일반적인 히스토그램 기법은 용선과 골로 이뤄진 지문 영상을 개선하는 효과가 미미하다. 히스토그램 스트레칭 기법은 명암 분포를 확장하여 전체 영상의 명암을 확장시키며, 히스토그램 스트레칭은 국소적인 명암 개선 효과에 탁월하므로 지문 영상 개선에 적합하지 않다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 지문 영상을 개선하기 위해 평균과 표준 편차를 이용한 방법을 제안한다.

해상의 신속성능해석은 경제적인 측면에서나 기술적인 측면에서 반드시 필요하다는 것은 주지의 사실이라 하겠다. 이를테면 (1)시운전결과해석법의 개선, (2)Service Power Marhin 산정법의 개선, (3)연료경제성이 고려된 최적속력산정, (4)실선-모형선 상관수정값 개선, (5)고성능선박을 위한 통합설계법의 개선, (6)미래선박의 설계자료 수집, (7)용선계약과 관련된 문제점 해소등 수 많은 예를 찾을 수 있다.'1' 상기에 예시된 목적들의 달성을 위하여서는 이론적인연구 이외에 선 속의 체계적인 mNOITORING이 추천되고 있다. 효율적인 Monitoring system을 문헌'2,3,4'에서 예를 찾을 수 있다.

제철기술은 고순도, 친환경화와 더불어 공정능력 및 제조원가를 고려한 최적의 공정개발이 요구되고 있다. 전로조업의 전 공정인 용선예비처리 단계에서 탈황처리가 실시된다. 탈황제로 CaO와 $CaCO_3$에 반응촉진제로 형석이 첨가되어 사용되지만, 슬래그 중 불소농도의 규제로 인하여 사용이 제한되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 형석을 대체하기 위해 CaO에 알루미늄 드로스와 알루미나를 함유한 래들 슬래그를 배합하여 첨가하는 방안을 제시하였다. 알루미늄 드로스와 알루미나 함유 래들 슬래그를 CaO에 배합하여 제조한 탈황제의 온도에 따른 물성과 KR(Kanvara Reactor)에서 탈황능을 비교하는 시험을 하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 탈황제는 형석을 기반으로 제조한 종전의 탈황제와 탈황능이 동일하였다.

On 2013 the English court delivered a decision that the payment obligation under time charter party is a condition. According to this judgement, The Astra, a breach of the obligation to pay hire on time entitles the owner both to withdraw the ship and sue the charterers for damages for the difference between the contract and market rate for the remainder of the contracted period. On 2015, however, the English court stood at the other side. In Spar Shipping, the court confirmed that the obligation to pay hire is not a condition of the contract but an "innominate term" - from the charterers' breach ship owners can exercise their contractual right to withdraw, but owners' right to sue for damages depends on whether the charterers have deprived the owners of the substantial benefit of the contract, or shown an intention to do so. This article aims to compare both decisions over the points that (1) the importance of on-time payment under a time charter party, (2) as a critical and main question in this article, whether the mattered payment clause is a condition or innominate term, (3) whether the on-time payment clause is merely a penalty or a reasonable liquidated damage. Based on various reasons, I am on a position that the payment of hire is not a condition but an innominate term. Default in punctual payment by a charterer, in the absent of clear contractual agreement, needs to be decided further whether that breach removes the substantial benefit of the contract from the owners.

우리나라 현대 글로비스사는 스웨덴의 Stena 해운사 소속인 M/T Stena Polaris호를 용선하여 화물(납사, 43,838톤)을 싣고 2013년 9월 15일 러시아 Ust Luga항을 출항하여 약 8,100마일 북극해 항로(North Sea Route)를 통하여 10월 17일경 여수 사포 1부두에 입항할 예정이다. 이는 금년 5월 15일 "북극해 이사회"의 영구옵서버 자격을 취득과 더블어 새로운 물류 시대의 개막이라고 할 수 있겠다. 이런 시점에서 한국해양수산연수원은 국내 Ice Navigator 교육시장 선점과 세계적 교육기관으로 도약을 하기 위하여 교육과정을 개설준비 하고 있으며, 금번 시범운항 행사를 위하여 방문한 9월 13일 Ice Navigation Training 교육과정이 이미 개설되어 있는 Russia Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy측 총장 및 관계자와 Russia교수진의 협력 및 NSR 통과 선박의 승선실습을 요청하였으며, 교육인증을 위한 협력도 추진하기로 하였다. 따라서 현재 북극해 항로현황과 Ice Navigator교육과정 개발에 대하여 검토해 보고자 한다.

Sapphire fiber has been used to provide an optical path for the total radiation pyrometry. In measuring the temperature, we use the two-color detector, which consists of a high-performance Silicon detector mounted in a "sandwich" configuration over a Germanium detector. Sapphire fiber can withstand high temperature in the molten steel for two and a half hours. The maximum value of the error is the $\pm$2.5$^{\circ}C$ in the range of 152$0^{\circ}C$~1$600^{\circ}C$. This paper presents the simple scheme for measuring the molten steel temperature in the blast furnace of the iron ＆ steel making process.g process.

As there is a growing trend to make high quality steel improving production efficiency and utilizing slag as resources the technologies of hot metal pretreatment have been progressed to meet these demands. Although mill scale $Na_2CO_3$ and CaO used as fluxes proved to be excellent agents then can severely corrode refractories such as chamotte and high alumina for torpedo or open ladle car. Thus it was considered necessary to develop new refractories which can endure suchy conditions. Desulfurization fluxes vastly used in POSCO are $CaCO_3$ and CaO Recent trials have been made by testing phenol resin bonded $Al_2O_3-SiC-C$ bricks in torpedo ladle car for hot metal pretreatment. The results showed that the life of this brick became about 1.2 times longer than that of foreign products. And the crushing strength M.O.R corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance were tested.

지속가능한 경영을 위해 온실가스 저감과 에너지 효율의 개선은 해운사에서 매우 중요한 추진과제중의 하나이다. 또한 연료유 가격의 변동은 운영비에 많은 부분을 차지하기 때문에 비용 경쟁력 확보에 필수적인 요소이다. 일부 실시간 모니터링이 가능한 장비를 장착한 선박이 있으나 용선을 포함한 대부분의 선박은 공통적으로 정오보고를 통해 선박의 운항성능을 파악하는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 데이터 수집환경을 기반으로 실무에서 적용중인 선박의 에너지 효율성을 평가하는 방법에 대해서 소개····(중략)····.
