2005년 리우환경회의 이후 지구환경보전을 위한 노력이 확대되고 이를 위한 친환경 교통이용에 대한 요구가 증대할 뿐만 아니라 고유가 시대를 맞이하여 승용차의 효율성, 편리성에서 시작된 승용차시대의 한계성이 최근 서서히 드러나고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 승용차가 교통문제해결의 수단이 되지 못하며 지구환경에 악영향이 확대됨에 따라 최근 친환경적인 자전거에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 2010년 까지 만들어질 "자전거 전용 도로망 조기구축계획"에 따라 이용객의 편익을 위해 설치되는 자전거 정거장들의 최적지를 선정하고, 최적지 위치와 각 도로 환경에 대한 정보와 대화형 자전거 GIS 웹 서비스를 만들어 제공하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.

위치기반 서비스의 기초적인 부분이며 필수적인 부분이 바로 사용자가 자신의 위치에 대한 인지를 명확하게 할 수 있도록 위치를 표시하고 보여주기 위한 지도 데이터 서비스이다. 지도 데이터 서비스를 위해서는 지리정보를 특정 어플리케이션에 의존함이 없이 즉시 볼 수 있는 형태의 포맷으로 변환하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 충족시킬 수 있는 포맷으로 웹브라우저 상에서 바로 볼 수 있는 SVG를 고려할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 GIS Vector Map의 대표적인 파일 형식인 DXF, SHP, MIF를 분석하였다. 또한, 이들 파일 형식을 공통된 하나의 파일형식인 XML로 변환하여 DB를 구축하고, 구축된 XML 데이터를 SVG로 변환하는 엔진을 구현하였으며 이를 통하여 $98\%$이상의 변환 효율을 갖는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

화석 연료의 환경오염, 지구온난화현상 그리고 70년대 발생했던 두 차례의 오일 쇼크 등으로 대체 에너지에 대한 중요성은 날로 커지고 있다. 이에 따라 최근에는 무한정 에너지를 얻을 수 있는 태양에너지에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 현재 사용되는 대체 에너지 관련 데이터베이스 시스템은 데이터의 이력, 공간 데이터 그리고 데이터가 갖는 속성 데이터 등을 동시에 처리한 수 있는 능력이 부족하다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 전국 20개 도시에 대한 엑셀 파일 포맷의 대체 에너지 관련 데이터를 효과적으로 분석하여 데이터베이스를 설계한다. 또한 GIS 도구를 활용하여 인터넷으로 보여 줌으로써 사용자는 쉽게 웹 브라우저를 통하여 지도 서비스와 함께 대체 에너지 데이터를 분석 할 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 실세계의 비디오 영상을 기반으로 사용자에게 비디오내의 지리객체들의 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 시스템 구현 기법을 제시한다. 제안된 기법은 2차원 수치지도와 3차원 부가속성을 가진 3차원 데이터베이스를 이용하여 비디오와 지리정보를 연계할 수 있는 새로운 기법을 제시하고 미디어 GIS 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한, 2차원, 3차원, 미디어 데이터간의 상호연계 및 운용기능을 제공함으로써 기존의 지리정보시스템 분야의 새로운 패러다임을 제시한다. 3차원 그래픽 매핑기법은 기존의 비디오에서 얻어진 이미지에 대한 별도의 이미지 프로세싱 과정 없이 지리정보를 서비스 할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 제안된 방법을 이용하여 비디오 영상을 스트리밍하면서 클라이언트가 지리 정보서비스 받을 수 있는 GeoVideo 서버 및 웹을 통해 서비스를 제공하는 GeoVideo 클라이언트 시스템을 구현하였다.

Much research on semantic geographic information systems that incorporating the Semantic Web and geographic information has been actively studied. However, the existing geographic information systems have a system dependency problem that users can input and retrieve non-spatial information only in a specific system. It also causes difficulty in providing rich services. Therefore, this paper proposes an implementation model for population of Geo-ontology from non-structured Web resources. The proposed model can populate instances for Web ontology independently of systems, and thus it enables a richer Web service development. Finally, this paper shows the prototype that populates instances including a Geo-ontology building example for a University selected as an application domain.

In this paper, we propose ubiquitous tree management system based on GIS and smart-phone using the object-oriented design modeling to maximize the efficiency of tree management. For this, proposed system is implemented in the form of client/server (C/S). The spot tree management system as the client is based on the mobile(PDA, Smart-Phone), whereas the tree management system based on PC as the server makes use of GIS. Also, Web service method instead of CDMA used in exist studies is used for tree data communication among C/S. And problems of existing studies, that is excessive maintenance costs, accessibility shortage of variety users, connectivity shortage of geographic information system will be settled through the convergence of the proposed system development methods, GIS system, smart devices. Therefore, we verify proposed system by using the systemic unit test and qualitative assessment respectively and prove to be more excellent than the existing system based on the mobile, in terms of systemic effectiveness and extendability.

일반적으로 지리정보 서비스의 목적은 사용자에게 어떻게 하면 좀 더 쉽고 정확하며 빠르게 정보를 전달하는가에 있다. 지리정보 서비스가 발달하고 정보통신이 발달함에 따라 많은 사용자 요구가 증가하고 있는데 그 중 전자 지도 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 기존의 지리정보 시스템(GIS)은 많은 웹과 연동하여 웹 사이트에서 지도 정보 및 주변위치정보(POI : Point Of Interest) 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 또한 지리정보 데이터는 그 특수성에 의해 정보의 현재성, 다양성, 위치정확도, 등급분류, 기타 주요 속성정보로 구성 요소를 정의 하여 제공하고 있다. 이에 OGC(Open GIS Consortium) 에서 제안한 지리 데이터 공유 및 저장의 표준인 GML(Geography Markup Language) 명세에 기반하여 POI 정보를 가시화하는 시스템인 GVP(GML Viewer POI) 설계한다. 특히 데이터 전송 트래픽을 최소화하기 위한 특정한 핵심 POI 위치 정보를 제공한다.

It is important to scrutinize spatial patterns in crime analysis since crime data has geographical attribute in itself. We focus on the development of ¨Crime Analysis GIS¨ prototype which can discover spatial patterns in crime data by integrating mapping functions of GIS and spatial analysis techniques. The structure of this system involves integration of DBMS and GIS, and the major functions of the system include (i) exploring spatial distribution of point data, (ii) mapping hot-spot, (iii) clustering analysis of crime occurrence, and (iv) analyzing aggregated areal data. The process of design and implementation of this system is based on object-oriented methodologies. A web-based extension of the prototype using 3-tier architecture is currently under development.

본 연구의 목적은 GIS를 활용하여 환경홈닥터와 관련된 정보를 관리하고 활용할 수 있는 환경홈닥터 관리시스템을 구축하는데 있다. 환경홈닥터 관리시스템은 환경홈닥터 DB관리시스템, 사이버 환경컨설팅시스템, 환경홈닥터 WebGIS 시스템, 원격 현장조사시스템으로 구성하였다. 원격 환경홈닥터 DB 관리시스템은 사용자 DB, 환경홈닥터 DB, 환경컨설팅 DB를 구축하고 관리할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 원격 환경홈닥터 서비스시스템은 홈페이지를 이용하여 환경컨설팅 업무를 수행할 때 발생하는 홈페이지 관련일반정보와 환경홈닥터 관련 정보를 통합하여 관리할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 환경홈닥터 WebGIS 시스템은 지원업체에 대한 공간정보 및 속성정보, 도로 및 주요 건물들에 대하여 GIS DB화하고 ESRI사의 ArcIMS를 이용하여 사용자가 언제 어디서나 웹을 통하여 검색하고 이를 활용할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 사이버 환경컨설팅 시스템은 지원요청 업체와 환경홈닥터가 직접 만나지 않고도 환경컨설팅 업무를 수행할 수 있으므로, 환경홈닥터 서비스 지원도구로 활용할 수 있다. 또한 환경홈닥터 제도 운영시 발생하는 방대한 양의 데이터를 체계적으로 관리하고 진단이력 및 유사사례 검색 등의 기능을 신속하게 수행할 수 있으므로, 효율적인 환경컨설팅 업무 수행에 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 WebGIS에 의해 환경홈닥터를 관리함으로써 공간정보와 속성정보를 쉽게 관리하고 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
