  • In Korea, it has recently occurred that problems of productivity and construction duration in the construction industry. If five days per week system come into effect, they'll become more urgent. The productivity of construction industry and competitive construction duration in Korea are too low. If post sale system becomes effective, construction companies will strive to improve productivity. Therefore, the objective of this study is to draw up Architectural PC as the alternative for productivity improving and analyze possibility of productivity improving by comparing with established method of construction.

A Study on Development of the Secondary Reverse Vortex in Building Canyon (건물협곡에서의 2차 역회전 소용돌이 형성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the effect of obstacle aspect ratio on vortex in building canyon was numerically investigated using a computational fluid dynamics(CFD) model. The sensitivity experiments were performed in the cases of increasing building length(L) and height(H) by the width(W) of building canyon. The wind vector fields and secondary reverse vortex in building canyon were discussed in this study. For the horizontal vortex, the vortex zone increased as the building length increases, but the vectors at the middle of building canyon began to change in the case of L/W=2.5. In the case of L/W=3.0, the smaller primary vortex was presented with the secondary reverse vortex. For the vertical vortex, the vortex zone increased as the building height increases, but the direction of vectors at the bottom of building canyon began to change in the case of H/W=2.5. In the case of H/W=3.5, the smaller primary vortex was presented with the secondary reverse vortex.

Evaluation of Obesity from BMI and Body Fat Rate, and Its Association with Coronary Risk Factors in Health Checkup Examinees (건강검진 수검자의 BMI와 체지방율에 의한 비만도 평가 및 관상동맥질환위험인자와의 관련성)

  • To evaluate the degree of obesity based on differential combinations of BMI and body fat ratio, and thereby to obtain the comprehensive determination of coronary heart disease risk factors. The present study was conducted among 3,731 individuals(male; 2,312, female; 1,419) who underwent general health checkup in the general health promotion center in a university hospital during 2-year period from Jan. 2008 to Dec. 2009. Based on the obesity categories from combinations of BMI and body fat ratio, 30.2% were "normal", 8.9% were "seemingly obese", 31.2% were "occult obese", and 29.8% were "obese". By sexual comparison, the proportion of "normal" and "seeming obese" individuals were higher in men than women, while "occult obese" and "obesity" individuals were preponderant in women compared to men. By age, the proportion of "obesity" individuals were higher in the 40' and 50's than in 30's and 60's. Based on the association between obesity categories and each of CRF, SBP, DBP, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C and TG was significantly higher in "seeming obese" and "obesity" group than in "normal" group, but SBP, TC and LDL-C was significantly higher in "occult obese" and "obesity" group than in "normal" group. For odds ratios of each of CRF for obesity categories, it was higher in "obesity" group, "seeming obese" group, "occult obese" group than in "normal" group in that order.

A study on the optimum ratio of the ingredients in preparation of black sesame gruels (흑임자죽 재료배합비의 최적화 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a standardized recipe for black sesame gruel that has been preferred for generations as a nutritional food. The method focused on optimizing the mixing ratio of the components to improve the quality of the black sesame gruels that modem consumers would like. The results are summarized as follows: The more black sesame added to the gruel, the lower its brightness was, but the redness and yellowness was higher. The amount of black sesame made a significant difference in the viscosity, color, nutty taste, bitterness, appearance and overall preference. It was highest in the overall preference when the amount of black sesame was added 33g(40% of rice weight basis). Different types of rice were added to the black sesame gruel, and it was observed that the color value of the gruel was high in its brightness, redness and yellowness when 50g(60%) of glutinous rice was added to it. The black sesame gruel was most preferred when 50g of non-glutinous rice was added. The redness value was high when 15g(18%) of non-glutinous rice flour was added. The yellowness value was high when 25g(30%) of non-glutinous rice flour was added. This observation showed significant differences in the viscosity, color, nutty taste, bitterness, appearance and overall preference. In particular, the black sesame gruel was most preferred when 50g of non-glutinous rice flour was added. The addition of 7g(9%) of salt to the black sesame gruel showed the highest brightness. The redness and yellowness was the highest when 5g(6%) of salt was added. This observation showed a significant difference in the viscosity, color, nutty taste, bitterness, appearance and overall preference. The highest preference was observed when 2.5g(3%) of salt was added. Adding more materials increased the viscosity of the black sesame gruel. With increasing temperature, the viscosity became lower, and vice versa. The intensity of sweetness and spreadability was found to be proportional to the amount of additive material. In conclusion, the optimum recipe for black sesame gruels was obtained 33g(40%) of black sesame, 50g(60%) of glutinous rice (flour), 2.5g of salt, and 500$m\ell$ of water.

Quality Changes as affected by Storage Temperature and PP Film Packaging on 'Sirocco' Paprika on Hydroponic (수경재배한 파프리카 '시로코' 저장온도별 PP필름 개별포장 따른 수확 후 특성 변화)

  • The aim of this study was to examine the effect of packaging on the quality maintenance of paprika (Capsicum annuum L. cv. Sirocco) stored at three different temperatures. Paprika was either unpacked (control) or packed with individual PP (propylene) film and stored at 10℃ and 20℃ for 30 days. Quality characteristics such as weight loss and appearance were examined. Paprika packed with PP film at 10℃ showed fewer quality changes compared to unpacked paprika stored at the other temperatures. Commercial properties tended to decrease rapidly during storage at 20℃ with unpacked paprika. The degree of fresh weight loss was significantly lower in packed paprika at 10℃ compared to unpacked paprika stored at other temperatures. It was found that general appearance, soluble solids content, and hardness were complexly affected by storage temperature and PP film packaging. A storage temperature of 10℃ was effective in maintaining freshness, and paprika packed in PP film maintained greater freshness than unpacked paprika. Our results showed that packaging is necessary to preserve the freshness and improve the marketability of paprika in the domestic market.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 초고층 건축물에 많이 활용되어지는 기둥-가새 시스템인 다이아그리드 시스템을 활용하여 중저층 건축물에 적용가능성을 평가하였다. 본 시스템은 튜브구조의 형태로 횡력에 대한 저항력이 우수하며 중력하중과 황하중을 기초와 지반에 안전하게 하중을 전달한다. 다이아그리드는 경사기둥과 보를 반복적으로 삼각형 형태로 배치되어 중력하중을 받을 경우 수직부재는 압축력을 보는 인장력을 받게 된다. 경사기둥과 보를 연결하는 접합부는 H-형강으로 설계 시 제작이 복잡하고 외관이 좋지 않다. 하지만 원형강관을 사용 할 경우 복합하지 않은 형태로 설계가 가능하고 외관이 우수하기 때문에 외부에 노출이 가능해진다. 또한 원형강관은 개방형 단면 부재에 비해 압축좌굴과 비틀림에 대한 성능 등이 우수하여 구조적인 성능이 우수하다. 원형강관을 이용하여 다이아그리드 시스템이 고층 건축물 뿐만 아니라 중저층 건축물에도 적용 타당성을 검토하였으며 원형강관 접합부 설계는 한계상태설계법이 사용 된 KBC2008(안)을 이용하여 설계하였다.

김치의 저장성에 미치는 포장내 표면처리 효과

  • 알코올 분무, 셀로판지 부착 등의 표면처리가 포장김치의 표면갈변과, pH, 산도, 균수 및 관능적 품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 실험에 사용된 포장김치는 200 g 들이 플라스틱 용기에 김치를 담은 후 무처리, 70% 알코올로 표면을 1회 분무한 것, 김치표면에 폴리에틸렌필름(두께 0.04 mm)을 부착하여 저장실 (10$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$)에서 21일간 저장하면서 3일 간격으로 조사하였다. 그 결과, 무처리와 알코올을 분무한 경우는 저장 15일째에 pH가 4.0수준에 도달하였으나 김치표면에 polyethylene film을 부착한 경우는 21일째까지도 pH가 4.0 이상을 유지하였다. 산도의 경우도 pH와 동일한 경향을 나타내어 polyethylene film으로 표면처리함으로서 김치의 숙성이 지연되었다. 무처리와 알코올을 처리한 것은 12일째부터 김치표면이 갈변하기 시작하였으며 18일째는 그 갈변정도가 심하였다. 그러나 polyethylene film을 표면에 부착한 경우는 저장 21일째까지도 갈변정토가 미약하였다. 저장기간에 따른 총균수의 변화는 무처리와 알코올을 처리한 경우가 polyethylene film을 부착한 경우에 비하여 증가폭이 컸으나 젖산균수는 반대로 polyethylene film을 부착한 경우가 무처리 또는 알코올을 분무한 경우에 비하여 높아 김치의 품질이 양호하였다. 무처리와 알코올을 분무한 김치의 표면에는 저장 15일 이후에 산막표모 및 곰팡이의 균사체가 번식하는 김치도 발견되었다. 처리별 이미 및 이취의 발생정도를 조사한 결과 무처리와 알코올을 처리한 경우는 저장 15일경에 특히 용기 표면에 위치하는 김치에서 이미와 이취가 있었으나 polyethylene film을 부착한 경우는 이미와 이취가 전혀 나타나지 않았다.채반에 넣고 밀도를 측정한 결과 1.002g/㎤을 나타냈다. 즉 물의 이론밀도인 1g/㎤에 근접한 값을 보여 정확한 밀도 계측이 가능한 것으로 판단되었다. 또한 밀도 계측시스템의 측정 반복간 정밀도를 파악하기 위해 수박 6개를 임으로 선정하여 3반복 측정 시험한 결과, 측정표준편차가 0.001~0.004g/㎤로 해상도보다는 다소 높았으나 대체로 양호한 결과를 나타냈다. 수박 35개를 이용하여 개발 계측시스템과 사람이 직접 부력법으로 밀도를 측정 비교한 결과, 계측시스템에 의해 측정된 수박 밀도가 사람이 측정했을 때 보다 낮게 측정되었다. 수박의 외관인자(무게, 길이, 직경, 체적), 밀도와 당도의 상관관계 구명시험을 위해 원예연구소 시험포장에서 재배된 삼복꿀수박 총 74개를 공시재료로 하였고, 시험은 출수일별로 10~14개씩 수확하여 외관인자, 밀도, 당도를 각각 측정하고, 이들 인자들간의 상관관계를 구명하였다. 외관인자들간에는 높은 상관관계를 보였으나, 외관인자들과 밀도, 외관인자들과 당도, 밀도와 당도와는 매우 낮은 상관관계를 나타냈다. 점성에 영향을 미치는 가장 주요한 조건이라고 생각된다.환원당인 sucrose 함량은 계속 증가하였고 fructose, glucose, sorbitol의 함량(추황의 sorbitol을 제외)은 생장이 촉진됨에 따라 증가하다가 다시 점차적으로 감소하였다. 이러한 결과는 총당과 환원당의 측정결과와 일치한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 배의 성장에 따라 산 함량은 감소하였고 당 함량은 증가하였다.luco-pyranoside, quercetin 7-O- -glucopyranoside, acacetin 7-O-$\beta$-D-glucuronide and apigenin-6-C-$\beta$-D-glucopyranosyl-8-C-$\b

Characteristics of Clinical Trials in Korea for Atopic Dermatitis - Focus on ClinicalTrials.gov Registered Clinical Trials - (식약처 승인 아토피 피부염 의약품 국내 임상 시험의 특성 - ClinicalTrials.gov 등록 임상시험을 중심으로-)

  • Objective : This study summarized the characteristics of clinical trials for atopic dermatitis medicines approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety(MFDS). This study may be a reference for the design of clinical trials of atopic dermatitis herbal medicine treatment which may be carried out later. Method : The characteristics of the clinical trial were analyzed for clinical trials registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, CRIS, and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute among the clinical trial approval statuses posted on the website of the MFDS. Result : 1. Clinical trial drugs were developed in various formulations such as oral medicines, injections, dermatologic agents, and similar proportions. Relatively little clinical trials were found for herbal medicine. 2. In the control evaluation test, most of the treatments for the control group were performed with placebo using Vehicle. 3. In most clinical trials, one intervention group was in the form of a parallel assignment with only one treatment. 4. The age of the subjects was 11 out of 28 studies including minors, and clinical trials targeting minors were also found to be significant. 5. In the case of atopic dermatitis, the cases of subacute chronic or atopic dermatitis more than 6 months or more than 1 year were often used. 6. Most clinical trials were divided into mild to moderate atopic dermatitis or moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. The SCORAD index, EASI, IGA, BSA, and NRS were used as the evaluation criteria. 7. Regulations for the drugs used prior to the trial period for the treatment of atopic dermatitis vary somewhat from one clinical trial to another. 8. IGA was used most often as a primary efficacy tool, and SCORAD index, EASI, and NRS were also used.

A Study on Dam Exterior Inspection and Cost Standards using Drones (드론을 활용한 댐 외관조사 및 대가기준에 대한 연구)

  • Purpose: Safety inspections by existing personnel have been limited in evaluation and data securing due to concerns about the safety of technicians or difficulty in accessing them, and are becoming a bigger problem as the number of maintenance targets increases due to the aging of facilities. As drone technology develops, it is possible to ensure the safety of personnel, secure visual data, and diagnose quickly, and use it is increasing as safety inspection of facilities by drones was introduced recently. In order to further enhance utilization, it is considered necessary to base a consideration standard for facility appearance investigation by drones, and in this paper, research was conducted on dams. Method: To calculate the quality, existing domestic safety inspection and drone-related consideration standards were investigated, and procedures related to safety inspection using drones were compared and analyzed to review work procedures and construction types. In addition, empirical data were collected through drone photography and elevation image production for the actual dam. Result: Work types for safety inspection of facilities using drones were derived, and empirical survey results were collected for two dams according to work types. The existing guidelines were applied for the adjustment ratios for each structural type and standard of the facility, and if a meteorological reference point survey was necessary, the unmanned aerial vehicle survey of the construction work standard was applied. Conclusion: The finer the GSD in appearance investigation using drones, the greater the number of photographs taken, and the concept of adjustment cost was applied as a correction to calculate the consideration standard. In addition, it was found that the problem of maximum GSD indicating limitations should be considered in order to maintain the safe distance.

Development of a Bodice Prototype Drafting Method for 20s Obesity Males using 3D Simulation

  • This study attempted to develop a bodice prototype suitable for the 20's obese male's trunk with a BMI of 25kg/m2 or more, which is distinguished from the standard body type. Through this, it was intended to provide data to help the development of clothing for obese males. Patterns such as front bodice shoulder line and front sagging were modified through primary appearance and garment pressure evaluation. Through the second evaluation, corrections such as back armhole, back waistline, and front sagging were performed. Through the third evaluation, the final pattern drafting method was developed by removing the front sagging added through the second evaluation. In the case of obese male body types in their 20s, a drafting method distinguished from the standard body type was required in the method of setting the front and back waist lines, back armhole darts, and front shoulder lines due to protruding and posture of the abdomen. This study was meaningful in that it presented a bodice prototype drafting method suitable for the 20s obese males. In the follow-up study, it is thought that actual clothing experiments and studies to develop clothing patterns by applying them to obese male tops in their 20s should be conducted.
