  • Background: Exercise influences the generation of brain cells through learning and experience in the process of acquiring motor skills and helps improve brain function. It is necessary to scientifically verify how brain wave activity, a method of analyzing brain function, affects movement. Purposes: We scientifically identify the positive effects on EEG activity when applying complex functional linear ladder movements in an appropriate environment. Methods: After recruiting 30 male university students, we divided them into a linear ladder exercise group, a treadmill exercise group, and a control group, and exercise was applied and measured repeatedly for ten weeks. Results: There was a statistically significant change between groups in the left prefrontal lobe of alpha waves when exercise was applied (p < .05). Conclusions: Although exercise has a positive effect on EEG, line ladder exercise, which applies a complex pattern and produces more leg movement, appears to have a better impact on brain function than traditional aerobic exercise.

  • Exercise is necessary for a healthy life, but it is recommended that it be conducted in a non-face-to-face environment in the context of an epidemic such as COVID-19. However, in the existing non-face-to-face exercise content, it is possible to recognize exercise movements, but the process of interpreting and providing feedback information is not automated. Therefore, in this paper, to solve this problem, we propose a method of creating a formalized rule to track the contents of exercise and the motions that constitute it. To make such a rule, first make a rule for the overall exercise content, and then create a tracking rule for the motions that make up the exercise. A motion tracking rule can be created by dividing the motion into steps and defining a key frame pose that divides the steps, and creating a transition rule between states and states represented by the key frame poses. The rules created in this way are premised on the use of posture and motion recognition technology using motion capture equipment, and are used for logical development for automation of application of these technologies. By using the rules proposed in this paper, not only recognizing the motions appearing in the exercise process, but also automating the interpretation of the entire motion process, making it possible to produce more advanced contents such as an artificial intelligence training system. Accordingly, the quality of feedback on the exercise process can be improved.

  • The purpose of this study was myokine product and role with physical activity and literature review. There is accumulating epidemiological evidence that a physically active life plays an independent role in the protection against type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, colon cancer, dementia and even depression. And myokine has been regarded an important factor of exercise training and brain growth factor for the prevention of Alzheimier's disease. During exercise the release of anti-inflammatory myokine from contracting muscle controled the metabolic response, and IL-4, IL-6, IL-7, IL-10, and IL-15 controled muscle hypertrophy, myogenesis and angiogenenesis. IL-6 promoted the lipid metabolism through AMPK activation. IL-1Ra, IL-10 and sTNF-R inhibited $TNF-{\alpha}$ as the pro-inflammatory cytokine. IL-15 increased the releasing volume from contracting muscle, and promoted the anabolic factor of muscle growth. IL-7 and IL-8 activated the angiogenesis through the more activation of C-X-C receptor signal transmission.

  • Tectonic movements in the Mesozoic were significant events to structural evolution in East China, so far as to West Pacific area. Typical Mesozoic structures were formed and outcropped in Yanshanian mountain area in which Yanshanian movement was named. It is generally considered that the most of outcropping structures in this area were formed in Yanshanian movement. But general studies indicated recently that more than half of the folds were formed in Yanshanian movement. But general studies indicated recently that more than half of the folds were formed and most of fault were in great reverse activity during Indosinian movement in Late-Triassic epoch. The tectonic dynamics setting of Indosinian move ment is a N-S compressive stress system originated by northward movement of Sino-Korean massif and its collison with Xingan-Mongolia fold zone. A series of closed folds (nearly E-W axial trace)and some overturned folds were formed in Indosinian movement and incoaxially superposed by Yanshanian deformation, Faulting characteristcs in the area were thrust faulting caused by compressive stress in Indosinian movement, some of which appear to be positive structural inversion, and oblique-thrust caused by compressive-shear in Yanshanian movement.

  • This paper addresses a method of enabling objects in an image to have apparent 3D motion. Many researchers have solved this issue by reconstructing 3D model from several images using image-based modeling techniques, or building a cube-modeled scene from camera calibration using vanishing points. This paper, however, presents the possibility of image-based motion without exact 3D information of scene geometry and camera calibration. The proposed system considers the image plane as a projective plane with respect to a view point and models a 2D frame of a projected 3D object using only lines and points. And a modeled frame refers to its vanishing points as local coordinates when it is transformed.

  • Sign languages, commonly used in aurally challenged communities, are a kind of visual language expressing sign words with motion. Spatiality and motility of a sign language are conveyed mainly via sign words as predicates. A predicate is modified by an adverbial phrase with an accompanying change in its semantics so that the adverbial phrase can also affect the overall spatiality and motility of expressions of a sign language. In this paper, we analyze the semantic features of adverbial phrases which may affect the motion-related semantics of a predicate in converting expressions in Korean into those in a sign language and propose a system that generates corresponding animation by utilizing these features.

  • Contrast to the 6-DOF nonlinear dynamic modeling of nonlinear tracking problem, 3-DOF point-mass modeling of flight mechanics is efficient and adequate for applying the trajectory optimization problem. There exist limitations to apply an optimal trajectory from point-mass modeling as a reference trajectory directly to conduct the nonlinear tracking control, In this paper, new matching trajectory optimization scheme is proposed to compensate those differences of mismatching. To verify performance of proposed method, full ascent three-dimensional flight trajectories are obtained by reflecting the real constraints of flight conditions and airship performance with and without jet stream condition. Then, they are compared with the optimal trajectories obtained from conventional method.

  • The kinematic synthesis deals with the systematic design of mechanisms for a given performance. The area of synthesis may be grouped into two categories to determine the type and to size the dimensions of a mechanism for a specified task. In this paper, using a database of mechanisms a designer can determine the type of mechanism conveniently and design equations are automatically generated for a given input performance. The solving method of design equations utilizes an optimization routine to obtain roots effectively. The linkages of 4, 6, and 8bars with revolute joints are considered in this study but may be extended to linkages of more bars.

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of resistance exercise(RE) on beta-amyloid(Aβ) metabolism, neuronal cell death, and cognitive function in the transgenic mice model of Alzheimer's disease(AD). Fourteen transgenic(tg) mice and fourteen non-transgenic(non-tg) mice were divided into four groups: (1)non-tg-control(NTC, n=7) (2)non-tg-RE(NTRE, n=7) (3)tg-control(TC, n=7), and (4)tg-RE(TRE, n=7). The groups with RE were performed to progressive RE on ladder equipment for 8 weeks. The groups with RE were performed to progressive RE on ladder equipment for 8 weeks. After then, the cognitive function was measured by using the water maze test, and Aβ metabolism-related proteins, neuronal cell death, and SIRT1/PGC-1α pathway were also measured. Here, we found escape latency and time were significantly increased in the TC compared to the NTC group, but it was significantly reduced in the TRE group, indicating RE may ameliorate cognitive dysfunction. Next, we found an increased in Aβ protein of TC compared to NTC, but it was significantly reduced in the TRE group following RE. In neuronal cell death, Bcl-2 was also significantly decreased and Bax was significantly increased in the TC compared to the NTC group, but RE can increase Bcl-2 and reduce Bax, which may elevate the ratio of Bcl-2/Bax. We further found a decrease in the level of ADAM10 and RARβ protein was significantly increased whereas increased in ROCK1 and BACE1 expression level was significantly reduced following RE in the TRE compared to the TC group. In addition, the level of SIRT1/PGC-1α proteins was decreased in the TC group compared to NTC group, but, these markers were significantly increased in the TRE group following RE. Therefore, our finding indicated that RE may ameliorate cognitive deficits by reducing Aβ protein and neuronal cell death via regulating SIRT1/PGC-1α, amyloidogenic pathway, and non-amyloidogenic pathway, which may play a role in an effective strategy for AD.
