The emissivity is different because the emitted angle changes according to the position of the infrared thermography camera and object. Because of this, the temperature distribution expressed when measuring the temperature by using the infrared thermography system is not the accuracy temperature. Although the real surface temperature is constant, the temperature measured by using infrared thermography camera have error in accordance with the value of emissivity. In this paper, the temperatures of the round cylindrical object and the flat square object that heated to the equal temperature were measured by infrared thermography camera. The emissivity calibration formula and correction table are made with the affect of the view angle and emission angle form the surface temperature value. The error of measured temperature values are corrected by using the emissivity calibration formula and correction table, and apply to defect detection of the nuclear power plant pipe. From the calibration method, reliability surface temperature values were obtained.

Submarines, which require a high degree of survivability, are among the most critical combat weapon systems in military strategic assets. Conventional submarines need air to operate their propulsion systems. Exhaust gases released into the water during snorkel navigation heat the surrounding fluid, producing a temperature wake. This wake, in turn, reduces the submarine's survivability. In this study, we conducted a preliminary experiment on the temperature traces formed by an underwater submarine's waste discharge. For this purpose, we collected propulsion system and navigation condition data from domestically introduced submarines and developed an experimental system to measure the temperature traces. As a result, we observed that high-temperature bubbles injected into the tank broke down into smaller sizes, and their temperature dropped to levels similar to the surrounding fluid. This observation was confirmed using a thermocouple sensor. Consequently, the thermal imaging system designed to measure the temperature trace of the water's surface did not detect any significant temperature traces.

In this paper, the fire risk using a bimetal type thermometer for construction installation is presented. Because construction equipment is used widely in the field and the site is exposed to explosions and fire by combustible gas or fume, strong restrictions on the structure and usage are applied. Moreover, the risk of fire increases as precise temperature measurements are poorly conducted via an inner temperature sensor inside construction furnace. Therefore, this paper presents the results of structural analysis of a bimetal temperature sensor which is used widely in construction installation and temperature measurement experiments relative to the material property of the target object. The results revealed the relatively precise temperature of the liquid object, whereas those of the gas and solid object showed a lower temperature compared to the real temperature. This shows that bimetal-type temperature sensor is more suitable for measuring a liquid state object than measuring a gas or solid state object.
This study was aimed at offering basic data to develop a new use of sawdust and rice husk. The results of this study were as follows: In surface temperature of ceramics by resin impregnation rate, the velocity was great in the early time of heat transfer because the temperature precipitously increased to 10 minutes elapsed. Also, the surface temperature of ceramics manufactured in resin impregnation rate of 60~70% indicated the highest. Heat transfer was fast in terms of the changes in surface temperature of ceramics according to the carbonization temperature, as because the density of ceramics made on condition of the carbonization temperature of $1000^{\circ}C$and $1200^{\circ}C$ was high. Moreover, ceramics maintained heat for a long time because the descent velocity of surface temperature of ceramics was slower than that of heater.

This paper proposed the method to find out the optimal sensing point of temperature in test-bed with the sensor of temperature, such as real residence. We selected optimal locations by checking temperature change which was simulated by the means of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and the variation of air flow. We installed 30 temperature sensors in real place. After that, we compared the real one with the result of simulation.

In this study, if the set temperature of the refrigerator differs from the set temperature of the refrigerator, the temperature distribution of food in the refrigerator is estimated by measuring the temperature in the refrigerator and in the refrigerator room. In addition, based on the set temperature of the refrigerator and the freezer, the temperature range of the heat is large and the time required to recover to the set temperature is to be determined. And the optimal setting temperature for home refrigerators is to be shown by measuring the amount of power consumed to recover to the set temperature. As a result, the conditions in which the temperature in the freezer realized $-18^{\circ}C$ were only appropriate in case 3, Case 6, Case 8, and Case 9 when the set temperature in the refrigerator was lower than that in the freezer. Under these conditions, the minimum temperature in the refrigerator was $-1.1^{\circ}C$, Case 6 was $-1.5^{\circ}C$, Case 8 was $-1.1^{\circ}C$ and Case 9 was $-0.8^{\circ}C$, respectively. Also, the total power consumption during the 10 hours operation time of each case was greater than the setting temperature of the freezer and the refrigerator except case 4, since case 4 started operation around 13:30 in the morning.

In general, Top Of Atmosphere(TOA) brightness temperature is closely related to air temperature. Brightness temperature can be derived from the Thermal Infra-Red Sensors (TIRS) of the earth observation satellites such as the Landsat series. The TIRS instrument of the Landsat-8 satellite collects the two spectral bands (Bands 10 and 11) that measure brightness temperature. In this research, the relationship between the air temperature data measured by the weather stations in Seoul, South Korea and the brightness temperature data separately derived from Bands 10 and 11 of the Landsat-8 satellite were assessed in the different seasons through the correlation analysis. The statistical results led to the following conclusions. First, brightness temperature is closely related to air temperature in order of Spring, Autumn, Winter and Summer. Second, when air temperature increases, brightness temperature also increases in Spring, Autumn and Winter but decreases in Summer. Third, Band 10 has a closer relationship to air temperature than Band 11.

This study analyzed on the characteristics of temperature distribution in an active regeneration DPF using computer simulation. In order to verify the boundary condition of analysis, results of temperature distribution in DPF are compared between experimental and computer simulation. Using this boundary condition, temperature distribution and filter's durability in DPF analyzed according to various operating conditions. The results of computational analysis are agreed well with experimental ones from the tendency of temperature distribution of axis and radius direction. The temperature increases and the axial temperature gradients in DPF according to velocity of exhaust gas are lowered as the high velocity of exhaust gas. But the temperature gradients of radius direction at exit side in DPF are grown as the high velocity of exhaust gas. The results according to inlet temperature of exhaust gas show that the increase ratios of temperature in DPF are grown as the high temperature of exhaust gas.
The temperature data were measured for two years in a bridge specimen and the bridge in service nearby in order to calculate the effective temperature for thermal loads in steel box girder bridge. The maximum and minimum effective temperatures were calculated in the bridge specimen and the bridge according to air temperature in 2014, 2015 and 2years. The effective temperatures calculated in this study were compared the Euro code and the Highway Bridge Design Criteria. The coefficients of determination in the maximum effective temperature and the Euro code for 2 year were calculated from R = 0.927, R = 0.894 in a bridge specimen and the bridge respectively. Those of minimum temperature and the Euro code were analyzed from R = 0.992, R = 0.813 in two bridge respectively. Also, the results were evaluated as being very similar, or slightly increased as compared with the maximum temperature of the Korean Highway Bridge Design Code(Limit State Design).

In this paper, we propose temperature inference system for indoor and outdoor temperature of the Air-Conditioner with limited sensors. The proposed system based on the network theory of biological immune system consists of indoor and outdoor temperature inference process. It is designed that on-line temperature inference is possible. This system is admirable for unlearned data as well as given input data by making efficient use of previous information.
