  • Recently, it is increasing a users requiring actually and a variety of service due to a growth of wet based technique and network technique. In services, the interest in web and mobile contents domain is increasing rapidly. The most contents supported point or a E-Money as result of contents's usage. But, the point system be in name only due to a lack of a contents using a point or a related service. As a solution for this problem, this paper designed a supported system that integrated a point system supporting others contents and can associated to a game using that point. we made a simple game and supporting contents in web for simulating the designed system. Also, we realized the mobile system for communicating a data causing in web.

  • Many web-based simulation environments have been proposed to create models and execute simulation through the Web. Although web-based simulation has the advantage of utilizing many computers connected to Internet, overhead of the web server and heavy traffic caused by Java RMI degrade the performance and scalability of simulation. In this paper, we design and implement web-based distributed simulator using Java for the scalability and performance. In addition, we can apply the proposed simulator to create model server and client engines in online game. We apply the proposed simulator to simulate ATM switch queueing model.

  • This study is an attempt to find out the meaning of game to middle-aged women who enjoy internet web board game as part of the leisure. In order to discover the perceptions and emotions of middle-aged women regarding game, in-depth interviews with the five women of 48 to 63-year-old were conducted. The results are: First, the web board games to middle-aged women is an opposition of labor, but at the same time a part of day-long procedure of labor. Second, most middle-aged women are not in an autonomous environment where they can pursue active hobbies. Third, middle-aged women do not tolerate sacrificing money or housework on game because the web board games are regarded as a worthless activity. Finally, middle-aged women do not transform the existing social relationships into online relationships, nor form new social relationships through internet. Based on these results, we could draw a rough picture overviewing the gaming experience of middle-aged women, which has been more or less ignored in academic field. game experiences; middle-aged women; web board game; leisure/labor; game culture;

  • 'I-Ching Storytelling Web-Cartoon Game' suggested by Prof. Shim and Research Group may provide users with the opportunity of writing story based on I-Ching. I-Ching is the cosmological thoughts intrinsic to East Asian culture. In the perspective of the narratology, I-Ching can bee seen as a kind of database of narratives since it classifies all events emerging from the meet between the actor(human-人) and the background(time/space-天地) as the story material into 384 narrative elements(sequence) and 64 themes(motive), and consistently constructs their causal relationships. So while trying to articulate I-ching with the digital storytelling methodology, we developed the web-cartoon game. With this game, users can creatively make their own story as a play by freely interpreting, retrieving, and recomposing those 386 narrative elements and 64 themes with the I-ching's narrative guideline.

  • As computer technology is in progress and many educational methods have been emerged, web-based cooperative learning and educational games have gained a lot of interests. Some cooperative learning systems and game-based educational systems have been suggested, but few cooperative learning systems use games. This paper builds a new web-based cooperative learning system using games that enables learners to actively participate and have high interests in learning. In our system, cooperation study is performed in each group and a group member competes with other group members using games. A crossword puzzle game is adopted because of ease to use and fit with cooperative learning scenarios. Our suggested system is implemented and used by two classes of high school students to evaluate this system. The experimental results show that our system effectively improve students' learning interests and increase their academic achievement.

  • This paper describes the development of an optimal 3D maze path game as web-based game contents. Client user using web can access and run java applet program with download of java byte code with the independence of hardware system. The optimal 3D maze path game developed in this paper consists of random maze path generation module, selected path input module, weighted optimal path search module, and path comparison module. It enhances the cognition faculty of game users with the comparison of the maze path searched by optimal path search algorithm and the selected maze path by game users.

  • The primary concern here is to discover the what and how of the computer same development. In other words, the goal of this research is help the evaluation of Creative Croup Thinking System (CGTS), become aware of areas of need for the development computer game. For the development computer game, the creative thinking is one of the most important principles. The creative thinking is the first step of the development computer game of process. In order to save time, effective qualifies, and achieve the goals, the researcher has studied the web programing on the Creative Croup Thinking System (CGTS).
