통신해양기상위성 개발 계획

  • 독자적 위성통신 기술 개발, 기상재난 조기예측체계 구축 및 해양관측을 위해 국내최초로 제작될 정지궤도 위성인 통신해양기상위성은 집중호우, 태풍, 황사, 적조로 인한 피해를 최소화하여 대국민 복지를 제고하고 국가재난 안전관리 체계 구축 및 남북통일에 대비한 신속한 위성통신망 구축을 목적으로 하고 있다. 통신해양기상 위성 개발 사업은 2003년에 본사업에 착수하고 2008년에 발사할 예정이며 과학기술부, 정보통신부, 해양수산부, 기상청의 주관으로 한국항공우주연구원, 한국전자통신연구원, 해양연구원, 기상연구소 및 국내 관련산업체 등이 개발에 참여하게 된다. 정지궤도위성의 국내개발을 통해 외화절감 및 수입대체효과를 가져오고, 통신해양기상위성 독자개발국으로서의 대외적 위상을 제고할 것이다.

  • 반사형 액정표시장치는 저전력 휴대용 표시장치 시장이 급격하게 성장함에 따라 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 현재 반사형 액정표시장치는 밝기면에서 우수한 특성을 갖는 mixed mode TN(MTN)과 reflective TR(RTN)과 같은 단일편광자를 이용한 액정모드를 기본적으로 사용하고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 액정모드는 이중편광자를 이용한 액정모드와 비교해서 dark 상태에서 누설광이 많이 발생하여 대비비가 저하되는 단점이 있다. (중략)

  • 정보서비스 이용이 보편화됨에 따라 개인과 조직 모두에게 보안은 매우 중요한 이슈가 되었다. 보안위협에 대비하기 위해 사용되는 정보보안 제품 및 서비스에 필수적인 요소가 암호이며, 정보 이용 및 관리 환경이 다양해짐에 따라 그 중요성이 점차 강조되고 있다. 암호분야의 지속적인 발전을 위해서는 관련 연구의 성과에 대한 측정 및 평가가 필수적일 것이다. 본고에서는 세계암호학회(International Association for Cryptologic Research, IACR) 주관의 학술행사 및 학술지에서 발표된 논문을 기준으로 암호분야 연구의 성과를 고찰하였다. 발표논문편수와 발표자수 기준으로 국내 암호연구 성과를 파악하였고, 국내 연구자의 연구결과물의 국제적 위상에 대해 비교하였다.

Voxel-based Investigations of Phase Mask Effects on Susceptibility Weighted Images (화소 간 분석을 이용하여 자화율 가중 영상(SWI)에 나타난 위상 마스킹의 효과 분석)

  • To investigate effects of phase mask on susceptibility-weighted images (SWI) using voxel-based analyses in normal elderly subjects. A three-dimensional (3D) gradient echo sequence ran to obtain SWIs in 20 healthy elderly subjects. SWIs with two (SWI2) and four (SWI4) phase multiplications were achieved with positive (PSWI) and negative (NSWI) phase masks to investigate phase mask effects. The voxel-based comparisons were performed using paired t-tests between PSWI and NSWI and between SWI2 and SWI4. Differences of signal intensities between magnitude images and SWI4 were larger than those between magnitude images and SWI2s. Differences of signal intensities between magnitude images and PSWIs were larger than those between magnitude images and NSWIs. Moreover, the signal intensities from NSWI2s and NSWI4s were greater than those from PSWI2s and PSWI4s, respectively. More differences of signal intensities between NSWI4 and PSWI4s were found than those between NSWI2s and PSWI2s in the whole brain images. The voxel-based analyses of SWI could be beneficial to investigate susceptibility differences on the entire brain areas. The phase masking method could be chosen to enhance brain tissue contrast rather than to enhance venous blood vessels. Therefore, it is recommended to apply voxel-based analyses of SWI to investigate clinical applications.

  • A full digital receiving active phased array antenna generates final receiving beams by digital beam forming of received digital signals in element-level that makes difficult to use typical near-field measurement method. Thus in this paper, a modified near-field measurement method which is suitable for full digital receiving active phased array antenna is proposed. Also the measured results of receiving beam pattern and G/T using developed L-band full digital receiving active phased array antenna are shown for the verification of proposed method.

  • It is necessary to grasp the characteristics of traffic flow passing through a specific road section and the topological structure of the road in advance in order to quickly prepare a movement management strategy in the event of a disaster or disaster. It is because it can be an essential basis for road managers to assess vulnerabilities by microscopic road units and then establish appropriate monitoring and management measures for disasters or disaster situations. Therefore, this study presented spatial density, time occupancy, and betweenness centrality index to evaluate vulnerabilities by road link in the city department and defined spatial-temporal and topological vulnerabilities by clustering analysis based on distance and density. From the results of this study, road administrators can manage vulnerabilities by characterizing each road link group. It is expected to be used as primary data for selecting priority control points and presenting optimal routes in the event of a disaster or disaster.

Using Topology Optimization, Light Weight Design of Vehicle Mounted Voltage Converter for Impact Loading (위상 최적화 기법을 이용한 충격하중에 대한 차량 탑재형 전력변환장치의 마운트 경량화 설계)

  • In this study, it is describe to an optimization analysis process for the weight reduction of the voltage converter in the electric vehicle charging systems. The optimization design is a technique that finds the optimal material distribution under a given material quantity constraint by combining the design sensitivity with the material properties and the mathematical optimization. Among the topology optimization, a lightweight design is performed by a solid isotropic material with penalization with simple formula and well-convergence. The lightweight design consists of three steps. As a first step, a finite element model for the basic design of the on-board voltage converter was constructed and static analysis was performed on the load. In the second step, the optimum shape is obtained for the lightweight by performing the topology optimization using the solid isotropic material with penalization applying the stiffness coefficient of the isotropic material to the static analysis result. As a final step, impact analysis was performed by applying a half-sinusoidal pulse shape impact load which satisfies the impact test standard of the vehicle-mounted part with respect to the optimum shape. In the topology optimization, the design domain was defined as the mounting bracket area, and the design technology was finally achieved by optimizing the mounting bracket to achieve a weight reduction of 20% over the basic design.

Influence of Radome Types on GNSS Antenna Phase Center Variation (GNSS 안테나 위상중심변동에 레이돔이 미치는 영향)

  • This paper deals with the impact of a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) antenna radome on the PCV (Phase Center Variations) and the estimated kinematic coordinates. For the Trimble and Leica antennas, specially set up CORS (Continuously Operation Reference Stations) in Korea, the PCC (Phase Center Corrections) were calculated and compared for NONE, SCIS, SCIT, and TZGD radome from the PCV model published by the IGS (International GNSS Services). The results revealed that the PCC differences compared to the NONE were limited to about 1mm in the horizontal component while those of the vertical direction ranged from a few millimeters to a maximum of 7mm. Among the radomes of which PCV were compared, the SCIT had the most significant influence on the vertical component, and its GPS (Global Positioning System) L2 and L2 PCC (Phase Center Corrections) had opposite direction. As a result of comparing the kinematic coordinates estimated by the baseline processing of 7 CORSs with an application of the PCV models of the various radomes, the SCIS which was actually installed at CORS in Korea showed 3.4mm bias, the most substantial impact on the ellipsoidal height estimation whereas the SCIT model resulted in relatively small biases.

좌담:전환점에 선 협회, 어떻게 달라져야 하나

  • 건축문화창달의 구심체로서 건축계 발전과 공익에 이바지하고 건축사 회원의 권익옹호 및 업무개선에 앞장서 온 대한건축사협회는 36년의 오랜 역사가 말해주듯 7천7백여 회원과 산하 16개 시도건축사회와 84개 지역건축사회로 구성된 조직력을 갖춘 전문자역사단체로 당당히 자리매김했다. 그러나 국내 여타 전문자격사단체들과 마찬가지로 지난 경제성장기 동안 제도의 틀 안에서 안정을 누려온 협회에 대해 그 기능과 역할을 재정비해야 한다는 건축계 안팎의 목소리가 점차 높아지고 있으며, 회원들의 요구 또한 적극적이며 다양해지고 있다. 여기에다 장기간 계속된 건축경기의 침체는 건축사사무소들의 경영상태를 크게 악화시켜 회비 수입에만 의존해온 협회의 재정상태를 어렵게 하므로써 향후 협회재정 자립의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 더욱이 최근 정부의 규제개혁정책에 의해 설계도서신고제가 폐지되는 등 회원들의 의무규정이 상당부분 완화되었으며 또한 임의단체로의 전환과 함께 회원가입이 자유화됨에 따라 협회로서는 회원 결속력 강화와 자생력 확보라는 두 과제를 시급히 해결해야만 하는 상황에 직면해 있다. 특히 WTO에 의한 건축서비스시장 개방이 가속화되고, 이러한 무한경쟁시대에 대비해 정부가 각종 규제완화 정책들을 지속적으로 추진하는 등 앞날에 적지 않은 변화가 불어닥칠 것으로 예상됨에 따라 우리 건축사의 이익과 주장을 대변하는 창구로서의 기능 또한 중요시되고 있다. 따라서 전환기에 선 협회의 발전적 앞날을 위해서는 보다 다각적인 방향에서 그 위상을 재정립하고 또한 국제화ㆍ개방화ㆍ정보화시대에 제 기능과 역할을 다할 수 있는 전문조직으로 거듭나야 할 것이다. 이에 본지에서는 이번 좌담을 통해 협회의 기능과 역할을 재조명해 보고 아울러 사회적 요구에 부응하는 전문자격사단체로서의 위상을 확립해 나가기 위한 다양한 의견을 듣는 자리를 마련하였다.

A Study on the Development of Indoor Spatial Data Model Using CityGML ADE (CityGML ADE를 이용한 실내공간 데이터모델 개발에 관한 연구)

  • W ith the recent increasing build and application for 3D spatial information, the importance of management and application for spatial information based on indoor space has been increased. Especially, Due to the increasing of the scale and complexity of the building according to the development of construction technologies several studies have been conducted to provide the services based on indoor space such as indoor navigation for disaster. Therefore, to efficient manage and service for information of complicated indoor space, it is necessary to extend and develop 3D spatial model and services that have been developed for outdoor space. In this paper, Indoor Spatial Data Model(ISDM) is developed to support building spatial information for complicated indoor space and location based services through topological information. ISDM contains a feature model which is a CityGML Application Domain Extension(ADE) model and a topology model that refers the IndoorGML.
