The research was performed responding to the growing needs of Korean foster care programs. It deals specifically with the people who voluntarily provide foster care despite the lack of Government support. The research has also made an effort to understand how the foster parents perceive their parent roles for the foster children. According to the research results based on the parents from the H foster care center, it showed that foster parents generally come from higher educational backgrounds compared to their equivalent age group and also similar or even higher income levels than the average family residing in an urban area. Conclusively, their traits in socio-demographic factors is said to be homogeneous. The research also focused on examining the role perceptions of Korean foster parents. The foster parents were well aware and educated on the significance of the children's psychological adjustments. However, the research recognized some role responsibilities that the parents failed to understand. Hopefully the foster care centers will take on such responsibilities and contribute in helping the parents realize their insufficiencies. Based on the results of the research, the researcher was able to recognize the important issues involved in the recruitment, selection, and education process for the foster parents. Additionally, new role adjustments are necessary among both foster parents and foster centers.

This study examined the elementary school teachers' present utilization of science museums in teaching-learning and their perceptions of the educational programs in science museums. The results indicate that teachers have not utilized science museums as intimately as possible with formal instruction, therefore, the students' experiences of science museums are usually limited. The main reasons for lower than optimum usage of science museums in their teaching and learning is not because of its insignificant educational effects, but because of the lack of external and administrative support mechanisms. The elementary school teachers prefer to commit to programs in science museums such as science camps or experiment activities, and those exhibitions which have some kind of clear and discernable relation to the school curriculum. The results also indicate that most teachers want to participate in the various activities of science museums, such as developing and managing the programs or pre- and post activities for museum field trips, participating in the teachers' community in science museums, and so on.

대교협은 고등교육의 발전과 더불어 대교협의 성장을 위해 자율규제기관으로서의 기능을 다해야한다. 아울러 정책연구기관이자 정보센터로서의 임무를 다하기 위해 노력해야 하며 위탁사업수행자로서의 역할도 요구된다. 임의 단체가 아닌 특수법인으로서 정부와 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있는 기관임을 주지하고, 교육부와 업무 협의를 할 수 있는 채널을 구축하고 교육부와 대학 사이에서 소통 기제로서의 기능을 강화해 나가야 할 것이다.

As a method of providing lifelong educational opportunities to working professionals, some legal provisions allowing for the establishment and management of an entrusted education system linked with college and corporation was duly approved in 1994. According to the recent trend in the military organization, to provide higher educational opportunities to noncommissioned officers and warrant officers with the purpose of inspiring their spirit and improving military capabilities has been much increased. Professional soldiers such as noncommissioned officers and warrant officers have a lot of problems to continue their attendance at school because of regular military maneuvers, constant alert status and long-term outdoor military training. Even more serious problem is that the current curriculums and some departments in college are not concurrent with the present job specifications and the military specialties of the individual soldier as well. The purpose of this paper is, therefore, to introduce a newly revised educational model that provides more viable academic courses and curriculums to military professionals along with a proposal for the establishment and management of long distance educational system within barracks, utilizing the latest information and telecommunication technology.

21세기의 세계화 정보화 시대를 주도하며 살아갈 자율적이고 창의적인 한국인을 육성하기 위하여 제7차 교육과정이 고시되었으며, 이에 따라 7차 교육과정에서는 정보통신기술 (ICT) 교육을 강화하는 정책들을 수립하여 활성화하고 있다. 그러나 지금까지 학교 현장과 다양한 문헌 연구를 통한 결과로서 ICT 교육은 만족스런 결과를 도출해내지 못한 상황이다. 이러한 상황에서 주5일제 수업의 실시의 부각과 함께 ICT 교육에 대한 재정립의 움직임이 시작되고 있다. 본 원고에서는 본인이 집필진 및 검토진으로 참여한 교육인적자원부에서 KERIS에 위탁하여 수행한 연구과제의 결과물을 중심으로 ICT 교육 지침을 논의하고 그 의의와 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

This study aimed at seeking the improvement and developmental direction of support business of industry and learning cooperation superior vocational high schools by providing basic materials. Of 20 high schools selected for the support of industry and learning cooperation superior vocational high schools, 10 schools were selected with the consideration of local characteristics and the features of support business of the schools. Based on initial business plan and interim reports of the selected schools, the data were collected from related report materials, theses and reports. The following conclusions were made in this study. First, with regard to consignment education conducted under the agreement with an outside education specialized institution, consignment education institution directly related to the business area which was promoted by the school was selected. Second, the management of industrial field experience education program included various activities Third, as for employing teachers involving both industry and teaching and lecturing by outside experts, lectures by outside experts were aggressively delivered based on specialized areas. Fourth, as for graduates' career status, the employment rates of the entire university students and students who participated in business were lower than the rate of students who entered schools of higher grade.

2016년 7월~2018년 2월까지 해운회사의 상선에서 위탁실습을 다녀온 4학년 학생을 대상으로 위탁실습생의 근로실태 및 실습만족도에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 평균 근로시간은 10시간, 최소 휴식시간은 4시간 미만이 가장 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 실습 만족도에 대하여 만족 또는 보통 수준을 보였으며, 벌크선과 컨테이너선에서 실습한 학생들의 만족도가 다소 낮게 나왔다. 라면 끓이기, 휴식 중 작업, 야식 준비 등 실습 목적 외 부당한 지시를 받는 사례가 다수 있었다. 실습생은 선원법 상 선원이 아닌 자로 분류되어 있다. 이로 인해 근로시간 또는 휴식시간 등에 대해 보호를 받지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 또한 일부 해운회사에서는 실습교육을 가장한 실질적 근로(노동) 인력으로 활용하고 있는 사례가 있어 이에 대한 대책 마련이 시급하다.
