Asian Dust Events in Korea (우리나라 황사의 역사)

  • 황사는 중국과 몽골의 건조지역으로부터 바람에 의해 수송되어 날아오는 먼지 현상이다. 이 먼지현상은 이따금 멀리 북미대륙까지(Husar 등, 2001) 이동한 것이 위성영상으로 확인되며, 캐나다(McKendry 등, 2001)에서도 실제 관측되기도 한다. 요즘에는 이 먼지가 인체와 기후에 미치는 염려를 하는 사람이 많아지며, 이를 예측하는 연구가 시도되기도 한다. 우리나라에서 과거에 기록된 황사현상은 있을까? 있다면, 얼마나 되며, 최근과 비교하면 무엇이 다른가? 삼국시대의 역사 기록인 삼국사기와 고려시대의 고려사, 조선시대의 조선왕조실록과 증보문헌비고 속에 기록된 지난 약 2천년간의 기록을 정리해보았다. 또한 기존의 와다유우지(Wada, 1917)와 다무라센노스케(Tamura, 1983)의 조사결과도 참고하여, 우리나라에서의 관측된 황사기록을 가능한 많이 찾고, 확인하여, 과거 우리나라의 황사현상을 되짚어 보았다.

  • 본 논문에서는 병렬처리에서 중요한 부하균형 문제에 대한 새로운 솔루션을 소개한다. 제안하는 매핑 알고리즘은 평균장 어닐링과 유전자 알고리즘을 합성한 휴리스틱 부하균형 기법이다. 합성된 알고리즘을 세 개의 다른 알고리즘들과의 성능향상비를 측정하는 성능평가 시뮬레이션을 개발하였고 솔루션 품질과 수행시간 면에서 우지의 방법은 기존의 것들 보다 개선된 실험결과를 얻었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 코로나19 뉴스와 코로나19 가짜뉴스의 데이터셋을 활용하여 입력 받은 뉴스가 가짜뉴스일 확률을 예측한다. 가짜 뉴스 본문에는 코로나19, 대통령, 정부, 가짜, 언론 등의 키워드의 빈도가 높았다. 위의 키워드를 토대로 나이브 베이즈 모델링을 하여 이를 적용해 가짜 뉴스를 가려내는 웹페이지를 개발하였다.

Isolation and Identification of Cholesterol Oxidation products in heated tallow by TLC (TLC를 이용한 가열우지중 콜레스테롤 산화생성물의 분리 및 확인)

  • The oxidative stability of cholesterol in tallow heated at different frying temperatures (130$\^{C}$, 150$\^{C}$, and 180$\^{C}$) was studied by identifying cholesterol oxides by thin layer chromatography(TLC). And fatty acid compositions in tallow heated were also measured and compared with cholesterol oxides. Unsaturated fatty acid contents slightly decreased as the heating time increased, whereas saturated fatty acid contents increased This phenomenon became excessive especially by heating to higher temperature. It was found that RF value and spot color of the nonsaponifiable lipids from tallow heated on TLC analysis accorded with the synthetic cholesterol oxides in this experiment. Four kinds of cholesterol oxides were detected in tallow heated for 24 hours at three different temperatures. The oxides were identified as 7-$\alpha$-hydroxycholesterol, 7-$\beta$-hydroxycholesterol, 7-ketocholesterol and cholesterol epoxide. It was found that there was a little difference in oxidative pattern of cholesterol between several heating temperatures.

Effect of Dietary Calcium, Casein and Suet on Intestinal Absorption of Cadmium in Mice (생쥐에 있어서 카세인, 칼슘 및 우지가 카드뮴의 장흡수에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to clarify the effect of dietary calcium, casein and suet on intestinal absorption of cadmium in mice. It was performed for 30 days, from April 11, to May 10, 1988. Ninety mice were devided into 4 experimental groups and control group with 6 mice each dietary group, and measured survival ratio, body weight and weight ratio of organ to body. The contents of cadmium in liver, kidney, spleen, muscle and skin with hair, and feces were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometer after sacrifice by anesthesia. The ratio of survival after 30 day breeding was $100\%$ in control group, but $66.7\%$ in group IV(basal diet + Cd + Ca) with $100{\mu}g$ one dose and with 50ppm cadmium containing fluid free-intake, and group V (basal diet + Cd + suet) with free-intake of 50ppm containing cadmium fluid. The ratio of body weight gains in cases of single dose $100{\mu}g$ of cadmium was highest as $42.3\%$ in group IV and lowest as $26.0\%$ in group V, in cases of free-intake of 50ppm containing cadmium fluid was highest as $24.0\%$ in group IV and lowest as $11.6\%$ in group II (basal diet + Cd). The body weight, in the case of single dose of $100{\mu}g$ of cadmium showed no increase untill 5th day from acute poisoning. While in case of free-intake of 50ppm containing cadmium, it showed very slight increase through all breeding period. The weight ratio of organ to body were lowest in liver of group II in both occasions. The most of cadmium administered was excreated in feces within 2 days after single dose $100{\mu}g$ cadmium. The contents of cadmium in all tissues were significantly high in each group comparing to control group as liver, kidney, spleen and muscle of group II which showed the highest level in both occasions of $100{\mu}g$ one dose and free-intake of 50ppm containing cadmium fluid, and higher in group II of the occasion with $100{\mu}g$ single dose, and in group V of the occasion of 50ppm containing cadmium fluid free-inatke for skin with hair. And the content of cadmium in tissues is generally higher in the occasion of 50ppm containing cadmium free-intake than $100{\mu}g$ single dose. From the above results I conclude that the addition of casein, calcium and suet in cadmium containing diet is effective to inhibtion of intestinal absorption of cadmium by particularly, calcium.

A Study on the Effects of Dietary Fat Sources on the Plasma and Liver Cholesterol Levels in Young Chicks (지방공급원이 병아리의 혈액 및 간 Cholesterol 함량에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was designed to investigate the effects of various sources of dietary fats on the blood and liver cholesterol(CHOL) levels in young Single Comb White Leghorn male chicks, In experiment 1, corn oil, palm gil, tallow and fish oil were added individually at a level of 4% to semipurified type diets composed of isolated soyprotein and glucose as major components. The diets were fed ad libitum for a period of 15 days. In experiment 2, various fats such as corn oil, soybean oil, repeseed oil, palm oil, tallow, fish oil and hydrogenated fish oil(HFO) were added individually at a level of 11.4% to practical type diets primarily based on corn and soybean meal. Control diet contained 3% of corn oil. All these diets were formulated to contain equivalent amount of nutrients such as protein, vitamins and minerals on a basis of unit kcal of metabolizable energy. The third Experiment was to compare the effects of different levels of calorie/protein(C/P ratio) of diets on the performances and various biological parameters in the chicks. Control diet was the same as in experiment 2. Another diet was added with 11.14% corn oil(C/P ratio=146) and the other diet with 10% corn oil(C/P ratio=164), The diets in experiment 2 and 3 were fed ad libitum for 26 days. In the first experiment, the chicks fed the diet containing vegetable oils tended to grow faster and show better feed efficiency without significance than those fed diets added with animal fats. However, this tendency was not observed in the experiment 2. Birds consumed the diets added with fish oil appeared to have heavier liver weight and higher liver CHOL than the others(p〈0.05), No significant differences in the levels of blood CHOL and triacylglycerol(TG) were observed among the chicks of various dietary groups(Exp. 1). Weights of liver or heart were significantly heavier in the chicks consumed the diets added with HFO or fish oil, respectively(Exp. 2). However, chicks ingested diet containing fish oil appeared to have significantly lower plasma CHOL. No significant differences were observed in the levels of liver CHOL and plasma TG among the dietary groups. Birds consumed the diet with a wider C/P ratio resulted in higher liver TG levels in experiment 3(p〈0.05). Although no statistical differences were observed among the various dietary groups, chicks fed the diet with a wider C/P ratio tended to show higher levels of plasma CHOL, TG, liver CHOL and total liver lipids compared to those of the control group.

  • 전기수력학적 분무를 이용한 액적 미립화 기술은 나노사이즈의 액적 형성, 쿨롱 반발력에 의한 균일한 액적 형성, 그리고 향상된 액적 타겟팅을 가능하게 한다. 따라서 이를 이용하여 매우 균일한 박막 코팅이 가능하다. 이러한 점에 힘입어 현재 진공 공정으로 제작되고 있는 CIGS태양전지의 광흡수층을 비진공 공정중 하나인 전기수력학적 미립화를 이용하여 실험하였다. Ethanol-based 의 CIGS나노 입자를 포함하는 콜로이드 상태의 전구체를 이용하여 적절히 가열된 몰리브덴 배면 전극위에 적용하였다. 미립화한 액적은 접지된 몰리브덴 층에 부착되는 즉시 증발하여 CIGS입자를 남긴다. 여기서 가장 중요하게 다루어야 할 조건은 기판의 온도, 인가 전압, 전구체의 유량이다. 분사 모드는 Cone-jet을 적용하였으며 5~15kV의 인가 전압에서 1ml/hr내외의 유량을 공급하여 3분 이내에 적절한 광흡수층 두께인 1마이크론 내외에 도달할 수 있다. 이와같은 조건으로 형성된 박막층에 관한 SEM image를 통해 다른 비진공 코팅 방식과 비교하였다.

Characteristics of Sunroot (Helianthus tuberosus) Fermentation with boundary condition (발효조건에 따른 돼지감자의 발효시스템)

  • In this study, Sunroot was used as material in the fermentation process. Sunroot are widely distributed in Korea, The main component is composed of inulin. Fermented vinegar stimulates digestion in the body, as well as to relieve stress is a cause of increasing the neurotransmitter-Serotonin of the body. Therefore, we conducted fermentation studies using sunroot. This research conducted seven days, and the pH and brix value analysis was done every 12 hours during fermentation process. The experimental results show that the fermentation product under blender treatment is better than cutting treatment and without cutting treatment. Initial brix 25% is the best treatment for fermentation because produce fermentation product with a good taste and aroma than other treatment.

A Control for Obstacle Avoidance with Steering and Velocity of a Vehicle Using Fuzzy (퍼지를 이용한 Vehicle의 조향각 및 속력을 고려한 충돌회피 제어)

  • In this paper, we present an ultrasonic sensor based path planning method using fuzzy logic for obstacle avoidance of an intelligent vehicle in unknown environments. Generally, Robot navigation in unknown terrains is a very complex task difficult to control because of the great amount of imprecise and ambiguous sensor information that has to be considered. In this case, fuzzy logic can satisfactorily deal with such information in quite efficient manner. In this study, we propose two fuzzy logic controller which is composed of steering controller and velocity controller respectively. Our object is to develop a fuzzy controller that can enable a mobile robot to navigate from a start point to a goal point without collisions, in the least possible travel time. The ability and effectiveness for the proposed algorithm will be demonstrated by simulation and expeiment.
