981 (isoBOC derivatization), and 0.9908~0.9996 (TBDMS derivatization). When these methods were applied to treated wastewater sample from a polyethylene plant, the concentrations of 11 phenols were below the method detection limit.
