This study shows that one of the reasons behind the recent increase in international students at private universities in the Seoul metropolitan area is the financial conditions of universities that have deteriorated under the governmental regulation on college enrollment and tuition for domestic students. We provide a theoretical framework showing the possibility that universities try to avoid the regulation by admitting international students who are not subject to the regulation. Our empirical analysis of four-year private universities during 2008-2019 reveals that private universities in Seoul tend to increase the share of international students when the financial situation deteriorates.

For last decade, the number of foreign workers in all industries has been increased continuously. In the construction industry, the number of foreign workers has also increased as 80,000 persons in 2010. According to the increase of foreign workers at domestic construction sites, the frequency of construction disasters has increased as well. The safety education can be a effective solution to decrease the construction disaster. So, it is necessary to develop the appropriate education system for foreign workers. Therefore, the objective of this study is to propose a safety education model for foreign workers and to develop the prototype system. In a result of that, a new safety education model and prototype system was constructed based on the method of E-learning. The system can support for foreign workers in domestic construction sites to understand the safety education easily. And, it can also assist the safety manager to educate and manage the foreign workers efficiently.

Despite the increase in the number of international students residing in Korea, there is lack of research on their Everyday Information Seeking behaviors. This study investigated the information needs and information seeking behaviors of international students in Korea according to the settlement stages (before entry, initial settlement, and present) through Critical Incident Technology (CIT). International students in Korea reported their daily life-related information needs more frequently than their academic-related information needs. International students used multiple information sources for seeking information, such as websites, social media, and friends. Compared to websites, international students demonstrated higher satisfaction with interactive sources such as social media and friends. It was found that the language barrier is the biggest difficulty that international students experience during the information seeking process. Unfamiliarity with Korean society and culture were addressed as another difficulty. Based on the understanding of international students' information needs and seeking behaviors throughout the settlement stages, recommendations for helping international students search for information in their daily life were discussed.

This study is to investigate Right to Chinese Name for Foreigners under Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China. The basketball star Michael Jordan sued Qiaodan Sports in 2012, saying the company had built its business around his Chinese name read as Qiaodan in Chinese without his permission. The Chinese supreme court ruled that the trademark for Jordan's Chinese name should be returned to China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce to be re-awarded, and it means Qiaodan Sports Co. must stop using the Chinese characters for Qiaodan on its merchandise. However, the court rejected Jordan's claim to the romanized or pinyin form of the name "Qiaodan," saying in its judgment that this version may not be closely linked with him. People who want to claim the right to Chinese name, he/she must prove the specific name has linked with him/her. Furthermore, he/she must prove the Chinese firm's actions had displayed "malicious intent" by registering trademarks for his/her Chinese name. The courts approve infringement by Chinese firm and stop to use his/her name in the country.

본 논문에서는 국내 정보보호 체계를 수립하기 위하여 외국에서의 정보보호 체계분석의 일환으로 영국의 정보보호 시스템 평사승인 체계에 대하여 분석하였다. 먼저 영국에서의 정보기관 구조를 소개하고, 정보보호 체계와 관련한 조직의 구성 및 임무에 대하여 기술하였다. 또한 영국의 정보보호 시스템 평가승인 절차를 분석하였으며 영국의 암호 알고리즘과 평가 기준서인ITSEC에 대해 분석하였다.

본 연구에서는 국내 정보보호 체계를 수립하기 위하여 외국정보보호 체계분석의 일환으로 미국의 정보보호 체계를 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 미국의 정보보호 체계의 주요 기구인NCSC와 NIST의 역할을 알라보고, 미국의 컴퓨터 보안 프로그램으로서 TPEP, 네트워크 제품평가 및 DBMS평가방법에 대해서 분석하였으며 또한 통신 보안 프로그램으로 CCEP, 정부 승인 DES 제품 프로그램, EFT 인증 프로그램, PNSL, OLSL및 암호 제품의 판매 제한정책에 대하여 기술하였다.

This study analyzed employee's ethical perception and the ethical value of corporate between domestic distribution corporate and foreign distribution corporate. Although the perception of ethical management is lower and the introduction time was late as compared with those of distribution corporate of developed country, the results of research shows employee's ethical perception and ethical value of domestic discount store are higher than those of foreign discount store respectively. These findings explain the product of their efforts to excercise the corporate ethics, ethical platform, ethical programs etc.
