최근 정보기술의 발전으로 책자 형태의 건설용어사전 보다는 인터넷을 통한 다양한 건설용어사전이 제공되어 있으며, 특히 정부기관을 비롯하여 건설관련 학회 및 협회, 건설관련 포탈 및 정보시스템 등에서 자체적인 건설용어사전을 개발하여 제공하고 있다. 이처럼 건설분야에서 활용되고 있는 건설용어 사전은 다양하게 서비스 되고 있으나, 아직까지 건설용어에 관한 표준 체계가 정립되지 않아, 건설용어사전에서 정의하고 있는 건설용어가 서로 상이하며 현업에서는 아직도 관행처럼 외래어를 사용함에 따라 건설공사 수행시 참여주체 간에 의사소통의 저해 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내외 건설용어사전의 유형을 살펴보고, 건설용어 표준 활동 사례의 분석을 통해 국내 실정에 적합한 건설용어사전 서비스 체계 구축을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

To improve the efficiency of business, it is important to standardize the meaning of terminology. And then, terminology dictionaries have been actively being built and used in various fields. In defense area, the publication of defense terminology dictionary is useful for information exchange of each army and distribution of standardized terminology. Defense agency for technology and quality(DTaQ) publishes terminology dictionary of defense science and technology on a three-year cycle. DTaQ tries to standardize the construction process of terminology dictionary and improve service efficiency by using terminology dictionary in defense area. This proposed method is based on the result of previous study about standardization of terminology dictionary. We suggest the practical steps including terminology dictionary constructing process, composition and role of organization, definition of headword, selection of target documents to be extracted terminology candidate, terminology extraction, generation of terminology candidate group, workbench registration, construction and validation of terminology dictionary. Thesaurus and workbench are developed to use and support terminology dictionary effectively.

지난 호에서도 언급한 바와 같이 컴퓨터용어는 아직 순화단계에 있어 남한에서도 통일된 것이 없고, 같은 영어 낱말을 여러 가지로 사용하는 경우가 많다. 예로 「interrupt」를 정익사판 컴퓨터용어사전에는 「인터럽트」로 영어발음을 그대로 우리말로 표기한 반면, 다른 용어사전에서는 「가로채기」, 「개입중단」등으로 되어 있다. 현재 남한에서 발간 된 컴퓨터용어 관련자료로는 크라운사, 교학사, 대은사 및 정익사 발행의 컴퓨터용어사전과 하이텔 이용자 모임순화안, 서울대 뉴미디어통신공동연구소 HDTV용어사전, 한국과학기술원 인공지능연구센터안, 교육부 편수자료 등이 있고 1993년 1월에 발간된 문화체육부의 전산기 기본용어 순화시안이 최신 것이라 하겠다. 이곳에서는 주로 1990년 정익사에서 출판한 한국정보과학회편 「컴퓨터용어사전」과 1986년 북한의 과학, 백과사전 출판사에서 발간한 전웅편저「전자계산기프로그람용어사전」을 참조하여 비교하였고, 참고로 문화체육부에서 내어놓은 순화시안도 함께 병기하였다. 지면상 모든 용어를 비교한다는 것은 불가능하여 남한과 북한에서 서로 다르게 부르는 용어 중 일부분만을 다음 표에 나열한다.

우리나라에서 학문분야별로 출판된 전문용어사전의 표제어 기술형식은 매우 상이하다. 이러한 특징은 여러 분야의 전문용어사전을 참조해야 하는 이용자에게 많은 불편을 초래할 뿐만 아니라 표준화된 전자사전에 대한 요구를 충족시키지도 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 전자사전 표준화의 일환인 전문용어사전의 표제어 기술형식 표준화를 위한 기초작업의 일부로서 현재까지 우리나라기서 출판된 전문 용어사전을 대상으로 표제어의 기술형식에 대하여 기술요소, 기술요소의 순서, 띄어쓰기, 다의성을 갖는 용어의 구분, 배열 등에 대하여 조사 분석하였다.

As technical intellectual work now has become prolific and various, rapid evolution of technical terms needs to collect and manage them systematically and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to suggest the microstructure for systematic definitions of definiendum in terminological dictionaries. This study reveals specific properties or differences of terminography on the basis of terminology and lexicography, analyzes problems of microstructure in a current terminological dictionary, and, based upon the theoretical and practical analysis, attempts to derive structural and methodical suggestions for microstructure of terminological dictionaries.

국방분야에서는 국방용어 사전 발간을 통해 각군의 효율적인 업무 연계 및 표준화된 국방 용어 유통 체계를 정립하는데 노력하고 있다. 국방기술품질원에서도 국방 과학기술 분야의 전문용어 사전 발간을 통해 각군의 과학기술 용어를 표준화함으로써 업무 연계 및 효율성 제고에 노력하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전문용어 사전 구축 표준화 프로세스를 준용해서 국방 과학기술 전문용어 사전의 후보 용어 선정부터 정제, 시소러스 구축, 검수에 이르는 전주기 과정에 대한 실제 구축 내용을 기술하고 있다. 또한 전문용어 사전의 효율적 구축 및 관리를 위해 개발된 워크벤치의 기능을 중심으로 용어 선정, 정보 입력, 관리 기능을 기술하고 한다.

전문용어는 특정 분야의 문서들에서 그 분야 특징을 반영하는 용어를 지칭하는 말로 최근 이러한 전문용어를 자동으로 인식하는 연구들이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전문용어 인식의 방법 중 규칙 기반 방법의 한 종류인 사전 기반 방법을 이용하여 전문용어를 인식한다. 사전 기반 방법의 보통 다음과 같은 문제점이 있다. 첫째 같은 의미를 가지지만 형태가 다른 전문용어의 인식이 어려우며, 둘째 정확한 경계를 인식하기 위해서는 모든 단어에 대해 사전에 존재하는 가장 긴 단어의 크기만큼 매칭을 시도해야하며, 셋째 인식된 경계가 겹칠 수 있다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 사전 매칭시 정규표현을 이용하여 첫 번째 문제를 해결하며, 트라이를 이용하여 사전을 구축하고, 매칭시 스택을 이용한 병렬구조를 사용하여 두 번째 문제를 해결하였으며, 구간트리라는 자료구조를 이용하여 세 번째 문제를 해결하였다.

Collecting terms in thesaurus construction work is the most difficult. A dictionary is thesaurus can be used as an excellent term acquisition. Reflect faithfully the provisions of Korean literary "Standard Korean Dictionary" is a standard dictionary of the Korea. The "Standard Korean Dictionary" is simply the definition of entry, as well as a wide range of information about the term because it contains a systematic, it can be used to build a thesaurus. In this study, the "Standard Korean Dictionary" has the relevant information using a variety of terms, it is defined as the thesaurus term relationship. In addition, the separation of the term, equal relationships and hierarchical set of relationships, the use of qualifiers, North Korean issues, the issue presented in thesaurus construction, and suggest ways to solve the problem.

본 연구는 법률명 용어의 의미적 성분분석을 통해 '보충적 관계속성'을 도출하고, 이를 구조적 용어사전의 관계속성 설정에 적용하였을 때 용어관계에 나타나는 효과를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. '보충적 관계속성'이란 클래스(범주)별 용어들이 가지는 특징에 기반하여 만든 관계속성을 말하며, 용어사전 구축 시 도출한 관계속성을 반영함으로서 용어 간 관계가 유기적이고 명확하게 표현될 수 있도록 하는 보조적 구축지침의 역할을 하도록 한다. 이를 위해 법원도서관 '법률용어 관련어집의 316개 용어쌍을 분석하여 '보충적 관계속성'을 도출하였으며, 구조적 용어사전 용어에 적용하여 밀도 값과 밀도의 정도를 시각화하여 효과를 확인하였다. 그 결과, '보충적 관계속성' 전, 후의 변화는 적었으나 이는 법률명 용어의 특징으로 인한 결과라는 것을 알 수 있었고, '보충적 관계속성' 반영의 명확한 효과 확인을 위해서는 분석대상용어를 법률명에서 법률관련용어로 확장시켜 연구할 필요성을 확인하였다.
