Nowadays, GPS-photogrammetry can be applied to the basemap production, a land register and NGIS. And from now on, as the increase of GPS receiver rate, the study on the interpolation methods considering the exact movement of an aircraft at photoflight and the study on the supplement of GPS defect by INS are required continuously. GPS-Photogrammetry, which are based on the direct measurement of the projection centers and attitude at the moment of camera exposure time through loading the GPS receiver in aircraft. This photogrammetric methods can of for us to acquire the exterior orientation parameters with only minimum ground control points, even the ground control process could be completely skipped. Consequently, we can drastically reduce the time and cost far the mapping process. In this thesis, two test flights were conducted in area to evaluate the performance of accuracy and efficiency through the analysis of results between the two photogrammetric methods, that is, traditional photograrammetry, GPS-Photogrammetry. Test results shows that a large variety of advantages of GPS-Photogrammetry against traditional photogrammetry is to be verified. Especially, the number of ground control points for the exterior orientation could be saved more than 70~80%, and the cost far map production 30~50%, respectively. In addition, it was convinced that the large reduction of control points has not any effect on the block accuracy.

X-ray images are wildly used in medical applications, and these can be more efficiently find scoliosis which is appearing during the growth of human skeleton than others. This research is focused on the calibration of X-ray image and three-dimensional coordinate determination of objects. Three-dimensional coordinate of objects taken by X-ray are determined by two step procedure. Firstly, interior and exterior orientation parameters are determined by camera calibration using Primary Calibration Object (PCO) which has two sides with embedded radiopaque steel ball. Secondly, calibration cage coordinates which is composed of two acrylic sheets that are perpendicular to X-ray source are determined by the parameters. Three-dimensional coordinates of calibration cage determined by photogrammetric technique are compared with that of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Though the accuracy analysis, X direction which is parallel to X-ray source error values are relatively higher than those of Y and Z directions. But, the accuracies of Y and Z axis are approximately -3 mm to 3 mm. From the research results, it is considered that photogrammetric technique is applied to determine three-dimensional coordinates of patients or assist to make medical devices.

To obtain large scale precise geographical information in local area we determined external orientation parameters of camn exactly and conducted aerial photography using remote control airship loaded 35mm non-metric camera that produced systematic error coefficients. Ground control Points were determined by differential GPS. Therefore we can try to improve accuracy and economical efficiency. Also, it is suggested that remote control airship photogrammetry can be applied to make large scale topographic map using analytical plotter as calibrated accuracy.
Recently, spillways are need to control stable water level for supporting main dams because of floods by unusual change of weather such as Typhoon Rusa. This study has been focused on the amount of leakage through the rock mass distributed fractures and joints under the opened emergency spillway. It is very important to evaluate the amount of leakage as these affect stability of spillway by interaction between effective stress and pore pressure. The commercial program MAFIC has been used for analyzing groundwater flow in fractured rock mass. The results showed that the values of range, average and deviation of leakage were 2.85∼ 3.79×10-1, 3.32×10-1 and 1.70×10-2 m3/day/m2 respectively. Secondary, we have estimated the effect of grouting after the transmissivity(Tf) of joint 1 as main pathway of leakage known from above results was changed from 1.78×10-7 to 1.59×10-9 m2/s. The results showed that the values of range, average and deviation of leakage were 7.80×10-4∼1.53×10-3, 1.18×10-3 and 1.32×10-4 m3/day/m2 respectively. As the result, the amount of leakage after grouting has been decreased by a ratio of 1 to 277.
In this study, the design of 4S-Van system is discussed fur the implementation of laser mapping system. Laser device is fast and accurate sensor that acquires 3D road and surface data. The orientation laser sensor is determined by loosely coupled (D)GPS/INS Integration. Considering current system architecture, (D)GPS/INS integration is performed far performance analysis of direct georeferencing and self-calibration is performed for interior and exterior orientation and displacement. We utilized 3 laser sensors for compensation and performance improvement. 3D surface data from laser scanner and texture image from CCD camera can be used to implement 3D visualization.

The drone photogrammetry is actively utilized for obtaining highly accurate spatial information and other various monitoring purposes. It is general to plan the drone photogrammetry by referring to previous experiences or cases in order to obtain the required accuracy, but the drone photogrammetry is often carried out again due to poor accuracy. Since the required spatial accuracy of the drone photogrammetry process result becomes the means of objective evaluation regardless of the type of result, it should be determined carefully. Therefore, it is necessary to determine flight height, overlap, number and arrangement of ground control point, and exterior orientation factor acquisition method in order to meet the required 3D positional accuracy for the design of drone photogrammetry project. In this study, previous study cases for the analysis of drone photogrammetry accuracy were carefully analyzed and verified by applying such cases to testing area, and design guideline of drone photogrammetry project for a small area was prepared based on the analysis result. The presented project design guideline is expected to be a great help to business practice although it is not perfect, and if the design guideline is prepared through comprehensive analysis in future, it would be possible to provide a perfect manual.

Accidents in which oil spills occur intermittently in the ocean due to ship collisions and sinkings. In order to prepare prompt countermeasures when such an accident occurs, it is necessary to accurately identify the current status of spilled oil. To this end, the Coast Guard patrols the target area with a fixed-wing airplane or helicopter and checks it with the naked eye or video, but it was difficult to determine the area contaminated by the spilled oil and its exact location on the map. Accordingly, this study develops a technology for direct ortho-rectification by automatically geo-referencing aerial images collected by the Coast Guard without individual ground reference points to identify the current status of spilled oil. First, meta information required for georeferencing is extracted from a visualized screen of sensor information such as video by optical character recognition (OCR). Based on the extracted information, the external orientation parameters of the image are determined. Images are individually orthorectified using the determined the external orientation parameters. The accuracy of individual orthoimages generated through this method was evaluated to be about tens of meters up to 100 m. The accuracy level was reasonably acceptable considering the inherent errors of the position and attitude sensors, the inaccuracies in the internal orientation parameters such as camera focal length, without using no ground control points. It is judged to be an appropriate level for identifying the current status of spilled oil contaminated areas in the sea. In the future, if real-time transmission of images captured during flight becomes possible, individual orthoimages can be generated in real time through the proposed individual orthorectification technology. Based on this, it can be effectively used to quickly identify the current status of spilled oil contamination and establish countermeasures.

The Aerial photographic mission is working of taking picture at appropriate point at operating aircraft. Specially, because multi-looking camera system for 3D spatial data construction don't use large size CCD camera, do use middle size or small size CCD camera, Exterior parameter can't be calculated because of not enough overlap, if taking picture at inappropriate position. Therefore, we can construct 3D spatial modeling data by taking picture at planned points using GPS Positioning information

An approach is described for automatic measuring of GCP's image coordinates from SPOT imagery and focused on the fulfillment an automatic orientation of satellite images. For the orientation of a stereopair of digital images, firstly, GCP(Ground Control Point) should be selected and then the work for measuring of image coordinates correspond to GCPs is required. In this study, we propose the method for extracting the GCP's image coordinates automatically using an image patch for control points and auxiliary points matching. For the evaluation of measurement accuracy, a comparison between points those are extracted manually and automatically by a proposed method have made. Finally, we shows the feasibility of automatic image coordinates measurment by applying in stereo modeling for SPOT images.

This study had been aimed to conduct the camera calibration on VLBI antenna in the Space Geodetic Observation Center of Sejong City with a low-cost digital camera, which embedded in a mobile phone to determine the three-dimension position coordinates of the VLBI antenna, based on stereo images. The initial values for the camera calibration have been obtained by utilizing the Direct Linear Transformation algorithm and the commercial digital photogrammetry system, PhotoModeler $Scanner^{(R)}$ ver. 6.0, respectively. The accuracy of camera calibration results was compared with that the camera calibration results, acquired by a bundle adjustment with nonlinear collinearity condition equation. Although two methods showed significant differences in the initial value, the final calibration demonstrated the consistent results whichever methods had been performed for obtaining the initial value. Furthermore, those three-dimensional coordinates of feature points of the VLBI antenna were respectively calculated using the camera calibration by the two methods to be compared with the reference coordinates obtained from a total station. In fact, both methods have resulted out a same standard deviation of $X=0.004{\pm}0.010m$, $Y=0.001{\pm}0.015m$, $Z=0.009{\pm}0.017m$, that of showing a high degree of accuracy in centimeters. From the result, we can conclude that a mobile phone camera opens up the way for a variety of image processing studies, such as 3D reconstruction from images captured.
