In the web- based educational system, how to improve interaction among learners are very important by the Internet. Therefore interpersonal interaction is essential for a good educational environment. In this paper, a web-based PBL(Problem-Based Learning) system is designed and implemented to improve learner's interaction. I investigated how the method for improving interaction affect PBL activities and how students perceive the web-based PBL learning experience. The result of experiment showed that the suggested system facilitated learners' self-directed learning process and interaction.

SWF(Shock Wave Flash) file is a format file for vector graphics produced by Adobe. It is widely used for a variety of contents such as advertising at websites, widgets, games, education, and videos and it contains various types of data such as sound sources, script, API and images. Many SWF files contain URL information on action script for communication in the network and they can be used as important research data as well as PC users' Web Browser history in terms of forensic investigation. And a decompiler for analyzing SWF files exists by which SWF files can be analysed and URL information can be verified. However, it takes a long time to verify the URL information on action scripts of multiple SWF files by the decompiler. In this paper, analysis of URL information on action scripts and extraction of URL information from multiple SWF files by designing analysis tools for URL information in SWF files is studied.

The purposes of this study were to examine the features of web fashion magazines and to suggest an effective website model for them. Seven web fashion magazines were analyzed. The evaluating criteria included: contents, design, navigation, and services. In addition, online-questionnaires were sent to 40 end users to obtain the information regarding user behaviors on the elected web fashion magazines. The results show that a suggested model should include various aspects: 1) providing currents information. 2) consistency in design, 3) easy in navigation, and 4) searching function etc.

Standish Group 조사에 의하면 1994년부터 2004년까지 10년간 소프트웨어 프로젝트의 원가 초과율이 180%에서 56%로 낮아졌고 납기 초과율은 164%에서 84%로 낮아져 프로젝트의 품질 수준이 높아진 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 결과의 교훈은 SW 프로젝트를 보다 작은 시간 프레임으로 나눠 짧은 시간 프레임 내에서 설계, 프로토타이핑, 개발, 테스트를 반복적으로 수행하고 소프트웨어가 자라는 방식의 프로세스 적용이라고 설명했는데 이러한 특징을 갖는 것이 바로 애자일(Agile:기민한) 방법론이다.[1] 그렇다면 애자일 방법 적용이 과연 프로세스 품질 성숙도를 어느 정도 충족시킬 수 있는지에 대한 접근도 이제는 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 웹 서비스 제품 개발 프로세스에 Agile 방법론 중 하나인 Scrum 방법론을 적용한 조직의 사례를 통하여 프로세스 품질 성숙도 요소 충족 여부를 분석함으로써 애자일 방법론을 적용한 조직의 프로세스 품질 성숙도 측정에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

This study aims to emphasize the need for the in-depth experience and understanding of desire as to the Web Service and Design Planning through the introduction of the methodology which was developed by mixing quantitative utilization analysis and qualitative utilization analysis and to propose the active use of that. The methodology of this study is significant in that it tries to identify the latent experience and desire of user and reflect them in the Web Service and Design Planning through the repetition of 3 staged circular process and exploratory process related to the investigation category of people, prototype and product.

With the increase of the number of Internet users, various methodologies have been proposed for the effective design of web page. However, the prior methodologies have focused only on the functional aspect of web page while ignoring the emotional aspects of web pages. This paper focuses on the emotional design of home pages and aims to provide a methodology to design a web page suitable for goal emotions. In order to achieve the main purpose, we have conducted three related studies. First, we have identified basic emotional dimensions representing various feeling users have from web pages as a pool of emotional adjectives. Second, we have identified key design elements related to the emotion by observing the design process of expert designers. Third, we examined the causal relation between the perceived emotion and designed elements. The results indicate that some design elements are more effective to produce certain feeling than others. This paper ends with limitations and implications of the study results.

시멘틱웹이란 컴퓨터가 정보의 의미를 이해하고 그 의미를 조작 할 수 있는 웹으로서 기존의 웹으로는 불가능했던 데이터의 자동처리를 가능하게 하는 차세대 웹 기술을 말한다. 이러한 웹을 위해서는 표준화된 데이터 표현 방법을 통해 기술된 내용을 기계가 이해할 수 있도록 해주는 온톨로지 시스템이 필요하다. 온톨로지 시스템은 일반적으로 OWL(web ontology language)로 표현된 온톨로지와 지식을 처리하는 추론시스템으로 구성되어 있으며 추론시스템으로는 연구 구현 예가 많은 LP(Logic Programming)방식의 추론시스템이 많이 사용된다. 하지만 LP방식의 추론기법들은 온톨로지를 처리하는데 있어 여러 가지 제약사항을 가지며 이로 인해 온톨로지 정보의 추론에 대한 효용성은 떨어진다. 이에 본 논문에서는 온톨로지 정보를 추론하기 위해 사용되는 기존 시스템들을 조사해 분류하고 문제점과 장점을 파악한 후 추론엔진의 효용성을 높이는데 필요한 최소한의 기능이 무엇인지 파악하여 기존의 LP엔진을 최대한 활용한 OWL추론엔진을 개발하는데 이용하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine current issues in theories and practices of bibliographic organization of and access to the Web resources. and find out how to apply them to libraries in Korea. Literature reviews and case studies of five major academic Libraries in Korea as well as United State were conducted to describe and analyze patterns of actual bibliographic organization and access. Libraries definitely vary in how to organize or integrate bibliographic records of Web resources into OPAC and how they provide access to electronic journals and selected Web sites. Academic libraries in Korea are expected to collect more systematically and comprehensively Web resources of high quality and establish strategic plans for building reliable Web resource collection.

As the use of the Internet becomes more popular, a huge amount of information is published on the Web, and users can access the information effectively with Web search services. Since Web search services retrieve relevant documents from those collected by Web robots we need to improve the crawling quality of Web robots. In this paper, we suggest evaluation criteria for Web robots such as efficiency, continuity, freshness, coverage, silence, uniqueness and safety, and present various functions to improve the performance of Web robots. We also investigate the functions implemented in the conventional Web robots of NAVER, Google, AltaVista etc. It is expected that this study could contribute the development of more effective Web robots.

This paper describes a Web search optimization study that investigates both static and dynamic tuning methods for optimizing system performance. We extended the conventional fusion approach by introducing the "dynamic tuning" process with which to optimize the fusion formula that combines the contributions of diverse sources of evidence on the Web. By engaging in iterative dynamic tuning process, where we successively fine-tuned the fusion parameters based on the cognitive analysis of immediate system feedback, we were able to significantly increase the retrieval performance. Our results show that exploiting the richness of Web search environment by combining multiple sources of evidence is an effective strategy.
