The term 'cost reduction' often carries a negative image in a sense of sacrifice of other management elements such as qualify, safety, client satisfaction, etc. However creative cost reduction approaches can achieve not only cost reduction itself but also value for money. The objective of this paper is to identify and discuss major characteristics of creative cost reduction strategies from best practice cases of Constructing Excellence.

건설사업의 원가절감은 사용자 요구에 부합되는 기능과 품질을 확보하면서 가장 경제적인 방법으로 시설물을 구축하는 것으로 건설환경 변화에 따른 경쟁력 향상을 위해서는 체계적인 원가관리를 통한 원가절감이 필요하다. 국토교통부 소속 산하기관에서는 공공건설사업의 수행에 따라 설계의 경제성 등 검토, 공정관리 및 사업관리 등을 통해 공사비 절감에 대한 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 현재 설계단계에서 설계VE 결과정보는 공공발주기관 간에 상호 공유하고 있으나, 시공단계에서의 원가절감사례 정보에 대한 공유는 아직까지 부족한 실정이다. 공공건설사업의 수행시 유사 건설사업에 대한 원가절감사례 정보를 참조 활용할 수 있도록 단계별 정보시스템 구축 및 원가절감 사례 정보서비스 방안을 제시하였다. 향후 공공건설사업의 기획, 설계, 시공, 유지관리 등 생애주기별 원가절감사례 정보의 분석 및 서비스를 통해 보다 합리적인 의사결정과 공공건설사업의 투자 효율성을 제고할 수 있으리라 기대된다.

최근, 가상건설기법 혹은 BIM 도입에 의한 원가절감을 실현하기 위한 노력이 대형 시공사를 중심으로 다양한 분야에 시험 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 가상건설 기법에 의한 토목 프로젝트의 적용사례를 분석하고 그에 따른 원가절감 방안을 분석하여, 향후 적용방향성 및 절차를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 최근에 실제 수행된 토목분야의 가상건설기법 적용 결과를 분석하고 그에 따른 원가측면의 절감효과를 분야별로 평가하였다. 또한 이러한 평가결과를 바탕으로 보다 실질적이고 효과적인 원가절감 결과를 얻기 위해 발주처와 시공사의 단계별 가상건설기법 적용절차를 제시하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 자속집중 방식의 회전자 구조를 적용한 페라이트 영구자석 BLDC 모터의 원가절감 설계에 대하여 연구하였다. 자속집중형 회전자에 Al-wire가 적용된 신규 모터를 이용하여 Cu-wire가 사용된 표면부착형 모터와 동일 외경, 동등 이상 효율, 동등 이하 적층에서 원가절감 하였다.

Our nation's housing construction is given much weight over 32% in 2007 and especially apartment is taking over 67%. If we put into construction environment consideration, we are having a trouble with price cap policy and the realestate recession due to the global economic crisis. So in order to get competitive power and supply of cheap apartment, the necessity of cost saving is increasing. This research collected the past constructed apartment project's cost saving examples which were influencing on the construction cost, quality and time. We analyzed collected cost saving datum and assorted these in compliance with classification system. By analysis of correlation among datum with exclusion and integration, we make a propose cost saving Checklist that will be a base data to give a chance to use in working level and other research.

Domestic construction firms make every effort to save cost and, contrarily, enhance quality for competitive advantage in the market. Structural work of building construction takes chaise of the total cost and schedule, thus elaborate planning and management of the work help to lead the project into a successful way. Therefore, the idea to save time and cost and enhance constructability securing quality and safety of the work should be developed after analyzing the designed documents and site conditions comprehensively in the initial construction planning phase. Value Engineering (VE) technique is introduced in the substructural work in this paper to save cost creatively and systematically in the design and construction phase. A practical VE model that is applied to the underground building work systematically is proposed to save cost and it applies to the actual project to confirm the effectiveness of the model.

본 연구는 최고경영자의 품질비용에 관한 리더십이 기업의 품질비용에 관련된 활동에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 기업의 품질비용관련 활동이 생산성향상(원가절감)에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 분석의 결과에 의하면 품질비용에 관한 최고경영자의 리더십이 품질비용 관련 활동을 경유하여 생산성 향상에 긍정적 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 이 연구는 생산성향상을 통하여 원가를 절감하기 위해서는 품질비용에 대한 최고경영자의 관심도가 매우 중요함을 보여주고 있다.

In order that a company may reduce expense, according to companies' income statement, the largest amount of money is set to total sales amount, and the next is the sales cost. The method of reducing the sales cost is the common and it is important to take down a unit price at the time of purchase, or to reduce inventory cost. In this research, the cost reduction model for logistics cost reduction is built using the real data of P company, and in order to verify the validity of a model, logistics cost is calculated through a simulation. A real logistics cost is compared with the logistics cost through logistics route rearrange of the proposal model. It will become an opportunity which analyzes the logistics expense of P company through this research, and can be solved in search of the problem of logistics system.

활동기준원가의 개념을 적용하여 Co2 절감대책을 수립한다. 물질흐름원가계산(MFCA; Material Flow Costing Accounting)을 통해 물질의 흐름을 파악하고 Co2 등의 절감을 원가로 측정하고 관리하고자 한다. MFCA(물질흐름원가계산)를 이용하여 에너지 사용량에 대한 단위시간당 가공비 계산하면 원가관리를 정확하게 할 수 있다. 그리고 구체적인 공급체인별 에너지 사용량 및 온실가스 배출량에 대한 개선 목표를 설정할 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 기법을 이용하면 프로세스별 원가계산이 가능하고, 다양한 시나리오를 편리하고 신속하게 분석할 수 있다.

현재 부품 국산화 조달계약제도는 비용보상형 계약제도로서 업체의 국산화에 대한 유인책이 별로 없으며, 수입부품을 국산화하여 원가절감을 하여도 이득이 없는 경우도 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 국산화를 촉진시키기 위해서는 국산화하면 할수록 이윤이 커지는 원가절감 보상형 계약제도를 적극 활용하며, 국산화한 경우에는 개발부품에 대한 품질인증, 행정소요시간 단축 등 조달여건을 개선하고, 개발에 따른 인센티브를 높여 주어야 한다.
