큰 잘못을 하지 않아도 주기적으로 두들겨 맞아야 직성이 풀리는 제품이 있다. 커피자판기가 바로 그것. 최근 들어서 식품자동판개기가 위생점검 후에는 큰 잘못이 없어도 언론의 뭇매를 맞는게 늘고 있다. 민주 언론사회에서 과연 있을 수 있는 일인가 할 정도로 보도는 왜곡된다. 너무 선정적이고 사실무근이어서 울화가 치밀어 오르는 것도 모자라 헛웃음까지 날 지경이다. 지난 6월 13일 서울시가 발표한 식품자판기 점검결과를 보도하는 매스컴들은 똑 같은 작태를 따른 곳들이 많다. 산업계가 그러려니 침묵하기에는 너무 억울하다. 잘못된 보도로 인해 매출은 급락하고 자판기에 대한 소비자 시선은 싸늘해지는데 참고만 있기엔 억장이 무너진다. 지난 6월 중순 서울시 식품자동판매기 점검결과에 대한 왜곡된 보도, 과연 누구의 잘못인가? 따질건 따져보다. 먼저 서울시의 식품자동판매기 점검결과 보도자료를 그대로 살펴보자. 그리고 극명하게 왜곡된 SBS 보도 내용을 살펴보자. 많은 언론들이 SBS보도 내용 같은 보도를 일삼았다.

Dong-a Ilbo tried to assume leadership of opinion in preceding the movement against the trusteeship as a mouthpiece for the Han-Min Party. Dong-a Ilbo was to try to promote the atmosphere of anti-trusteeship=anti-communism=anti-Soviet Union, distorting the decision of a conference of three foreign affairs ministers in Moscow. It was not an incorrect report, but the false report. As a result, the formula of an anti-trusteeship=anti-Soviet Union=anti-communism=patriotism, and a pro-trusteeship=pro-Soviet Union=pro-Communism=traitor was formed. And the important problems of land reform and pro-Japanese‘ clearance were missing. Historically, political newspapers had appeared in the periods of very important political change. Political newspapers played a role as mouthpiece for political party or group. Dong-a Ilbo was such a political newspaper. It was that Dong-a Ilbo tried to change the social atmosphere in preceding the movement against the trusteeship as a mouthpiece for the Han-Min Party. And history was distorted.

대학과 대학교수들은 분명 비판받을 점이 많다. 그렇기에 언론이 냉정하게 이성적으로 대학사회의 문제를 지적하고 비판한다면, 그건 우리의 대학발전에 큰 도움이 될 것이다. 그런데 언론은 대학과 대학교수에 대해 보도할 때엔 이성을 잃고 감정적인 보복을 하는 듯한 태도로 나오니 대학발전에 도움이 되기는커녕 오히려 대학발전에 역행하기 일쑤다. 언론의 대학교수 관련보도에 많은 문제가 있다는 건 모든 교수들이 공감하고 있는 듯히다. 그러나 그런 보도에 대한 교수들의 대응은 거의 전무했다. 비록 과장과 왜곡이 난무할망정 언론의 대학교수 비판에 타당한 면이 있는 건 분명한 이상, 교수들이 적극적으로 시시비비를 가리는 것이 옳을 것이다. 그렇게 하는 것이 논쟁의 생산성을 높여 궁극적으로 대학발전에도 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

This study examined how the three major newspapers covered the press reform movement in Korea. Despite that the NGOs and Korean government keep trying to reform the market and structure of the newspapers, the targeted newspapers argue that they are unjustly accused of the dominance of the press market made by the readers' choice. Using frame analysis and discourse analysis, this study analyzed the news coverage on the press reform for 6 months and revealed that these major newspapers presumed to be targeted were totally challenging against the press reform by means of flaming of news and using news discourse. The ways of challenge were, firstly they appealed to the readers that the press reform is the press suppress so that they have to fight against this unacceptable pressure. And secondly, they report the news selectively for their own interests by elaborating, magnifying, or reducing the facts. Thirdly, they attack the government policies and major figures leading the press reform by letting the outside columnists favorable to their own standing point. And finally, they conduct the poll on and off and report what they want according to their self interests.

The news coverage of Sewol Ferry catastrophe has reprimanded from numbers of people because of false reports and mediamorphosis such as distorted news. Thus, the purpose of this study is to examine the news coverage of television news programs about the Sewol Ferry catastrophe. Specifically, this study was conducted to figure out problems with the disaster news reports of several broadcasting stations such as, KBS, MBC, SBS and JTBC. Furthermore, the study also explores about how they reported without following the rules of disaster news coverage and policy of disaster news coverage by content analysis.

The Press related Energy including nuclear energy has social responsibility that it should pass the scientific factors to the right. It is essential to ensure the accuracy and fairness. The general public, such as press releases and information obtained through indirect communication affects social acceptance of nuclear power, which is used to determine the direction of energy policy, the most important factor to be taken into account. Recent rapid increase coverage of NPP lose in balance of nuclear power plants. In this study the qualitative interviews were performed with the workers who stand directly in obtaining information about nuclear related organizations. By E-mail and FGI the data were collected from the workers' perception about domestic nuclear news. They perceived the NPP news that the negative aspects of nuclear power plants were too much dealt in nuclear news coverage, and risk of NPP is only exaggerated and distorted, the lack of expertise knowledge on nuclear power and recognize that the cause was a lack of understanding. 'Nuclear mah' for the event were aware that should dig more thoroughly. The Journal of Digital Policy & Management.

최근들어 식품자동판매기가 매스컴으로부터 집중 뉴스 포커스를 받고 있다. 보상금을 노린 파파라치들의 미신고자판기 고발 급증, 컵음료 위생불량 실태 고발로 자판기에 대한 여론이 더 이상 방치해서는 안될 정도로 악화되고 있다. 특히 위생문제는 정도 이상으로 과대포장되어 각 매스컴에 보도됨에 따라 의례적으로 있던 위생점검 보도와는 달리 상당한 파장을 불러 일으켰다. 가뜩이나 부진한 시장 상황속에서 자판기 주변 환경적인 요인들이 여러 악재에 시달리는 상황을 더 이상 시간이 지나면 잠잠해 지겠지 하는 시각으로 바라봐서는 안된다. 이제는 고질적인 문제에 대한 근본적인 대책과 개선을 통해 보다 떳떳하고 당당한 설치환경을 확보해야 한다. 이러한 차원에서 금번 위생불량에 대한 왜곡된 보도가 안는 문제점을 통해 현행 자판기 위생관련 조항들이 갖고 있는 근본적인 모순점을 살펴보고, 이에 대한 올바른 개선방안을 모색하고자 한다. 아울러 영업신고와 자판기 위생관리 향상을 위한 산업계 자율 대책에 대해서도 살펴보고자 한다

Raised or plain block is widely used for the pedestrian's safe passage. The insincere construction, insufficient maintenance and obstacle overlaid on the pavement cause pedestrian's accidents. This paper proposes a method to detect brick path by analyzing the shape pattern and texture feature of brick located in visible distance for a safe passage. A brick appears to a regular type because of its specific shape which repeats with its sized gap and its type varies according to the surrounding environment or use. This paper shows a method which extracts the shape pattern by analyzing single surface polygon and its frequency appearing in road area. The shape pattern is used to detect similar shape regions. Some regions are not detected because extraneous substances or chopped bricks distort the original shape. This problem can be solved by analyzing the texture feature vector. The analyzed vector of the previously detected regions yields the Gaussian distribution. This value in each undetected region is computed and checked whether it's satisfied with Gaussian distribution or not. The satisfied region is detected as the brick path. The experiment was performed with the various type's bricks to recognize so that the results showed as accurate as 95.9% in average.
